Alya Grace Barcus, infant daughter of Tim Barcus and Alysa Nash Barcus, was death by her grandfather, Charlie Barcus.
Graveside service was held Tuesday, May 1, at 4 p.m., at Ava born Oct. 31, 1917, in Souder, Mo., and departed this life May 2, 2007 at the age of 89.
Vivian was a resident of Nixa, for the past six years, moving from Ozark. She was a homemaker. She loved hunting for antiques, rock hounding, and looking for Indian artifacts.
On Feb. 17, 1945, Vivian and D.O. Allen were united in marriage in Lexington, Mo. Vivian and D.O. Allen were blessed with one son, Dennis.
Vivian was preceded in born on Nov. 29, 1935, in Kandiyohi County, Minn., and passed from this life on May 20, 2007, in Cox Medical Center South, Springfield, at the age of 71 years.
Ed was a resident of Ava for the past five years moving from California. In high school Ed was very active in the FFA holding all the offices. He was a retired vice president of West Coast Division of Greif Brothers Co. He worked with them for 45 years. On Dec. 15, 1955 Ed and Marie Soderberg were united in marriage in New Hampton, Iowa and to this union two children were death by his parents, four brothers, Paul, infant Karl, Roger, Richard Dean and one niece, Marnie Dean.
He is survived by his wife, Marie, of the home in Ava; one son, Michael Allan Dean, Baltimore, Md.; and one daughter, Dawn Marie Dean, Gilroy, Calif.; three grandchildren, Ingrid and Anthony Dean, Severna Park, Md., and Christopher Dean, Gilroy, Calif.; one sister, Alice Dorschner and husband, David, Montevideo, Minn.; one brother, David Dean and wife, Jeanne, Litchfield, Minn.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial service is Tuesday, May 29, at 2 p.m. at the Sweden Church, Ava, with Pastor Joshua Strong officiating. A memorial service will be held June 23, at 2 p.m. at the Litchfield, Minn., Assembly of God Church. The family requests memorials to a hospice or the donor's charity of choice.
Services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava.
Harold C. Farris, 75

Harold Clifton Farris, son of Lester and Thelma Reser Farris, was born. Harold attended the Mountain Side School in Douglas County and had lived most of his life in the Mansfield area. He was a farmer and had run the DX station in Mansfield many years ago.
Harold was a member of the Ava Full Gospel Church and was a United States Air Force veteran. In his spare time he enjoyed the outdoors where he loved hunting, fishing and trapping.
He was preceded in Cemetery.
Michael J. Rehard, 19

Funeral arrangements for Michael J. Rehard, 19, will be announced by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava.
Rehard born Jan. 4, 1916, in Fredonia, Kan., and departed this life June 6, 2007, at the age of 91.
Wilma was a resident of the Ava area for the past 60 years moving from Nebraska. Wilma and Kenneth Flynn were united in marriage on Feb. 18, 1932, in Fremont, Neb. Wilma and Kenneth were blessed with two daughters. She loved and enjoyed her family and working in her flower gardens. She was employed with Tobin Hamilton shoe factory for 21 years. Wilma was a member of the Gentry Church.
Wilma was preceded in Interment followed in the Ava born on April 26, 1928 in Bradleyville, and passed from this life on June 26, 2007 in Skaggs Community Hospital, Branson, at the age of 79.
Dollie was a lifelong resident of the Bradleyville community. Dollie was a Christian and attended Bradleyville General Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, farmer and raised beef cattle.
On Oct. 23, 1947 Dollie and Stanley Sartin were united in marriage in Harrison, Ark. Dollie and Stanley were blessed with eight children.
Dollie was preceded in Interment will follow in the Sartin Family born in Ava on Aug. 2, 1929, the son of Oral A. and Katherine Buck Atteberry. He married Modeane Sartin on July 11, 1950 and to this union two daughters were death by his parents; a brother, Edward Atteberry; a daughter, Cathy Foster; and his stepmother, ZelIa Kester Atteberry Renegar.
He is survived by his wife, Modeane, of the home; a daughter, Cindy Monaghan and granddaughters Sarah and Jessica Monaghan, of Tulsa, Okla.; a sister, Anne Atteberry Rutledge and niece Kellie Ouzts and her family of Winder, Ga.; and cousins Gary Kester and Marilyn Alms, of Ava.
Services were held Tuesday, June 26, at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson with burial at the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Springfield.
