Larry Joe Lyons, age 24 years of W. Harrison, IN passed away Friday, June 4, 2004 in Lawrenceburg, IN.

He was born June 26, 1979 in Lawrenceburg, IN; the son of Lucy (Patrick) & the late Chester Lyons. He is survived by his mother of W. Harrison, IN; brothers Larry Lyons of Brookville, IN and Billy Lyons of Harrison, OH; sisters Linda Nixon of Bright, IN and Cathy Sizemore of Bright, IN. He will also be missed by his 5 nephews and 1 niece.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at 1:00 PM at the West Harrison Pentecostal Tabernacle in W. Harrison, IN with Bro. Wade Hicks and Rev. Hobert Bowling officiating. Visitation will be from 10 AM until time of service at the church. Burial will be in Gibson Cemetery, Bright, IN. Memorials are suggested to the family.

Marlene A. Moore

Marlene A. Moore, age 65 years of W. Harrison, IN passed away Thursday, June 3, 2004 at her home.

She was born June 30, 1938 in W. Harrison, IN; the daughter of Walter & Velma (Miller) Kolb. She married Raymond Eugene Moore on August 16, 1956. He preceded her in death in 1982.

She is survived by her children Vicki (Joe) Kile of Brookville, IN; Donnie (Debbie) Moore of Brookville, IN and Chris (Cindy) Moore of W. Harrison, IN; brother Kermit Kolb of Laurel, IN and 8 grandchildren Kevin, Jason, Megan Moore, Jessica & Hallie Kile and Cara, Chelsea & Cayla Moore. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister Garnet Lykins.

Mrs. Moore worked for Visteon Company in Connersville, IN until her retirement in 2003.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, June 3, 2004 at 11:00 AM at Bright Christian Church in Bright, IN. Visitation will be Saturday from 9 - 11 AM at the church. Burial will be in Gibson Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Bright Christian Church.

William L. Jones

Batesville, IN

William L. Jones, 63, passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2004 at Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville, IN. born September 2, 1940 in Ft. Knox, KY, he was the son of Grover and Etta Mae (Greene) Jones.

William was a US Marine during peace time and Vietnam. He is a member of the Holy Family Church in Oldenburg, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles #1130 and American Legion Post #271 in Batesville. He retired from the truck garage at Batesville Casket Company.

William is survived by his wife Maggie (Martin) Giesting Jones; son William Todd Jones of Batesville; daughters, Gerri Schwegman & Nancy Kruthaupt of Batesville; stepson James Giesting of Batesville; stepdaughters, Patty Wagner of Batesville, Barbara Laughlin of Newark, OH and Cheryl Groce of Brookville, IN; 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. He is also survived by 1 sister, 2 half brothers, 1 half sister and 3 step sisters.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife Sarah (Suttmann) Jones in 1983 and one son, William Eric Jones.

Visitation, Sunday, June 6, 2004 from 4-8pm at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, June 7, 2004 at 10am in the Holy Family Church in Oldenburg, IN, with 1 hour of visitation prior at the church. Rev. John Turnbull O.F.M. officiating, with burial immediately following at the Holy Family Church Cemetery with military grave side rites.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, the National Kidney Foundation or the Relay for Life.

Alvin William Siebert

Batesville, Indiana

Alvin W. Siebert loving husband of Betty (nee Ahrens), beloved father of Dennis (Roberta) Siebert, and uncle of several nieces and nephews passed away Thursday, May 27, 2004 at his home on the farm in Batesville, IN.

Mr. Siebert was a life long farmer & worked at Romweber until he retired in 1977. He was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Huntersville & the F.O.E. Area #1130.

He was born to William and Edna (Bornemeier)Siebert on February 11, 1923 in Batesville and married his wife, Betty on Sept. 8, 1945 at his church.

Visitation, Monday, May 31 from 5-8pm and Funeral service, Tuesday, June 1 at 10:00am, all at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville, IN. The Rev. David Johnston & Rev. Juanita Connerly officiating. Burial will follow in the St. John Cemetery, Huntersville.

Memorials may be made to St. John United Church of Christ.

Arwilda N. Siebert
04/27/1914 to 05/27/2004
Batesville, IN

Arwilda N. Siebert, 90, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2004 at the Hospitality Hall in Batesville.

She is survived by her husband Herbert Siebert, granddaughter Ann Delay Schutte & son-in-law Wallace Schutte (MI), sisters Eileen Alsop (CA) & Lucille Zwayer (TX). She was preceded in death by her parents Harry & Nell Delay and only daughter, the late Judity K. Schutte.

Mrs. Siebert was born in New Marian, IN on April 27, 1914. She retired as a nurse at Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville and was a member of the Batesville United Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter #348.

