Edna Mae Reue Moeller was born January 19, 1928 in Freeport, Texas to Robert Collins and Bernice Williams Collins. She departed for heaven on August 5, 2012. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul ’s Episcopal Church in Freeport. She was married to Alfred Reue on December 11, 1949 at St. Paul ’s Episcopal Church.
Survivors include sons Judge Matthew Reue, Dr. David Reue and wife Susan of Austin and former daughter in-law, Tina Reue Webb. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and include Rachel Reue, Andrew Reue, Claire Reue, Colin Reue, Matt and Amy Pieper, Melanie and Donny Roberts, Aaron Moeller, Amanda Moeller and numerous great-grandchildren who she loved and adored. Also surviving are brother in-law Gale Evans of Freeport and many nieces and nephews. She was preceeded in death by her parents, her first husband Alfred, and recently, her husband Waldo, sister Margaret Collins Evans, brother Robert Collins, brother Ralph Collins, nephew Johnny Stokes, niece Robbyn Collins and great nephew Shane Sandel.
Funeral services for Edna will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Salem Lutheran Church of Salem with Pastor Charles Parnell and Toby Burk officiating. Burial will follow at St. John’s Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill.
Funeral arrangements for Edna Mae Reue Moeller are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main.

Kathy (Goeke) Buck, 62, of Burton passed away Friday, August 3, 2012 in Scott & White Hospital-Brenham.
Survivors include: her loving husband of forty years, Curtis Buck; mother, Angelie Goeke; son, Landon Buck and special friend Caris Hoffpauir; daughter and son-in-law Marissa and Cliff Rudloff; grandchildren Dawson Rudloff and Hailey Rudloff; brother and sister-in-law Charles and Vickie Goeke; sister-in-law, Lucille Dabbs; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Evelyn Buck; along with numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren and cherished friends.
Visitation with the Buck family will be Monday, August 6th from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. in Brenham Memorial Chapel. Funeral service for Kathy Buck will be Tuesday, August 7th at 10 a.m. in First United Methodist Church of Brenham with Rev. Dale Chance and Rev. Kay Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery.

Karel Kay Weinert, 68. of Round Top, died August 3, 2012 in Hospice Austin Christopher House in Austin, Tx. She is the wife of Milroy Weinert. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday August 7, 2012 at Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Sid Roden officiating. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family and friends will be held Monday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
Survivors are her husband Milroy Weinert of Round Top, daughters and sons-in-law Shelly and Daniel Pietsch of LaGrange, Sherry and Robert Whitmarsh of Concord, California, grandchildren; Elyse and Ariana Whitmarsh, Kalie and Kyla Pietsch. Karel was preceded in death by her parents, sister; Marilyn Faye Hinze, mother in-law and father in-law; Alvin and Flora Weinert, sister in-law Bernice Hackmack.
Memorials may be given to Zion Lutheran Church or Hospice Austin Christopher House, 4107 Spicewood Spring Road, Suite 100, Austin, Tx. 78759.

Kermit Ray Hugo, 79, husband of Josephine Hugo, died May 5, 2012 in Scott and White Hospital in Brenham. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Memorial Oaks Chapel, with burial to follow in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Gay Hill. Pastor Virgil Pecht will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6:30 until 8:30 at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
Survivors include his wife, Josephine Hugo of Brenham; a daughter, Connie Lynn Hugo of Brenham; son, John Hugo of Bryan; and step-daughter, Jan Foltermann, of Brenham; grandson, Randy Ray David Hugo; sisters-in-law, Esther Neumann and Letha Mae Richter of Brenham; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Melvin and Sharon Richter of Houston; nieces and nephews: Wade Neumann, Tiffany Van, Vicki Wehmeyer, Sharon Klinker, and Cindy Hohlt, as well as other relatives throughout the state. Preceding him in death was his father, Otto Hugo, brother, Glenwood Hugo; mother, Emma Hugo, wife Ruth Hugo; brothers-in-law Fritz Neumann and John J. W. Richter.
Funeral arrangements for Kermit Hugo are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main, Brenham.

Arlene Quebe Rost, age 63 of Burton and the widow of Lynwood A. Rost, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Scott and White Hospital-Brenham.
Arlene Rost’s survivors include goddaughters Erin ChereTisdel of Houston; Leigh Ann Seilheimer and husband Adam of Brenham, Connie Smith and husband Tom of Houston and cousins.
Visitation will be from 6 o’clock until 8 o’clock tonight, Wednesday, May 2nd in Brenham Memorial Chapel. Funeral services for Arlene Rost will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 3 in Brenham Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery. Memorials may be given to your favorite charity.

Marie (Weerts) Thomas was born in Magnet, Texas on October 13, 1922. She died at her daughter’s home in Brenham on Saturday, April 28, 2012.
Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law; Perry L. (Nicky) and Betty Thomas; and daughter Linda Kay Thomas of Brenham, grandchildren: Mae and Mike Hintzel of Bellville; Vicki (DeDee) and Gene Swonke of Brenham; Shannon Lee Thomas of Franklin, Tenn. Great-grandchildren: Travis Hintzel, David Hintzel; Kayla, Kelsey, Kendall and Kolton Swonke; and James H. Thomas. Great-great grandson; Perry Lynch Hintzel. A beloved Godchild Mitzi King. Nephews; Gene (Judy) Weerts of Spring; Jack Griffin of Houston. Devoted cousin Harvey (Floya Ann) Merten and caring neighbors Glenwood Sr. and Betty Vierus, and Mack and Betty Morris.
Services for Marie Thomas are Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Salem Lutheran Church with Pastor Charles Parnell officiating, burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery. Visitation with the family and friends will be Monday April 30, form 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Memorials may be given to Salem Lutheran Church or American Diabetes Assn.

