North Ranchito Pedro Torrivio Landa, 52, of Odessa, an automobile body repairman, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 1999, in Kansas.
Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of San Juan Catholic Church. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at Odessa Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home.
He was born in Farr.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Irene Landa of Odessa; sons, Pedro Landa Jr., Paul Landa, and Thomas Rene Vasquez, all of Odessa; daughter, Ruby Landa of Odessa; sisters, Lucia Vasquez of Odessa, Lucinda Martinez of Denver, Colo., Juanita Macias of Greeley, Colo., and Silvia Romo of Hugoton, Kan.; and three grandchildren.
Joel Manriquez
MIDLAND Joel Enrique Manriquez, 25, of Mobile, Ala., died Saturday, Nov. 13, 1999, in Mobile, Ala.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of San Juan Catholic Church with the Rev. Art Flores officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview cemetery. Arrangements by Reyes-Garcia Funeral Home.
He was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
SURVIVORS: Parents, Ricardo and Maria Manriquez of Midland; brothers, Roberto Manriquez, Ricardo Manriquez Jr., Ramon Elijio Manriquez and Antonio Manriquez, all of Midland, and Jose Cesar Manriquez of Corpus Christi; and sisters, Maria Monica Carrasco of Gautier, Miss., and Maria Lilia Segura of Sonora.

ALPINE Pedro "Pete" Ramirez, 90, of Alpine, died Monday, Nov. 15, 1999, at a local care center.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. today at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Burial will be at Holy Angels cemetery. Arrangements by Geeslin Funeral Home.
He was born in Alpine and was a lifelong resident.
SURVIVORS: Son, Cornelio C. Ramirez of Alpine; daughters, Lydia Ramirez Zamudio of Del Rio and Corina Ramirez Brown of Alpine; sister, Rosa Ramirez Ogas of Lancaster, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Areopagita Vasquez
MARFA Areopagita Vasquez, 81, of Pecos, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 1999, at Pecos Nursing Home.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Marys Catholic Church. Burial will be at Merced cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
He was born in Chihuahua, Mexico, and was a lifelong resident of Pecos. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Stepsons, Alonzo Vasquez of Pecos and Ricardo Vasquez of El Paso; stepdaughters, Gloria Rodriguez of Pecos, Maria Luisa Machuca of Marfa, Celia Williams of Sunnyvale, Calif., and Julia Lujan of El Paso; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren.

ODESSA S.D. Pettigrew, 83, of Odessa, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital.

SAN ANGELO Ruth J. Hale, 85, of Lubbock, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 1999, in a Lubbock hospital.

She was born in Avon, Ill. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Kenneth Higgins and Archie Higgins, both of Monahans, and Paul Higgins of Granbury; daughters, Judy Peek of New Home and Dovonia Black of Lubbock; sister, Louise Baker of Hedgesville, W.Va.; and brother, Kenneth Bloyer of Aspen, Pa.

ODESSA Maximino Jacquez, 74, of Odessa, a pipeline fitter, died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Templo Alpha Omega with the Rev. Sam Ramirez officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
He was born in Imperial. He was a member of Templo Alpha Omega Church.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Leticia Bejarano of Odessa; brothers, Elauterio Jacquez of Van Horn and Nestor Jacquez Sr. of Fort Stockton; sister, Margarita Amparano and Gloria Jacquez, both of La Luz, N.M.; six grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Stephen McKenzie
FORT STOCKTON Stephen C. McKenzie, 44, of Fort Stockton, a chorale music director, died Monday, Oct. 18, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 4 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church with the Revs. Larry Krueger and K.C. Ketter-Black officiating. Burial will be at East Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
He was born in Fort Stockton and was a lifelong resident. He was Methodist.

She was born in Hill County and moved to Plainview in 1943. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Franklin Sisk of Odessa; daughters, Anne Caraway and LaQuita DeBusk, both of Odessa, and Imogene Brooks of Sun City, Ariz.; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

She was born in North Hollywood, Calif., and was a longtime resident of Odessa. She was Baptist.
