Tommy H. Sears

Tommy Henry Sears, 80, of Mountain View died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006, in Mountain View.
He was a native of Ozone, son of the late George Victor and Jenny Mae Case Sears, member of Foot-
hills Baptist Church, veteran of World War II, logger, and was preceded in death by his wife, Madonna Lee Halsema Sears; two daughters, Kasey and Kathy England; one son, Gary England; and four brothers, Otis, Edgar, Bobby and James Sears.
He is survived by two sons, Jerry Lee (Cindy) England of Oklahoma and William Walker England of Missouri; six daughters, Loretta (David) Cummisky and Linda (Anthony) Freeman of the Flat Rock Community, Diane (Gordon) Olinger of Clarksville, Brenda (Paul) Davis of Mountain View, Rebecca England of Bald Knob, and Sue England of Ontario, Canada; 56 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three brothers, Oscar Lee Sears, Charles Frank Sears, and J. W. Sears; and three sisters, Olive, Anna Belle, and Nora.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 3, at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View with Pastor Paul Lancaster officiating followed by burial at 3:30 p.m. at East Mount Zion cemetery north of Clarksville.
Active pallbearers were Charles Lewis, Johnathan Lewis, B. J. McDougal, Michael Freeman, Kenneth Johnson II, and Anthony Freeman.
Honorary pallbearer was David Cummisky

Clifford E. Harmon

Clifford E. Harmon, 81, of Lamar died Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2006, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
A native of Lamar, he was a son of the late Amiel and Arlie M. Owens Harmon, retired carpenter, Baptist, and was preceded in death by the childrens' mother, Pauline Shatswell Harmon.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Ragsdale Harmon; two daughters, Shirlene Williams and husband, R. L., of Dover and Tammy Harmon of Clarksville; five sons, Tommy Harmon and wife, Joy, Gene Harmon, and Donnie Harmon and wife, Connie, all of Hagarville, Bud Harmon of Knoxville, and Paul Harmon and wife, Kim, of Lamar; two stepsons, Leroy Lukins of Liberty Valley, Okla., and Cecil Lukins of Russellville; one stepdaughter, Glenda Lukins of Clarksville; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services and burial will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, at the Annie's Chapel cemetery under the direction of Hardwicke Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, at Hardwicke Funeral Home.

David P. Haddock

David Paul Haddock, 56, of Clarksville died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006, at Johnson Regional Medical Center.
He was a son of the late Coy Lee Haddock, retired logger, member of the Assembly of God Church, and was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Howard Haddock and Charles Ray Haddock; and one sister, Florence Mosby.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Holliman Haddock; two daughters, Misty Thomas and husband, Bill, and Jeannie Ritchie and husband, Robbie, all of Clarksville; mother, Josephine McClanahan of Big Flat; six brothers, Roy Dale Haddock of Marshall, Tommy Haddock, Rudy Haddock and Carl Haddock, all of Big Flat, Coy Junior Haddock of Rogers, and Jim Haddock of Oklahoma; five sisters, Alice Haddock and Jo Ellen Stevens, both of Big Flat, and Carolyn Watts, Judy Johnston, and Betty Hafner, all of Mississippi; and five grandchildren.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at Roller-Coffman Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Kindrix officiating. Burial was in Rock Creek cemetery at Marshall.
Pallbearers were Rudy Haddock, Carl Haddock, Mike Jacobs, Sam Treat, Gene Harmon, and Stanley Avey.

Ethel O. Harlan

Ethel O. Morrison Harlan, 99, of Kokomo, Ind., died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006, at Sycamore Village Health Care in Kokomo, Ind.
A native of Newton County, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Lela Casey Morrison, widow of Orville Harlan, member of the Strawberry Assembly of God Church, former resident of Johnson County and Converse, Ind., and was preceded in death by two sons, Coy and Dean Harlan; three sisters; one brother; and three grandchildren.
Survivors include six children, Wanda (Lester) Jones of Ft. Myers, Fla., Wilma Saylors of Converse, Ind., Naomi Gibson of Muncie, Ind., Donna (Bob) Graham of Greentown, Ind., Wayne (Nancy) Harlan of Frostproof, Fla., and Leon Harlan of Lamar; one sister, Esteline Skaggs; 25 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, at the Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Larrison-Martin Chapel in Converse, Ind., with Dr. Rusty T. Clements officiating.
Graveside services and burial will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at the Hagarville cemetery. Local arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.

Grace K. White

Grace K. Pitman White, 94, died Monday, Oct. 30, 2006, at her home near London.
She was born in the Pless Community, a daughter of the late Will and Nora Tessneer Pitman, widow of Joe E. White, member of Mt. Carmel Cumberland Presbyterian Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher for many years, and an active lifetime member of the Pless Extension Homemakers Club. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Jason White; one great-grandson, Justin Brown; and one sister, Lucille Rachel.
Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Gaines and Shirlene White of Russellville, Don and Doris White, Jerrell and Esther White and Roger and Mary White of London; one daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Aaron Anthony of London; one sister and brother-in-law, Kathryn and Milton Nordin of London; one brother-in-law, Paul Rachel of Springdale; 14 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, at Mt. Carmel Cumberland Presbyterian Church near London with Rev. David Carpenter, Ryan Puls, Percy Boster and Carlton Bowden officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Carmel cemetery under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service of Russellville.
Pallbearers will be grandson, Russell, Jerry, Peter, A. J., Scotty and Kent White.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, at Humphrey Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Carmel cemetery Fund, c/o Ted Boster, 3608 East 5th Street, Russellville, AR 72802.

Lois Parker

Lois Parker, 88, of London died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006, at AMI St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.
She was a native of Dardanelle, daughter of the late Benjamin and Leila Stroud Bratton, widow of Jock Thomas Parker, member of the Flat Rock Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by two daughters and a son-in-law, Florence and Chuck Sund and Vera Odom; two grandchildren; one brother; and five sisters.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Sandie Parker of Maraposa, Calif., and Herb and Teresa Parker of London; two daughters and three sons-in-law, Betty and Chuck Maddox of Nevada City, Calif., Jane and Ron Wood of Pasadena, Calif., and Bud Odom of Grants Pass, Ore.; one brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence and Peggy Bratton of Camden; one sister, Mickey Strickland of Russellville; 26 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 30, at the Flat Rock Baptist Church with Rev. Charlie Bird and Rev. Ray Brown officiating.
Burial was in Brock cemetery near London under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
Active pallbearers were Arval Lee Parker, Paul Ray Parker, Earl Sanderson, Chris Donnelly, Leon Meimerstorf, and Ray Loyd.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the Flat Rock Baptist Church.

Matthew Thibodeaux

Matthew David Thibodeaux, 25, of Coal Hill died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2006, in Coal Hill.
He was a native of Fort Smith, oil tech for Clarksville Lube Express and a Pentecostal.
He is survived by two daughters, Bre-Anna and Haylee, both of Fort Smith; mother and stepfather, Sherry and Michael Allen of Fort Smith; father and stepmother, John and Bonnie Thibodeaux of Coal Hill; two sisters, Crystal Brunk of Redland and May Earls of Coal Hill; and three brothers, Phillip Thibodeaux and Robert Allen, both of Fort Smith, and James Self of Lavaca.
Funeral was at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith with burial in Gill cemetery at Van Buren.
Pallbearers were Tommy and Larry Burks, Robert Allen, Anthony and Jimmy Boyce, and Phillip Thibodeaux.
