Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jess Little officiating and assisted by the Rev. Charlie Johnson. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
He was born in Fayette County, Texas. He was Baptist.
Survivors Wife, Thelma Ray Johnson of Odessa; son, the Rev. Charles “Chuck” James Andrew Johnson of Fritch, Texas; daughter, Cindy Denise Curnutt of Odessa; mother, Ollie Frances Holland of Odessa; brothers, Clinton Ray Johnson, John Everett Johnson and Wallace Lynn Johnson; sisters, Dora Vadjos and Della Hearn; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Lasara O. Acosta
Fort Stockton - Lasara O. Acosta, 74, of Fort Stockton, a cafeteria worker for Fort Stockton ISD, died Friday, May 5, 2006, in San Antonio.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at the Fort Stockton Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Fort Stockton with Floro Hinacay officiating.
She was born in Fort Stockton. She was Catholic.
Survivors Husband, Antonio S. Acosta of Fort Stockton; sons, Raul Acosta, Tony Acosta and Robert Acosta of Fort Stockton and Fidel Acosta of San Antonio; daughters, Lupe Rey of Fort Stockton and Martha Garcia, Tina Lopez and Yolanda Mejia, all of Odessa; brothers, Manuel Ontiveros of Fort Stockton and Robert Ontiveros of Victoria; sisters, Frances Flores of Fort Stockton, Estefana Jimenez of San Antonio and Clara Caballero of Lubbock; 25 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Dolores ‘Loly’ Ortiz
Monahans - Dolores ‘Loly’ Ortiz, 61, of Monahans, a cake decorator, died Sunday, May 7, 2006, in Monahans.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Assembly of God in Monahans with Shannon Vincen Hallen officiating. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements are by Harkey Family Funeral Services.
She was born in Monahans.

He was born in Monahans.
Survivors Son, Christopher Hlavaty of Coppell; his daughter, Shannon Hlavaty of Carrollton; his mother, Hazel Lowery of Monahans; brothers, Andy Hlavaty of Dallas and Jim Hlavaty of Paden, Oklahoma; and sister, Robin Duncan of Odessa.

MCCAMEY - Stacy Albert Hodges, 75, of McCamey, a retired Lab Technician, died Friday, May 5, 2006, at Crane Memorial Hospital.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at the McCamey Church of Christ with the Rev. Colquitt Nash officiating. Burial will follow in the Crane County cemetery. Arrangements are by Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of McCamey.
She was born in De Leon. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the McCamey Church of Christ.

She was born in Killeen and moved to Fort Stockton in 1999 from Sanderson. She was Methodist.

ODESSA - Isidro “Izzie” Brijalba, 80, of Odessa, a truck driver for Jones Brothers Dirt and Paving Contractors Inc., died Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at Home Hospice.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with the Rev. Bernadito Getigan officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. at Saragosa cemetery in Saragosa. Arrangements are by Odessa Funeral Home.
He was born in Brogado and was a World War II Navy veteran. He was a member of the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. He also retired as owner and operator of Sand’s Trucking.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens in the Temple Beth El section, with Rabbi Sidney Zimelman officiating. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
She was born in Herron, Ill., and was a member of Temple Beth El.

ODESSA - Hoie Charles Meinzer, 89, of Odessa, a longtime employee of Gulf Refining Co., died Wednesday, May 3, 2006, at a local hospital.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Terry Pierce officiating. Graveside services will be at the Kermit cemetery in Kermit. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Rotan and was a World War II Army veteran. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
SURVIVORS Wife, Imogene of Odessa; sons, Eugene Wilkerson of Carrollton and Gary Meinzer of The Woodlands; and three grandchildren.
