ODESSA — Rhea Dean Sanderson Bowman, 60, of Shreveport, La., died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999, at her residence.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Ada, Okla.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Ron Bowman of Shreveport, La.; son, Graham Bowman of Shreveport, La.; daughters, Cynthia Kuykendall of Shreveport, La., Lindsey Bowman of Albuquerque, N.M., and Courtney Bowman of Stanford, Calif.; mother, Mary Ellen Dean Cosby of Shreveport, La.; and two grandchildren.

Maria Estrada
PRESIDIO — Maria Alicia Carrasco Estrada, 69, of Presidio, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999, in an El Paso hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Santa Teresa de Jesus Catholic Church. Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. today at Santa Teresa de Jesus Catholic Church. Burial will be at Desert Hills cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Presidio and was a lifelong resident. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Alfredo Estrada and Ricardo Estrada, both of Presidio, Ismael Estrada of Andrews, and Jose Alfredo Estrada and Ricardo Estrada, both of El Paso; daughter, Camelia Ibarra of El Paso; brothers, Manuel Carrasco of Uvalde, Jose Carrasco Jr. of Odessa and Arnaldo Carrasco of El Paso; sisters, Rosa Brown of Presidio, Gloria Leos of El Paso, Dolores Camp and Elsie Carrasco, both of California, Bernarda Mendoza of El Paso, Carmen Alvarado of Lake Tahoe, Nev., Eva Aguilar of Van Horn; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Raul Madrid
ODESSA — Raul Alvidrez "Little Bolo" Madrid, 46, of Windsor, Calif., died Saturday, Nov. 6, 1999, in Windsor, Calif.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Arrangements by Eggen and Lance Mortuary in Santa Rosa, Calif.
He was born in Colorado City.
SURVIVORS: Son, Manuel Madrid of Odessa; daughters, Christian Rios, Valarie Madrid and Crystal Madrid, all of Odessa; brothers, Gilbert Madrid of Odessa, Antonio Madrid, Felix Madrid, Felipe Madrid, Bill Ramos and Danny Ramos, all of Windsor, Calif., and Abel Ramos of San Leandro, Calif.; sisters, Angie Ortiz of Grants Pass, Ore., and Nancy Canretero of Santa Rosa, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Louise Peeples
FORT STOCKTON — Louise G. Peeples, 86, of Fort Stockton, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999, in Fort Stockton.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Larry Krueger officiating. Burial will be at Water Valley cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
She was born in Water Valley and had lived in Fort Stockton since 1965. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Carlene Stacy of Fort Stockton; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Donald Peterson
MARFA — Donald J. Peterson, 56, of Marfa, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999, in an Alpine hospital.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Alpine with Gerald Parson officiating. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Melrose, Minn., and moved to Marfa in 1996. He was a Jehovah’s Witness.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Gloria Peterson of Marfa; son, Keith Peterson of Osseo, Minn.; daughters, Elizabeth Peterson of Big Lake, Minn., and Jennifer Peterson of Andover, Minn.; mother, Lucille Moritz of Sauk Centre, Minn.; sister, Kay Peterson of Minneapolis Minn.; brothers, Larry Peterson of Plymouth, Minn., and Dean Moritz of Minneapolis, Minn.

Margaret Stalik
ODESSA — Margaret Isabell Hoggatt Stalik, 86, of Odessa, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999, at New Horizons Nursing Home.
Services will be 3 p.m. today at Central Baptist Church with the Revs. David Johnson and Vondel Drinkard officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Perry, Okla., and moved to Odessa in 1952. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Joseph Thomas Stalik of Odessa; daughter, Nellie Coker Beverly of Dayton; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Brooksie Stephens
ANDREWS — Brooksie Stephens, 71, of Andrews, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999, at Permian General Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Northcrest Baptist Church with the Rev. Roger Barnes officiating. Burial will be at Andrews Old cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Roscoe and moved to Andrews in 1965 from Odessa. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, B.B. Stephens of Andrews; sons, Barry Stephens of Decatur and Brett Stephens of Andrews; daughter, Beckie Stephens of Monahans; mother, Ozie Mae Matthews of Odessa; sister, Mary Thomas and Jean Jones, both of Odessa; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Willie Ila Terry
ODESSA — Willie Ila Terry, 92, of Odessa, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Gardens.
She was born in Scurry County and moved to Odessa in 1940. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Wayne Terry of Odessa; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Gloria Trevino
KERMIT — Gloria Ofelia Trevino, 20, of Kermit, a packer, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999, at Ward Memorial Hospital in Monahans.
Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. John Lucido officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Friday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Home Chapel.
She was born in Andrews and was a resident of Kermit for 5 years. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Ruben Trevino and Joshua Trevino, both of Kermit; mother, Ofelia Ortiz of Kermit; stepfather, Juan Sanchez of Kermit; brothers, Alexander Trevino of Kermit and Jeremy Don Trevino of Wisconsin; sister, Jasmine Sanchez of Kermit; grandparents, Rosa and Manuel Mendina of Andrews.

ODESSA — Jose Luis Ortiz, 42, of Odessa, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999, at his residence.
Services are pending with Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.

JACKSONVILLE — C. Nathan Acker, 55, of Odessa, a welfare fraud investigator, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1999, at his residence.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Sellars officiating. Burial will be at Providence cemetery. Arrangements by Thompson Funeral Home.
He was born in Jacksonville and has been a resident of Odessa for two years. He was an Air Force veteran. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Linda Acker, of Odessa; son, C. Nathan Acker Jr., of Gallatin; daughters, Paula Lusk of Rusk and Deborah Young of Odessa; mother, Ruby Acker of Jacksonville; brothers, Harold Acker and Kenneth Acker, both of Jacksonville; and four grandchildren.