Almeida Hinze, 92, of Brenham, the widow of Herbert Hinze, died April 25, 2012 in Bluebonnet Hills Care Center in Brenham.
Funeral services for Almeida Hinze will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 28 at St. Paul ’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brenham with Pastors Phil Fenton and Kinndlee Lund officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham. Visitation for Almeida Hinze will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 27 at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
Mrs. Hinze is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Ruth and Edward Schulte, May Dell Kuhlmann and Dorothy Hahn; grandchildren, Deborah and Roger Gaskamp, Cynthia and Glenn Flentge, Kevin Schulte and Keith and Patricia Kuhlmann; great-grandchildren, Brent Gaskamp, Leticia Gaskamp, Shelia and Daniel Lee, Craig Flentge, Brad Flentge, Chelsea Kuhlmann and Megan Schulte; three step great-great-granddaughters; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, RosaLee Sommerfield, Jo Addicks and Pablo Marin.

Gary Paul Truxillo, Sr., 51, of Brenham, died April 22, 2012, at home surrounded by his family. He peacefully drifted off to be with the Lord.
Funeral services for Gary Truxillo, Sr. will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 26 at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Ann Truxillo of Brenham; father and stepmother, Harold Sr. and Becky Truxillo of Elton, LA ; son, Gary Paul Truxillo, Jr. of Brenham; daughters and sons-in-law, Laurie Ann Truxillo of Brenham, Jennifer Lynn and Andy Blanchard of Chauvin, LA and Linda Marie and Cole Stonestreet of Brenham; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Leona Truxillo, Wayne and Charlotte Truxillo, Billy and Donelle Truxillo and Raymond and Kelly Truxillo; sister, Lynn Conn; and grandchildren, Courney Daigle, Thomas Truxillo, Julia Truxillo and Hailey and Samantha Blanchard.

Dolores Wiesepape, 77, of Bellville, the widow of Edsel Wiesepape, died April 23, 2012 in Colonial Belle Nursing Home in Bellville.
The funeral service for Dolores Wiesepape will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 25 at Salem Lutheran Church of Salem with Pastor Charles Parnell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation with the Wiesepape family will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 24 at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Craig and Sandy Wiesepape of Brenham, David Wiesepape of Brenham and Mike and Kathy Wiesepape of Bellville; daughter and son-in-law, Leslie and Calvin Ryan of League City; son-in-law, Richard Waligura of New Ulm; brothers and sisters-in-law, Floyd and Shirley Finke of Navasota, Elroy and Linda Finke of Dallas, Cotton and Jeannie Finke of Brenham and Weldon and Sherry Finke of Brenham; sisters, Ornell Stores, Laverne Kelly and Shirley Finke, all of Brenham; and grandchildren, Christina, Shelby and Courtney Wiesepape, Breeanna, Jacob and Kayli Ryan and Shane Wiesepape.

Logan Wayne Jankowski passed peacefully in the arms of his loving parents on April 21, 2012. Logan was born on April 20, 2012 at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston.
Logan Jankowski is survived by his parents, Cliff and Audrea Jankowski of Chappell Hill; paternal grandparents, Danny Sr. and Elaine Jankowski of Chappell Hill; maternal grandparents, Alfred Jr. and Marlene Zettel of Industry; uncles and aunts, Danny Jr. and Heather Jankowski of Cypress, Cody Jankowski of Chappell Hill and special friend Kristen Berger, Billy and Sondra Brau, of Industry; Troy and Dana Schomburg of Shelby; and cousins, Weston Jankowski, Gathon and Ryland Brau and Lindsay and Dalton Schomburg; along with numerous other family and friends.
A graveside service for Logan Jankowski will be held at Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.

Reuben Carl Kelm, 88 of Brenham, passed away at his Brenham residence on Thursday, April 19, 2012.
Reuben served his country during World War II in the Army Air Force and for many years he was owner/operator of Kelm’s Paint and Body Shop.
Reuben Kelm is survived by: wife and caregiver Mary Kelm, daughter and son-in-law Shirley and Richard McCord of Brenham; daughter-in-law Charlene Bates Kelm of Brenham; stepdaughter and son-in-law Jeanette and Wayne Sunderhuse of Brenham; grandchildren Sean McCord of Katy, Jentri and Dustin Smith of Cypress, Larissa and Eric Dieterich of Brenham, Eric and Amy Kelm of Austin; great-grandchildren Tyler Wayne Smith and Tristan Lee Smith of Cypress, Addilyn Rose Kelm and Sarah Faith Kelm of Austin; brother-in-law and wife Emery and Helen Schulze of Brenham; sister-in-law Elsie Preuss Schulze of Houston; step-grandchildren Tracie and Ronnie Boehnemann, Waynette Harmel and special friend Ty Reich, Kurt and Stacie Sunderhuse; step-great-grandchildren LyNae Neumann, Chadd and Kaci Neumann, Aimee Harmel, Cory Painter, Micah Harmel, Garrett Sunderhuse, Tana Sunderhuse, Kolten Sunderhuse; step-great-great-grandchildren Brodie Jones, Braygen Calvin, Nathan Simons and Chase Neumann.
He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation with family and friends will be Saturday, April 21 from 5-7 p.m. at Brenham Memorial Chapel.
Funeral service for Reuben Kelm will be Sunday, April 22 at 3:00 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church and burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pastor Virgil Pecht will officiate. Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church or to the charity of your choice.
Services are in the care of Brenham Memorial Chapel, 2300 Stringer St., Brenham.
