Dallas Cleo Gunter, Sr., son of Cleo Thomas and Louella Mae Clark Gunter, was death.
Dallas is survived by his children, Donna Fulcher, and her husband, Mike, of Batesville, Ark., Louella Quackenbush, and her husband, Russ, of Indianapolis, Ind., Tom Gunter and his wife, Tammy, and Darrell Gunter and his wife, Tammy, all of Ava, Dallas Gunter Jr. and his wife, Chastity, of Lebanon, and Wesley Barnum and his wife, Amy, of Joplin; two step-children, Julie Brown, of Lebanon, and Jamie Osborn and his wife, Amy, of Springfield; 30 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Tommy Gunter, of Ava; three sisters, Geraldine Holman, of Ava, Donna Riggs and Carrie Ann Berry, both of Mountain Grove; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was Cemetery. Visitation was held Wednesday evening, June 27, from 7 - 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home in Mansfield.
Services were under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Homes of Lebanon and Mansfield. Memorials to the Mental Health Foundation may be made through either funeral home.
Judith "Judy" Denney, 44

Judith Francis Denney, the daughter of James D. Miller and Mary J. (Goss) Miller, was married for 20 years and blessed with three children.
Judith was preceded in Interment will follow in the Denney born Sept. 20, 1929, in Grabeel, Mo., and departed this life March 2, 2005, at the age of 75.
On April 8, 1950, Dexter and Nelita Farmer were united in marriage in Wilhoit, Mo. They were blessed with seven children.
Dexter was a lifelong resident of Noble where he was a beef and dairy farmer and milked for over 50 years. Dexter was a member of the Franklin Grove Southern Baptist Church. He enjoyed researching his family genealogy and corresponding with distant relatives. His hobbies included growing flowers, mowing his yard and helping maintain his family death by his parents, a daughter, Kathryn, a son, David, two brothers, Calvin and Richard, and a sister, Nora Sleeter.
His survivors include his wife, Nelita, of the home, Noble; four sons, Don Hawkins, Las Vegas, Nev., Dan, Doug and Dennis Hawkins, all of Noble; one daughter, Debra Delp, of Noble; 10 grandchildren, Tracy, Josh, Dillon, Stacy, Dalton, Delanna, Vanessa, Dara, Lori and Sarah Beth; two great-grandchildren; Taylor and Tyler; one brother, Ralph Hawkins, Hutchison, Kan.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 5, in the Sims Cemetery.
Charles D. Jamison Sr., 80

Charles Duane Jamison Sr., 80 of Vanzant, born in Mason City, Ill., on April 22, 1927, the third child of Arthur Ray and Ollie (Yates) Jamison. He was born, Everett Wayne, Charles Jr, Leroy, Ray, Linda and Martha. He received his honorable discharge on Sept. 23, 1949 and returned to Iowa where he worked for his father-in-law for a year, and then his Uncle Roy, helped him start farming for himself.
The next several years were spent on farms in Iowa, then the family moved to Thida, Ark., in 1963. In 1964 they moved to Judsonia, Ark., where Charles operated an ESSO Station. Charles began working as an oiler and then crane operator on the Arkansas River locks and dams. The family moved to Kempton, Ind., in 1969 and he worked as a crane operator on highway and interstate bridge construction. Shortly after moving near Little Rock, Ark., he started his own landscaping and building site preparation business. In 1983, Charles became semi-retired and moved near Vanzant. At this time the only child still at home was Ray.
At age 66, he was tired of being retired and went back to work as a crane operator for a company that constructed large railroad bridges. During this time he worked in Kansas near Grand Island, then Dover and Wilmington, Del., on sewer projects. He would also spend time working in seven states for a railroad bridge company. This continued until 2001, at the age of 73 he retired due to his health, but continued to work on his farm until his death by his parents; siblings, Louise Vaughn, Ernest (Ernie) Jamison and Noel June Jamison.
He is survived by his wife, Fern, of the home; his sons, Everett (Wayne) of Denison, Texas, Charles Jr. (Chuck) of Little Rock, Ark., Leroy (Roy) of Hensley, Ark. and Ray of Vanzant; his daughters, Linda Rorem of Pacifica, Calif., and Martha (Marty) Stewart of Drexel; sisters, Vera Hanoka of Decatur, Ill., and Eva White of Ava; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Services were at 10 a.m, Monday, July 30, at the funeral chapel. Burial with full military honors was in the Pleasant Mound born July 22, 1946, in Moline, Ill., to Clark Henry and Judith Mildred Johnson Reed. He departed this life Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007, at his home near Ava.
Jim moved to Ava after retiring as a building inspector in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., in 2005.
Jim enjoyed every day of his life because it gave him the opportunity to meet people. Since moving to Ava he had enjoyed getting to meet new friends. He had never met a stranger. Children knew he was their special friend. He was interested in many things from cooking to cars, especially hot rods. He had attended Girdner Church since coming to Ava.
He was preceded in born in La Mesa, Calif. on Sept. 29, 1956 and death by his grandparents, Elza and Edith Bell, and Harry and Lois Meador; his aunt, Breta Opstad, uncle T.J. Dial and cousin Elaine Wallace.
At his request, Patric was cremated and his ashes buried at the Pine River Cemetery in Bayfield, Colo. on Aug. 24, with a graveside service conducted by family and friends.
