Hila Coleman

PECOS -- Hila Marie Coleman, 82, of Pecos, a homemaker, died Monday, May 25, 1998, at her residence.

Services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at West Park Baptist Church with the Rev. James Sain officiating. Burial will be at Fairview cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.

He was born in Pink Hill and had lived in Pecos since 1937. She was a Baptist.

Survivors: Son, Cyrus Coleman Jr. of Pecos; sisters, Allene Fatherly of Van Allystne; and two grandchildren.

Glenn Davis

ANDREWS -- Glenn Davis, 50, of Andrews, a parts salesman, died Monday, May 25, 1998, at Permian General Hospital.

Services will held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Andrews Church of Christ with Bob DuPont officiating. Burial will be at Andrews North cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.

He was born in Morton and moved to Andrews in 1984 from Lubbock. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors: Wife, Suzi Davis of Andrews; son, Cory Davis of Andrews; daughter, Julie Davis of Andrews; mother, Mearl Davis of Littlefield; brothers, Don Davis of Fort Worth, David Davis of Arlington; and sister, Jean Richardson of Muleshoe.

Gilberto Navarette

ODESSA -- Gilberto Navarette, 63, of Odessa, a self-employed construction worker, died Sunday, May 24, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Martinez Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Luis Cepeda officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.

He was born in Vado de Piedra, Mexico, and had lived in Odessa since 1969. He was a Catholic.

Survivors: Wife, Librada Navarette of Odessa; sons, Israel Navarette, Rodolfo Navarette, Gilberto Navarette Jr., Alonson Navarette and Genaro Navarette, all of Odessa; daughters, Debra Navarette of Odessa, Carolina Nava of El Paso, Delia Renteria of Odessa; brothers, Felipe Navarette of Hobbs, N.M., Salvador Navarette of Belen, N.M., Luis Navarette of Albuquerque, N.M., Manuel Navarrette, Refugio Navarette, both of Hobbs, N.M.; sisters, Olivia Ramirez and Carmen Gomez, both of Hobbs, N.M., Concepsion Lujan of Pecos, Elisa Ramirez of Presidio; and 21 grandchildren.

Norma Prew

BALMORHEA -- Norma Jane Prew, 73, of Balmorhea died Monday, May 25, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. at Balmorhea cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.

She was born in Shipler, Okla., and was a lifelong resident of Balmorhea. Survivors: Daughter, Judy James of Tulsa, Okla.; brothers, Lee Douglous of California, J.C. Burnett of Connecticut; and sister, Francis James of Tulsa, Okla.

Victor Kipgen

ODESSA -- Victor Page Kipgen Jr., 79, of Odessa, a retired wireline technician, died Monday, May 25, 1998, at his residence.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Dr. Ernest Easley officiating. Arrangements are by Frank Wilson Funeral Directors.

He was born in Bradford, Pa., and moved to Odessa in 1923, from Bradford, Pa. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a Baptist.

Survivors: Wife, Wilma Ramsey of Odessa; daughter, Barbara Kipgen of El Paso; son, Victor Kipgen III of El Paso; step-daughters, Elaine Hawk and Denese Henderson, both of Odessa; step-sons, Ronald Woodard of Artesia, N.M., Vernon Woodard of Austin, Butch Woodard of Odessa; brothers, Tom Kipgen and Don Kipgen, both of Midland; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Kenneth Wagner

ODESSA -- Kenneth Earl "Kenny" Wagner, 76, of Odessa, a retired pipeline construction worker, died Tuesday, May 26, 1998, at Memorial Hospital in Midland.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with the Rev. Robert Scofield officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangments by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

He was born in Glen Elder, Kan., and moved to Odessa in 1947 from Oxford, Neb. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors: Wife, Florence Wagner of Odessa; daughter, Patricia Hamlin of Angelton; brother, Virgil Wagner of Loomis, Neb.; sister, Fern Miller of Long Island, Kan.; and one grandchild.

Lillian McCoo

ODESSA -- Lillian McCoo, 80, of Odessa, died Tuesday, May 26, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. Estella Ortiz ODESSA -- Estella Ortiz, 57, of Denver City, died Tuesday, May 26, 1998, at Yoakum County Hospital.

Services are pending with Martinez Funeral Home.

Vera Johnson

ANDREWS -- Vera Lee Cook Johnson, 85, of Midland, a homemaker, died Tuesday, May 26, 1998, at Courtyard Care Center in Midland.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Andrews Church of Christ with John Snider officiating. Burial will be at Andrews West cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.

She was born in Wall and moved to Andrews in 1987 and then to Midland in 1993. She was Baptist.

Survivors: Daughters, Mary Uzzle of Fort Worth, Robbie Dillard of Andrews, Joy Bolling of Midland, Iris Rossow of Fort Worth, Maudie Johnson of Hobbs, N.M.; sons, Charles Johnson of Odessa, John Johnson of Lewisville, Jimmy Johnson of Hobbs, N.M.; 32 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Dalton Hogg

SANDERSON -- Dalton D. Hogg, 75, of Sanderson, a retired sheriff for Terrell County, died Tuesday, May 26, 1998, at Pecos County Memorial Hospital.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Sanderson High School Auditorium with Sonny Guild officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Grove cemetery in Sanderson. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.

He was born in Lamesa and had lived in Sanderson since 1947 after moving from Lamesa. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors: Wife, Henry Beth Hogg of Sanderson; son, John Dalton of El Paso; brother, Jimmie Lee of Dublin; sisters, Marie Batson and Lucille Riggan, both of Lamesa; and two grandchildren.

Lillian McCoo

MONAHANS -- Lillian Marie McCoo, 80, of Odessa, a retired school teacher, died Tuesday, May 26, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Terry officiating. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant cemetery in Smithville. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

She was born in Smithville. She was Baptist.

Survivors: Son, Marvin McCoo of Sanders, Ariz.; and two grandchildren.

Eustolia Ortiz

ODESSA -- Eustolia Abalos Ortiz, 57, of Denver City, a homemaker, died Tuesday, May 26, 1998, at Yoakum County Hospital in Denver City.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Luis Cepeda officiating. Burial will be at Rankin cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.

She was born in Rankin and had lived in Denver City for two years after moving from Iraan. She was Catholic.
