He was born in Gladewater. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors: Wife, Marsha Hankins of Odessa; sons, Wesley Hankins of Odessa, Ryan Hankins of Lewisville; daughter, Heather Hankins of Odessa; and parents, Jack and Flossie Hankins of Kilgore. Mary Carl ODESSA -- Mary Francis Carl, 91, of Odessa, a secretary, died Thursday, Aug. 13, 1998, at her residence. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Arrangements are by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. She was born in Cordell, Okla., and moved to Odessa in 1996 from Wewoka, Okla. SURVIVORS: Daughter, Melba Williams of Odessa; sons, Daniel Carl of Columbia, South America, Charles E. Carl of Bowie; sister, Flora Miller of Tulsa, Okla.; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Bud Crump KERMIT -- Bud Crump, 87, of Kermit, a retired postman, died Wednesday, Aug. 12, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Grace Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Lee Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel Inc. He was born in Coleman County and was a 50-year resident of Kermit. He was Baptist. He was a veteran of the Army Reserves. JoAnna Land ODESSA -- JoAnna Carolina Dampier Land, 63, of Odessa, a retired employee of Seabury Nursing Center, died Wednesday, Aug. 12, 1998.
