FORT STOCKTON — Olivia Cordero, 62, of Fort Stockton, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 1999, in El Paso.
Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Fort Stockton and was a lifelong resident. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Patrick H. Cordero Sr. of Fort Stockton; son, Patrick Cordero Jr. of Midland; daughters, Michele Cordero Turner of Fort Stockton, Brenda Cordero and Yvonne Bonnye Cordero, both of Midland; brothers, Juan Castelo of Las Cruces, N.M., and Mike Castelo and Henry Castelo, both of Fort Stockton; sisters, Lila Acosta of Fort Stockton, Fina Grado and Juanita Salmon, both of Odessa, Elisa Esparaza of Monahans, Lupe Urias and Rita Garza, both of Corpus Christi; and one grandchild.

Gussie Douglas
ODESSA — Gussie Anna Douglas, 88, of Odessa, died Sunday, Oct. 17, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Johnson Chapel A.M.E. with the Rev. J.T. Garnet officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.
She was born in Minerva.
SURVIVORS: Son, Edward Adams of Amarillo; sisters, Vivian Everage of Odessa and Dorothy Sweezer of Houston; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Octaviano Ramirez
CLEBURNE — Octaviano "Tano" Ramirez, 41, of Cleburne, a certified auto body technician, died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1999, in Cleburne.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Sergio Rizo officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery in Cleburne. Arrangements by Martin’s Funeral Home.
He was born in Big Spring. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Mother, Elpidia P. Ramirez of Cleburne; sisters, Lupe Garza and Maria Cookmeyer, both of Cleburne.

Essie Mae Taylor
ODESSA — Essie Mae Taylor, 80, of Odessa, an entrepreneur, died Friday, Oct. 15, 1999, at her residence.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Greater St. John Baptist Church with Elder Joe Parks officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Queen City and moved to Odessa in 1949. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Arthur Ray Anderson Sr. of Odessa; daughters, Darlene Rigsby and Dorothy Mae Parks, both of Odessa; two brothers, Colombus Williams of Texarkana and Roscoe Williams of Dallas; one sister, Annie Mae Arnold of Texarkana; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Dorothy Dean
PECOS — Dorothy Finley Dean, 88, of Pecos died Friday, Oct. 22, 1999, at her residence.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church with the Revs. Joseph T. Fields and William K. Daugherty officiating. Burial will be at Fairview cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
She was born in Roswell, N.M., and was a 70-year resident of Pecos. She was Presbyterian.
SURVIVORS: Son, William W. Dean III of Ruidoso, N.M.; daughter, Katherine "Katchie" Dean Crews of Pecos; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Edith Stone
LINDEN — Edith Clark Stone, 85, of Linden, a homemaker, died Saturday, Oct. 23, 1999, at Sunbridge Nursing Home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Shiloh Methodist Church with the Rev. D.C. "Bo" Mangum Jr. officiating.
Burial will be at Shiloh cemetery. Arrangements by Redder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home Inc.
She was born in Linden. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Thomas Stone and James Stone, both of Linden; daughter, Nancy Evans of Dallas; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

C.H. Jackson
ANDREWS — C.H. "Jacks" Jackson, 87, of Andrews died Sunday, Oct. 31, 1999 at his residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Andrews with the Rev. H. A. Hanks officiating. Burial will follow in Andrews Old cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
He was born in Eastland and was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Lucille Jackson of Andrews; son, Billy Jackson of Norfolk, Va.; daughter, Juavana Stark of Albuquerque, N.M.; sister, Chrystall Falls of Ranger; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Thomas Loftin
ODESSA — Thomas Jerome Loftin, 68, of Odessa died Saturday, Oct. 30, 1999, at his residence.
Graveside services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Sunray and was a U.S. Army veteran.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Sue Loftin of Odessa; sons, Jerry Loftin and Roger Loftin of Odessa; brothers, Norman Loftin of Corona, Calif., and Darryl Loftin of Sacramento, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Perry Poe
TEMPLE — Perry Glynn Poe, 52, of Temple, died Thursday, Oct. 28, 1999, in Temple.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. today at Rose Hill cemetery in Cleburne with the Revs. Kerry Sharpe and John Poe officiating. Arrangements by Lawson Funeral Home.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Margie Poe of Joshua; daughters, Esther Jones of Brownsboro, Danna Faye Poe of Marlin; son, Rodney Poe of Joshua; sisters, Laverne Derebury of Grimeland, N.C., Beverly Nickels of Joshua, Connie Hardin of Meridian; brothers, Bobby Poe of Odessa, Rev. L.G. Poe of Vernon; and six grandchildren.

ODESSA — Lee Redman, 78, of Odessa, died Friday, Oct. 29, 1999, in a local hospital.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Thorpe officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Checotah, Okla. and was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Edith Redman of Odessa; sons, Larry Redman and Richard Redman, both of Odessa; brother, Orbie Redman of Odessa; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Dewey Haven
ODESSA — Dewey Haven, 73, of Odessa, a welder and a mechanic, died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Ector County cemetery with the Rev. Robert Flecher officiating. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
He was born in Charleston, Miss., and moved to Odessa in 1968 from Houston.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Glenda Havens of Odessa; sons, James Havens and Edward Havens, both of Odessa; and one grandchild.
