MULESHOE — Bonnie Jo Blackstone, 76, substitute teacher and officer manager, of Enochs died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2002, in Odessa.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Muleshoe Church of Christ with Joey Pierce officiating. Burial will be at Enochs cemetery in Enochs. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home of Muleshoe.
She was born in Prairie Dell and moved to Enochs in 1990 from Morton. She was a member of the Church of Christ .
SURVIVORS: Husband, Harvey Blackstone of Enochs; sons, Dale Blackstone of Tyler, Robby Blackstone of Arlington and Thomas Blackstone of Odessa; daughters, Katie McDonald of Pampa, Ann Johnson and Shanna Blackstone, both of Arlington, and Nancy Peace of Friona; brothers, Tommy Brown of Lynnwood, Calif., Ira Brown and Herman Brown, both of Morton, and Leonard Brown of Vallejo, Calif.; sisters, Opal Hair of Duncanville, Minnie Mae Fulton of Portales, N.M., Berta Abbe of Levelland, Hallie Bennett of Lake Whitney and Nell Coats of Midland; 19 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

TOYAH — Paul Budlong, 44, of Toyah, a mechanic, died Tuesday Jan. 1, 2002.
Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Toyah cemetery with the Rev. J.R. Wooten officiating. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.
He was born in Providence, R.I. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Paula Smith of Scottsdale, Ariz.; brothers, Mitch Budlong of Toyah, Mike Barchie of Providence, R.I., Charlie Budlong of Narragansett, R.I. and John Budlong of Pennolas Park, Fla.; sisters, Linda Wilis of Morrero, LA. and Melody Strokes of Big Spring.

Elsie Davis
KERMIT — Elsie Davis, 82, of Kermit, died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2001, at her home.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Home.
She was a 25-year resident of Kermit.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Dolly Koesis of Gallup, N.M.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

HOBBS, N.M. — Doris J. Harding, 57, of Hobbs, N.M., a homemaker, died Monday, Dec 31, 2001, at Lea Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Platte, S.D.

Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. today at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Floro Hinacay officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home.
She was born in Vado de Piedra Ojinaga Chihuahua, Mexico. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Gilberto Herrera of Portales, N.M.; sons, Jesus Manuel Herrera of Odessa, Gilberto Herrera Jr. of Albuquerque N.M. and Richard Herrera of Lubbock; daughter, Socorro Herrera Davila of Manhattan, Kan.; brothers, Felipe Jaquez Sr. Of Chihuahua, Mexico and Candelario Jaquez of Phoenix, Ariz.; sisters, Alvina Jaquez Rey of Presidio, Maria Jaquez Duran of Midland, Guadalupe Carrasco of Odessa, Aurora Baeza, Elvira Baeza and Juana Venegas, all of Chihuahua, Mexico; and nine grandchildren.

ODESSA — Trinidad Hignojos, 72, of Odessa, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.

He was a lifetime resident of Odessa. He was Christian.

He was born in Saratoga. He was Baptist.
