Services are pending with Martinez-Smith Funeral Chapels & Crematory.

John Michael Cherrybone Jr.
Odessa - John Michael Cherrybone Jr., 69, of Odessa, died Friday, April 28, 2006, in Odessa.
Services will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
He was born in Flushing, N.Y. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors Wife, Connie Lee Cherrybone; sons, John Michael Cherrybone III, Jim Cherrybone and Brian Cook; daughter, Candice Cherrybone-White, Leslie Lockett and Jill Jantz; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Andrews - Elizabeth Gamboa, 13, of Andrews, a student at Andrews Middle School, died Tuesday May 2, 2006, at Covenant Children’s Hospital in Lubbock.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with the Rev. Bernard Gully officiating. Burial will be at Andrews North cemetery.
She was born in Andrews.
Survivors Father, Joe Gamboa, formerly of Andrews; mother, Frances Hernandez of Andrews; brother, Michael Gamboa of Andrews; sisters, Rosie Trevino, Josie Sanchez, and Delilah Gamboa, all of Andrews; grandparents, Frances and Manuel “Pewee” Barboza of Andrews and Henry Gamboa; and great-grandparents, Ramon and Filipa Barrera of Roswell, N.M.

Harris E. Mitchell
San Antonio - Harris E. Mitchell, 83, of San Marcos, formerly of Odessa and a retired United States Navy VF-9, died Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 9:15 a.m. Friday at Fort Sam Houston National cemetery. Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Pennington Memorial Chapel with the Rev. James A. McKibbin officiating.
He was born in Richmond and was a Navy veteran. He was a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of God).
Survivors Wife, Frances Mitchell; son, Alan Mitchell of Boerne and Butch Logan of Canyon Lake; daughter, Mary Kay Taylor of San Marcos; and five grandchildren.

Odessa - Irene Tabarez Moton, 45, of Crane, a store clerk, died Monday, May 1, 2006, at Medical Center Hospital.
Rosary will be said at 7:15 p.m. Friday at St. Anthonys Catholic Church. Memorial Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. Mark Miller officiating. Burial will be held private at a later date. Arrangements are by Odessa Funeral Home.
She was born in Pecos.

Services will 10 a.m. today at Highland United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Goodwater, Ala.
Survivors Son, Charles Sprayberry of Midland; daughters, Lynne Anderson of Mesa, Ariz. and Pamala Houghton of Phoenix, Ariz.; seven grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Clydel Chapman and Jeff Chapman officiating.
He was born in Abilene.
