MONAHANS - Yvonne Laurence Talley, 74, a homemaker, of Monahans died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 1997, in Monahans.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Restlawn cemetery in El Paso. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.

She was born in Thrall.

SURVIVORS: Son, Thomas Edward Talley of Moscow Mills, Md.; daughter, Dorothy 'Dottie' Ann Sprouse of Monahans; sister, Naydene Anderson of Oklahoma; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Paul Adams

ODESSA - Paul Dee Adams, 68, of Odessa, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 1997, in Odessa.

Funeral arrangements are pending with Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

Alejandro Gavaldon

ODESSA - Alejandro Gavaldon, 39, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 1997, at his residence.

Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial will be at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home/Angeles Memorial Chapel.

He was born in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico, and was a resident of Odessa. SURVIVORS: Wife, Soila Gavaldon of Odessa; sons, Alejandro Gavaldon Jr., Gerardo Gavaldon, Paulino Armando Gavaldon, Eric Gavaldon and Jesus Alberto Gavaldon, all of Odessa; daughters, Abigail Gavaldon and Maribel Gavaldon, both of Odessa; mother, Dolores Hernandez of Ojinaga, Mexico; brothers, Teofilo Gavaldon of Chihuahua, Mexico, Pedro Gavaldon of Denver City and Martin Gavaldon of Ojinaga, Mexico; and sisters, Dolores Salgado and Inez Sales, both of Odessa and Delia Caballero of Ojinaga, Mexico.

V.L. Stevens

ODESSA - V.L. Stevens, 75, a retired oil field mechanic, died Monday, Oct. 27, 1997, at his residence.

No services will be held. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home. He was born in Knoxville, Tenn., and was a resident of Odessa. He was an Army veteran.

SURVIVORS: Daughters, Rachel Stevens of Bryan and Becky Harper of Austin; brothers, Joseph Stephens of San Diego and Dudley Stevens of Houston; and two grandchildren.

Andrew Valles

ODESSA - Andrew M. Valles, 2-month-old infant son of Bertha Molinar and Gilbert Valles of Odessa, died Monday, Oct. 27, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. today at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Francis Frey officiating. Arrangements by Martinez Funeral Home.

He was born Aug. 9, 1997, in Odessa.

SURVIVORS: Parents; sister, Valerie Valles of Odessa; grandfather, Dolores Molinar of Andrews; and grandmothers, Lydia Molinar of Andrews; and Maria Valles of Andrews.

Johnnie White

MONAHANS - Johnnie Rhea White, 65, a retired homemaker, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 1997, at Monahans Senior Health Center.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Harkey Funeral Home. Burial will be at Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.

She was born in Whitney and was a longtime resident of Monahans. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

SURVIVORS: Son, Bobby Collins of Odessa; daughter Susan Bryan of Monahans; mother, Euna Davidson of Monahans; brother, Larry Heath of Houston; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

C.L. Billingsley

SEMINOLE - C.L. Billingsley, 85, a farmer, of Seminole died Thursday, Oct. 30, 1997, at Memorial Hospital in Seminole after a lengthy illness.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Gaines County cemetery with Don Fleming officiating. Arrangements by Boyer Funeral Home.

He was born in Sparenburg and moved to Seminole from Plains in 1968. He was a member of Westside Church of Christ.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Kathryn Billingsley of Seminole; sons, Gary Billingsley of Hereford, Neil Billingsley of Plainview; brother, John Billingsley of Odenell; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A.B. Lightfoot

A.B. 'Augustus' Lightfoot, 80, a pastor and evangelist, of Conroe died Thursday, Oct. 30, 1997, in Conroe.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mims Baptist Church with the Rev. Gene Kendrick officiating. Entombment will be in Mausoleum of the Cross at Conroe Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Cashner Funeral Home.

He was born in Santa Anna and was a member of Mims Baptist Church.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Rose Lightfoot of Conroe; sons, Stanley Lightfoot of Oklahoma City, Richard Lightfoot of Newberg, Ore.; stepson, Ernest Hunter of Bancroft, W. Va.; sister, Louise Oden of Waco; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Lois Mabry

IRAAN - Lois Mabry, 76, a retired registered nurse, of Iraan died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 1997, at her residence.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Wright officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Mount Pleasant cemetery in Columbia, La. Arrangements by Richard W. Box Funeral Homes.

She was born in Coleman and moved to Iraan in 1954. She was a member of First Baptist Church and Mildred Parker Garden Club.

SURVIVORS: Daughters, Dennice Holley and Lynn Crawford, both of Odessa; sons, Williams Mabry Jr. of Amarillo, Danny Mabry of Mesquite and Sidnet Mabry of Mertzon; sisters, Ima Lee Press of LaPorte and Dorothy Monthy of Livingston; brother, Steve Yancy of Reklaw; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

William McKay

KERMIT - William 'Bill' McKay, 77, a retire jeweler, of Donna died Friday, Oct. 24, 1997, in Union, Mo.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Christian Church with Gene Brown officiating. Burial will be at Kermit cemetery. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Home.

He was born in Turkey, Texas, and was an Army veteran. He was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Maria McKay of Kermit; sons, Malcolm McKay of Boulder, Colo. and Carl McKay of San Antonio; daughter, Shirley McKay Wade of Lubbock; brothers, Howard McKay, Jimmie McKay and Lee McKay, all of Kermit, and Boyd McKay of Martin, Tenn.; sisters, Alline McKay of Kermit and Ruby Mae Woods of QuitaQue.

Clarise Qualls

OPP, ALA. - Clarise Ethel Qualls, 75, a machine operator, of Opp, Ala., died Monday, Oct. 13, 1997, at Mizell Memorial Hospital.

Mass was celebrated at 2 p.m. Oct. 15 at Westview Assembly of God with Silvia Carter officiating. Burial was at Blue Springs cemetery. Arrangements by Rainer Funeral Home.

She was born in Covington, Colo., and was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

SURVIVORS: Daughters, Sylvia Carter of Opp and Jeanie Hamil of Gardendale; brother, Sheldon McCurley of Opp; sisters, Jewel Dyer of Plant City, Fla.; and Euniva Adams, Wynell Jowers and Quida Johnson, all of Opp; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Brad Soles

BIG SPRING - Brad Soles, 20, driller for an oil company, of Midland, died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 1997, in Midland.

Graveside services will be at Trinity Memorial Park with the Rev. Bill Ballard officiating. Arrangements by Myers & Smith Funeral Home and Chapel.

He was born in Snyder, and had been a resident of Midland for 18 months after moving from Wickett.

SURVIVORS: Father and stepmother, Landon and Jerri Soles of Monahans; mother and stepmother, Winnie and Stormy Choate of Goldsboro, N.C.; sisters, Sabrina Soles and Tanya Soles, both of Atlanta, Ga.; stepbrothers, Lee Mitchell of Midland and Ray Mitchell of Atlanta, Ga.; stepsister, Sabrina Reagan of Monahans; grandparents, Myrl Soles of Big Spring, and Art and Nan Burer of Scherrtz.
