ODESSA - Paul Rupert Matejowsky, 71, of Odessa died Friday, March 15, 2002, at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today at Rose Hill cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Arrangements by Memorial Services.
He was born in Pecos and was a longtime resident of Odessa. He was Baptist.
SURVIVOR: Brother, David Matejowsky of Bastrop.

Rosalie Moffett
WEST PLAINS, Mo. - Rosalie Ellen Moffett, 71, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Wednesday, March 20, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at West Howell Memorial Park. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Freemont, Mo., and moved to Odessa in 1990.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Ora Moffett of Odessa; sons, Malvin Lee Moffett of Columbus, Ga., and Charles Louis Moffett of Odessa; daughters, Linda Ellen Squires of West Plains, Mo., Clara Catherine Baltz of St. Louis and Elizabeth Ann Scaggs of San Angelo; brothers, Ronald Holland of Willow Springs, Mo., Charles Holland of Pomona, Mo., Robert Holland of Titusville, Fla., and Pete Holland of Jonesboro, Ark.; sisters, Joyce Burge of West Plains and Noel Holland of Willow Springs; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Annie Moore
SEMINOLE - Annie Bell Moore, 94, of Seminole, a homemaker, died Tuesday, March 19, 2002, at Memorial Health Care Center in Seminole.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Westside Church of Christ with David Williams officiating. Burial will be at the Seagraves cemetery in Seagraves. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.
She was born in Dahlonega, Ga., and moved to Seminole 58 years ago from Brownfield. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Joe Moore of Liberal, Kan., and Marvin “Tiny” Moore of Seminole; daughters, Laverne Stanfield of Wellman and Louise Turner of Lubbock; brothers, J.B. Blackwell of Brownfield, Earl Blackwell of Tempton, Willie Blackwell of Mountain View, Ark., and Jessie Blackwell of Iowa; sisters, Essie Blackwell of Iowa, Annie Bell Blackwell of Arkansas and Nancy Grandy of Marble Falls; 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.

Jerry Walters
ODESSA - Jerry C. Walters, 42, of Odessa, an employee of Halliburton Services, died Saturday, March 16, 2002, in Rocksprings.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clydel Chapman officiating. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today at Fairmount cemetery in San Angelo. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Iraan. He was an Air Force veteran.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Dara Dawn Walters of Naples, Fla.; brother, James A. Walters III of North Hollywood, Calif.; and sisters, Nedra McDonald of Odessa and Martha Barber of Anchorage, Alaska.

Jose Galindo
ODESSA - Jose Galindo, 36, of Odessa died Wednesday, March 20, 2002, in Odessa.
Services are pending with Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.

Marcus Coker
KERMIT - Marcus E. "Coke" Coker, 84, a retired operator for El Paso Natural Gas Co., died Tuesday, Dec. 29, 1998, at Winkler County Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Kermit cemetery with the Rev. Johnny Lee Jr. officiating. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel Inc.
He was born in Brookhaven, Miss., and was a 46-year resident of Kermit. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Louise "Sis" Coker of Kermit; daughter, Louise Etheredge of Midland; brothers, Ned Coker of Lauren, Miss., and Pearcy Coker of Hennaker, N.H.; sisters, Benie Mae Whittington of Greenville, Miss., and Mildred Wallace of Gilbertsville, Ken.; and two grandchildren.

Billie Friberg
MIDLAND - Billie Dale Wingrove Friberg, 70, of Midland died Monday, Dec. 28, 1998, at her residence.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Fairview cemetery with the Rev. Maura Garry officiating. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home.
She was born in Perry, Okla.
SURVIVORS: Husband, John Floyd Friberg Jr. of Midland; step-sister, Marna W. Todisco of Bridgeport; daughters, Kathie B. Goode of Austin and Bobbie S. Brackbill and Mary B. Hargis, both of Houston; step-daughter, Charlotte F. Morris of Aurora, Colo.; step-son, John F. Friberg III of Marble Falls; and eight grandchildren.