Visitation, Saturday, May 29 9-11am followed by the funeral service at 11am, all at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville. The Rev. Larry Marhanka officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Batesville United Methodist Church.

Wallace Taylor Lanham

Wallace Taylor Lanham, age 79 years of W. Harrison, IN passed away Friday, June 25, 2004 in Cincinnati, OH.

He was born May 18, 1925 in Louellen, KY the son of Zachary & Anna (Lankford) Lanham. He is survived by his son Randy K. Lanham of Naples, FL and daughter Ramona K. Lemmel of Harrison, OH. He will also be missed by his grandsons Ryan Wallace Lemmel, Rhett Zachary Lemmel, Rawley Griffith Lemmel; brothers Wayne Lanham of Marion, IN; sisters Allene Marion of Cincinnati, OH and Barbara Wesling of Englewood, FL. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a grandson Rustin Dale Lemmel; brother Harold Lanham and sister June Fagin.

Mr. Lanham was a 1943 graduate of Harlan High School, US Navy Veteran of WWII, retired from GM in 1979 after 30 years in Quality Control, was a Kentucky Colonel and former City Council of West Harrison, IN.

Visitation will be Monday, June 28, 2004 from 5 - 8 PM at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at 11:00 AM at Harrison Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Arno Wilson & Chaplain Major Harold Shackelford officiating. Military Services will follow the funeral at the church. Burial will be in Felts Chapel Cemetery in Corbin, KY. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Assoc.

Henry “Hank” Marion Reynolds Jr., age 54 years of Bright, IN passed away Saturday, May 22, 2004 in Cincinnati, OH.

He was born June 30, 1949 in Hamilton, OH; the son of the late Henry Sr. & Katherine (Hall) Reynolds.

Mr. Reynolds is survived by his sisters Ida Bibee of W. Harrison, IN & Joyce Denny of Bright, IN. He will also be missed by several nieces & nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother Hobert Hollan.

He was a graduate of Whitewater High School & worked for Super American in Harrison, OH.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, May 27, 2004; 1:00 PM at Pentecostal Holiness Tabernacle, 2100 Springdale Rd, Cincinnati, OH with Rev. David Miller officiating. Visitation will be Wed. from 5 - 8 PM at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH & Thursday from 11:30 - 1:00 PM at the church. Burial will be in Gibson Cemetery, Bright, IN. Memorials are suggested the Pentecostal Holiness Tabernacle.

Doris B. LeBlanc, age 90 years of Batesville, IN passed away Friday, April 30, 2004 at her daughter’s home in Franklin, IN.

She was born August 27, 1913 in Wapakoneta, OH the daughter of Rudolf & Agnes (DuVall) Bachman. She married Phillip E. LeBlanc on May 8, 1937 in Wapakoneta, OH and he preceded her in death on October 18, 1993.

She is survived by her daughter Andrea A. Deppe of Franklin, IN; sons Philip N. LeBlanc of Longwood, FL; Paul W. LeBlanc of Montrose, CO and Dennis G. LeBlanc of Batesville, IN; 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, sisters Elizabeth Bachman of Wapakoneta, OH and Mary Wadsack of Lake Charles, LA; brothers William Bachman of New Carlisle, OH and Matthias Bachman of Midland, TX. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by twin infant daughters and brothers James & John Bachman.

Mrs. LeBlanc was a 1930 graduate of Blume High School in Wapakoneta, OH at the age of 16 and a graduate of Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of St. Mary of the Rock Catholic Church and the Deaconess Alumni Association. She retired from Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville in 1978.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 6, 2004 from 6 - 8 PM at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville, IN. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, May 7, 2004 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Louis Church Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Louis Endowment Fund or American Heart Association.

Mr. Clyde E. Brown. Husband of the late Cordia Brown. Age 76 of Lake Wales, FL, died Sunday evening, April 18, 2004 in Lake Wales, FL. He was born April 9, 1928 in Newport, KY the son of Orville & Lelia (Benning) Brown He moved to Lake Wales in 1990 from Bright, IN. He retired after thirty years of service in the instrumentation department of Cincinnati Gas and Electric Company. He was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was a forty year member of the Masonic Lodge #4, F.& A.M. in Lawrenceburg, IN and the Fraternal order of the Eagles #2022 in Aurora, IN. He was of the Lutheran faith. He is survived by his stepson Harold Simpson; grandsons Mark & Greg Simpson; great grandson Christopher Simpson; brother Harry N. Brown & half sister Helen Gerhardt. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 until time of services at 10:30 AM at Jackman Kercheval Meyers Funeral Home, Harrison, OH. Memorials of remembrance may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 105
