Aurora Lola Hernandez Hinojos
ODESSA — Aurora (Lola) Hernandez Hinojos, 73 years of age, of Odessa passed away on May 26, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. She was born Feb. 21, 1929, in Big Spring to Manuel and Andrea Hernandez.
On March 8, 1950, in Presidio, she united in marriage to Jesus Amancio Hinojos Sr. To this unification was born four children.
Mrs. Hinojos was a housewife and a Catholic.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and is survived by her husband, Jesus A. Hinojos Sr. of Odessa; son, Jesse H. Hinojos Jr. and wife Dolores of Midland; daughters, Irma Y. Hinojos of Odessa, Romelia H. Martinez and husband Ruben of Odessa and Elva H. Hernandez and husband Johnny of Odessa; brother, Ruben Hernandez and wife Francis of Presidio; sister, Virginia Hernandez of Presidio; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. tonight at the Odessa Funeral Chapel. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, May 29, 2002, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Gilbert Rodriguez officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel Hinojos, Jeffrey Hinojos, Eric Hinojos, Benjamin Martinez, Rolando Hernandez, Steve Greenhill, Salvador Hinojos Jr. and Larry Molinar.
Services by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.

MARATHON - Juan Acosta Aguilar, 86, of Marathon, a retired railroad worker, died Tuesday, March 26, 2002, in Marathon.
Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Rick Ruiz officiating. Burial was at the Marathon cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Fort Stockton. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Maria Luisa Aguilar of Marathon; sons, Gregorio Aguilar of San Angelo, Domingo Aguilar, Anselmo Aguilar, Maximiano Lujan and Eliseo Lujan, all of Marathon; daughters, Rufina Delion and Hipolita Valenzuela, both of Fort Stockton, Gregoria Luna of Carlsbad, N.M., Vita Garcia of Crane and Marcelina Grano of Marathon; brother, Pablo Aguilar of Fort Davis; 28 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

Robert Barrera
ODESSA - Robert H. Barrera, 72, of Odessa, a retired maintenance man, died Thursday, March 28, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with the Rev. Pablo Tiong officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Sunday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Marfa and moved to Odessa two years ago from Van Horn. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Elena Barrera of Odessa; sons, Victor Barrera of Odessa and Juan Marcos Barrera of El Paso; daughters, Cynthia Solis of Van Horn, Annabelle Mendez of Odessa and Lourdes Resendez of Brady; brother, Ricardo Barrera of El Paso; sister, Francis Cortez of Sun City, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Catrina Hawkins
MIDLAND - Catrina Renee Hawkins, 28, of Midland, a homemaker, died Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center in Midland.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Resthaven Memorial Park with Mike Vestal officiating. Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Home.
She was born in Odessa.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Darrell Hawkins of Midland; daughter, Tawni Gutierrez of Houston; son, Shelby Hawkins of Midland; parents, Alice and James Calder of Omaha; brothers, Seth Burchfield of Odessa and Reed Calder of Omaha; and sister, Shaina Calder of Omaha.

Edith Heron
ODESSA - Edith June Heron, 90, of Fort Stockton, a retired registered nurse, died Thursday, March 28, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Memorial services will be at a later date. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Rotan.
SURVIVORS: Nieces, Jean Frink of Tulsa, Okla., and June Nowlin of Fort Stockton.

Dorothy Rabon
FORT STOCKTON - Dorothy Lee Rabon, 76, of Fort Stockton, a retired recording clerk for an abstract office, died Thursday, March 28, 2002, in Fort Stockton.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Nathan McBride officiating. Burial will be at East Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
She was born in Unionville, Mo., and was a resident of Fort Stockton since 1956. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, John L. Rabon of Seguin; daughter, Jeanie Hendricks of San Angelo; sisters, Betty Jo Castegliano of Prescott, Ariz., Barbara Dewey of Fairbury, Neb., and Jackie Grelle of Beatrice, Neb.; brother, Jim Hunt of Hebrow, Neb.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was born in Charlotte, N.C., and was a resident of Monahans since 1980. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
