AILEEN REED MANUEL
WYTHEVILLE – Aileen Reed Manuel, formerly of 1909 Newbern Road, Pulaski age 82 died early Wednesday morning, Mar. 3, 2004, in the Pulaski Community Hospital. She was death by a sister, Mary Sue Taylor. She was a member of Glenwood United Methodist Church, Barren Springs.
Surviving are: her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Patty Patterson, Barren Springs; grandson, Michael D. Patterson, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Janie and Doug Dalton, Hillsville, Marjorie and Ralph Draper, Martinsville, Pauline and Paul Cecil, Hiwassee; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. from the Glenwood United Methodist Church with Rev. Frank Clifton officiating. Burial will follow in the Mahone passed away in Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Tuesday, March 2nd, 2004 after a long, hard battle with a brain injury. He was preceded in Interment will follow in Westview died Sunday evening February 29, 2004 at Pulaski Health & Rehabilitation Center. death by her husband, Audna Earl Palmer, brothers: Carl Parks, Floyd Parks, Lloyd Parks; sisters: Ruby Willis, Martha Glass, and Nora Lee Kinler and Thelma was the last sibling of 12 children. She is survived by 21 nieces and nephews and many friends. Funeral services will be held Friday March 5, 2004 at 11 a.m. at Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Martha Yeomans officiating. Cemetery in Emory, Va. at 3:00 p.m.
Visiting will be Friday from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 1946 Medallion Drive, Pulaski, Va. 24301. A special thank you is extended to the caregivers at the Pulaski Health and Rehabilitation Center. The family will be meeting at the home of Frances Parks 1225 Newbern Rd., Pulaski. Arrangements by Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home, Pulaski.

RUTH ANDERSON FROST
PULASKI - Ruth Anderson Frost, age 82, of 5778 Alum Spring Road, Pulaski Born April 5, 1921 in Pulaski County, she was the daughter of the late Anna Bell Robinson Anderson and William A. Anderson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in Interment will follow in Thorn Spring died Wednesday morning March 3, 2004 at her residence. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. Visiting will be anytime Thursday after 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Flowers will be accepted, but for those who wish to make memorial contributions, they may do so to their local hospice or to the charity of their choice. Arrangments by Thomas M. Seagle & Sons Funeral Home, Pulaski.

CLYDE FORREST FARMER
PULASKI – Clyde Forrest Farmer, 75, of Pulaski, born in Pulaski on May 15, 1928 and was the son of the late Mideon Lee Farmer and Mamie Millirons Farmer. He was also preceded in died Monday, Mar. 1, 2004 at Bristol Nursing Home, Bristol, Tenn., following an extended illness. He was a native of Parrott, Va. and the son of the late Terry Gilford and Annie Owens Cressell. Mr. Cressell was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Mar. 4, at Tetrick Funeral Home-Bluff City Chapel with the Rev. Joe Cole and Rev. Jeff Millsaps officiating. Cemetery, Bluff City. Active pallbearers will be David Cressell, Edward Cressell, Kevin Cressell, Travis Cressell, Bobby Joe Gregg and Belinda Sue Glover. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Hyatt, Carl Gregg and Danny Gregg. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Wednesday, Mar. 3, in the chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home, Bluff City.

THELMA PARKS PALMER
PULASKI – Thelma Parks Palmer, age 82 of Pulaski Born March 3, 1921 in Mt. Vernon, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Della Ruth Brown and the Rev. Richard Lee Parks. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, and was a retired employee of Peoples Life Insurance Company in Pulaski, and later finished her career in the company office in Wytheville, Va. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in Interment will follow in Emory passed away Saturday, Feb. 28, 2004 in the Pulaski Community Hospital. He was passed away on Feb. 26, 2004 after a long battle with liver cancer. death by one infant brother, grandparents, William L. Covey, Sr. and Nora Lee Songer Covey and James and Effie Trail Newman all of Pulaski.
Surviving are: her son, Christopher Covey; daughters, Michelle Taylor and Linda Taylor Ray; one grandson; parents, George and Sylvia Newman Covey; brother, Jerry Covey all of North Ridgeville, Ohio.
At Vickie’s request, she will be cremated.

TAMMY LYNN SEXTON
PULASKI – Tammy Lynn Sexton, 43, of 4408 Robinson Tract Road, Pulaski born in Radford, on Dec. 10, 1960. She was a former employee of RAAP, Radford and was a graduate of Pulaski County High School Class of 79 and also a graduate of Radford University. She was a member of the Faith Bible Church, Pulaski.
Surviving are: her parents, Jack and Ethel M. Sexton, Pulaski; special grandmother, Arleta Morris, Dublin; sister and brother-in-law, Teena and Bobby Osborne, Pulaski; one niece, Kendra Osborne, Pulaski; one nephew, Drew Osborne, Pulaski; one special lifelong friend, Becky Cullop, Dublin.

Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday May 1, 2004 at Thorn Spring passed away Tuesday April 27, 2004.

NANNIE KATHLEEN HUDDLE
PULASKI – Nannie Kathleen Huddle, 93, of Pulaski and Roanoke, death by her parents, Frank and Bulah Osborne, and her brothers and sisters, Mary Guy Osborne Neff, Marie Osborne Haley, Henry T. Osborne, Payne M. Osborne, and James E. Osborne. Surviving are her brothers, Edward F. Osborne of Roanoke, Emmett E. Osborne of Hyattsville, Md., John C. Osborne of Roanoke; sisters, Myrtle I. Marshall and Jean L. Davis, both of Pulaski; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at Oakey’s North Chapel 2 p.m. Saturday, May 1. The Rev. H. Kelly Darnpeer will officiate. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Oakey’s North Chapel 1 p.m. Saturday til service time. Arrangements by Oakey’s North Chapel 362-1237.
