Evelyn Pauline Sanders, 84, of Pittsburg, Mo., born July 20, 1922, in Rapid City, S.D., to Richard Paul and Gladys Evelyn Mytinger Langdale. She moved to California at an early age and in 1948, in Las Vegas, Nev., was death in 1982. She and her son, Richard and family, moved to the Pittsburg area in 1994.
Survivors include her son, Richard, of Pittsburg; four grandsons, Scott, of Bolivar, Jason, of Springfield, Andrew, of Pittsburg, and Joshua, of Stockton; and seven great-grandchildren.
Evelyn was a member of Prairie Chapel United Methodist Church, Urbana, to which memorial donations may be made.
Arrangements are under the direction of Pitts Chapel, Bolivar.
Narvel Edwin Lakey, 65

Narvel Edwin Lakey the son of Guy Lakey and Lola (Hutchison) Lakey, was death by his parents and two sisters, Louise Porter and Marian Smith.
His survivors include five brothers and their spouses, Basil Lakey, Darrell Lakey and Patsy, Harold Lakey and Carol, Elwood Lakey and Judy, Marvin Lakey and Jean, all of Ava; one sister, Sue Porter and husband, Cap, of Ava; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Service will be 10 a.m., Friday, July 20, in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, with the Revs. Reggie Kelly and Paul Welch officiating. Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until service time. Memorials may be made to Gideons International or a blood donation in his name.

Caelyn Nicolette Osbourn, infant, of Kirbyville, born June 27, 2007, in Springfield, the daughter of Jerold Carless and Chelsea Nicole (Miller) Osbourn.
Caelyn was preceded in Cemetery, Branson, with the Rev. Scott Coffelt officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home, Branson.

Cora Warden, 83, of Richland, Wash., born on June 19, 1924, in Noble, Mo. to William P. and Eliza R. Loftis.
After attending Hopper's Beauty Academy in Springfield, Mo., she managed a beauty shop in Nevada, Mo.
Cora death by husband Leland, brothers Clyde, Clinton and Homer, and sister Esther.
William Andrew "Andy" Nation, 18

William Andrew Nation, son of Anthony and Gretta Lynn (Garrison) Nation, was passed away on July 25, 2007, in Norwood, at the age of 18.
Andy was a resident of Norwood community with his grandparents for the past seven months, moving from Kansas City. He worked as a lifeguard. Andy loved fishing, hunting, skate boarding, music and loved to make people laugh. He was a Christian.
Andy is survived by his mother, Gretta Nation of Brandon, Fla.; his father, Anthony, and wife, Sonya Nation, of Springdale, Ark.; three brothers, Tyler, Austin and Quest Nation, all of Springdale, Ark.; maternal grandparents, Jerry and Katie Garrison, Norwood, and paternal grandparents, Thomas and Mimi Nation, Little Rock, Ark.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services were held Saturday, July 28, at 11 a.m., at the Denlow born May 27, 1913, in Clinton, to David F. and Carrie McKeigg Massey. She married Virgil McLane Gray, and their home was blessed with two children, Pamela Sue and Virgil David. While Virgil was fighting in World War II, Sue worked as a beautician in Kansas City. They then purchased and managed Clinton Quality Chick Hatchery. In 1958 Sue and Virgil moved to Burlington, Colo., where they owned and operated Stevens Motel and Café. Virgil preceded her in married Howard Rouse. She worked in several restaurants and drug stores in Burlington, Colo. In 1994, Sue and Howard moved to Ava. Howard preceded her in death by both parents and her husbands, Virgil and Howard. She was also preceded in Cemetery in Clinton, at 3 p.m. Monday. Visitation was held prior to the service at 9:30 a.m. at Ava Family Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Sue is survived by her daughter, Pam Karges and husband, Blair, of Ava; five grandchildren, Melanie, Jordan, Tabitha, Deidra and Tara; a niece, Peggy Jean Knight; a brother-in-law, Bill Gray, and a special dog, Taffy; as well as other family and friends. Sue actively served her Lord Jesus in her church memberships all her life. She worked as church secretary in Clinton, Mo., and Burlington, Colo., and taught adult Sunday school classes and helped wherever she was needed in the church.

Helen Mae Hodges, the daughter of George Switzer and Maud (Herrell) Switzer, was death by her parents, two sisters, Thelma Jarman and Clair Lakey, and her husband, Harold.
Helen is survived by her daugh¬ter, Lena F. Sexton and her hus¬band, Don, Phillipsburg; two grandchildren, Tim Sexton and his wife, Keri, and Angie Bryant and her husband, Lucas; one step-grand-daughter, Denise McCul¬loch; and five great grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, in the Mt. Tabor Church with the Rev. Tom Johnson officiating.
Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava. Memorials may be made to Mt. Tabor Church.

L.A. Johnson, 96, formerly of Rome, Mo., death by his wife, Eileen, in 1997.
He is survived by one son and eight daughters. Two daughters, Judy Rhodes and Lucy Massey, graduated from Ava High School. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, including Jesse Woolman, of Ava; and 29 great-grandchildren.