ODESSA - Ricardo Galindo of Odessa, 58, an insulator, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 1998, in Houston.
Services will be at a later date in Ojinaga, Mexico. Local arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.
He was born in Ojinaga, Mexico.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Wesland Galindo of Denver City and Dario Salazar and Willie Salazar, both of Oklahoma; brothers, Socorro Galindo, Armando Galindo and Ramon Galindo, all of Ojinaga, Jesus Manuel Galindo of Presidio, Pedro Galindo of Odessa and Humberto Galindo of Eunice, N.M.; sisters, Armida Jordan of Persidio, Maria Galindo of Ojinaga, Zulema Gonzalez of Clovis, N.M., Dulces Viscaino and Guadalupe Diaz, both of Portales, N.M., and Eva Zaragoza of Odessa; and one grandchild.

ODESSA - Maurine Hicks, 77, of Odessa, a retired bookkeeper, died Thursday, Dec. 24, 1998, at her residence.
Services were Tuesday, Dec. 29, 1998, in the chapel of Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors with Miles Goodpasture officiating. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
She was born in Anna and came to Odessa in 1953 from Oklahoma.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Douglas Hicks of Odessa; sons, James Douglas Hicks and Jenkins Michael Hicks, both of Odessa; sister, Jimmy Lou Fought of Kingston, Okla.; step-mother, Dovie Mae Edelen of Kingston, Okla.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mary Pettit
COMANCHE - Mary Ash Tyler Pettit, 79, of Dublin, Texas, a retired school teacher, died Friday, Dec. 25, 1998, at Peoples Nursing Center in Dublin.
Services were Monday, Dec. 28, 1998, at the Comanche Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Calcote officiating. Burial was in Union cemetery. Arrangements by Comanche Funeral Home.
She was born in Athens.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Kirk Pettit of Dublin; son, Louis Ray Tyler of Odessa; daughter, Marian Ferguson of Houston; step-sons, Kyle Pettit of Arlington and Paul Alan Pettit of Stephenville; step-daughter, Louann Pettit of Corpus Christi; brother, John Ash of San Antonio; four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Surfronia Rogers
ODESSA - Surfronia Rogers, 76, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Saturday, Dec. 26, 1998, in Odessa.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Texas & Clements Church of Christ with Billie Lemons officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.
She was born in Arcola, Miss., and came to Odessa 37 years ago. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Willie Rogers, Tommy Rogers and D.L. Rogers, all of Chicago, and Ernest Rogers, O’Neill Roger and Curtis Rogers, all of Odessa; step-son, Jerry Thomas of Forrest City, Ark.; daughters, Earnestine James Bradford of Odessa and Shirley Jones of Cumberland, Miss.; sisters, Susie Gipson of Champange, Ill., and Mozielee Roberson of Los Angeles; and 24 grandchildren.

Thelma Williams
ODESSA - Thelma Elizabeth Coon Williams, 79, of Odessa, retired manager for the V.F.W., died Monday, Dec. 28, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Hubbard-Kelly Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Zielger officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. today at Memorial cemetery in Morton. Local arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Cash and came to Odessa in 1958 from Muleshoe. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Bobby Williams and Larry Williams, both of Odessa, Clifford Williams of Kemp, Rick Williams of Kerrville, Troy Williams of New Caney, Leo Williams of Kingwood and Eddie Williams of Azle; 21 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Austyn Wyatt Jordan
ODESSA - Austyn Wyatt Jordan was 10 days old when he departed this world and the loving arms of his parents to the arms of our dear Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 14, 2002.
Graveside services are set for 3 p.m. today, March 16, 2002, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Lynn Money officiating.
Austyn was born in Odessa and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Austyn is survived by his parents, Archie and Jessica Jordan of Odessa; three loving brothers, Charley Jordan, Nathaniel Jordan and G.W. Jordan, all of Odessa; three very loving and caring sisters, Jennifer Salter of Havelock, N.C., Sarah Jordan and Totti Stringer, both of Odessa; a wonderful brother-in-law, J.C. Salter of Havelock, N.C.; a very loving and caring sister-in-law, Tracey Jordan of Odessa; grandparents, Sharon and John Slocumb of Magnolia, Rilda Rector of Valleyview and Charles and Jean Teague of Midland; great-grandparents, G.W. and Jean Wilkerson of Odessa and Charles Teague Sr. of Snyder; uncle and aunt, Lynn and Cookie Blair of Valleyview; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Austyn, you will be missed greatly. Poppa, Momma and all of your family are so thankful for the 10 days we were given. You are such a blessed angel.
