Larry Dean Sprague, son of the late T.C. and Lois (Miranda) Sprague, was born to this union. They made their home in the Ozarks where they raised their family on a farm in Drury, Mo .
Larry was an avid outdoorsman, especially when hunting, fishing and camping. He enjoyed spending time with his family friends and his dog and companion, Buddy. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He was also a loyal American who loved serving his country.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in Cemetery with the Rev. Reg Kelly officiating. Full military honors were given at the Cemetery under the direction of Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home of Mtn. Grove.
Timmy James Dougherty, 49

Timmy James Dougherty, son of Johnny Joe and Bernice Louise Lister Dougherty, was death by his mother.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Kristin LaVonne, and their four children, Seth Peirre (Loretta) of Duncan, Okla., Sarah Jane, of Greenleaf, Idaho, Whitney Dawn, of Rexburg, Idaho, and Timmy Chad, of Duncan, Okla.; and two grandchildren, Malinda Lynn and Shaelyn Lavonne; his father, Johnny Joe, of Tecumseh; brothers, Jimmy Joe (Darlene), and Harold Lynn (Sharon) both of Mtn. Home, Ark.; a sister Lora Louise, of Tecumseh; nine nieces and three nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Abelia Hutchison, 73

On July 10, 1934, Juan and Maria Elena Gallegos Villa welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Abelia, into their growing family in Mexico. When she was 6 years old, the family moved to Kansas City to begin their new life.
On Nov. 28, 2007, Abelia Hutchison, 73, death by her parents, Juan and Maria Gallegos Villa; seven brothers and sisters; and her husbands, Isauro Vega and Samuel E. Hutchison.
Abelia is survived by four sons, Steve R. Vega (Patty), John J. Vega (Delores), Isauro Vega Jr. (Carrie) and Benjamin Hutchison (Odessa); three daughters, Helen A. Vega (Shiela), Lourdes M. Smith (Charles) and Mona Myers (Darren); 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one brother, Edward Villa; one sister, Julia Rivera; and many other family and friends.
Graveside services were conducted Monday, Dec. 3, at 2 p.m., in the Lutie passed away Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield. She was death by her parents; her husband, Franklin Gates; one granddaughter, Deanna Owens; and one grandson, Matthew Cook.
She is survived by one sister and three brothers, Shirley Crampton, of Tallahassee, Fla., Doug Ladd, Yuma, Ariz., Jack Ladd, Clermont, Fla., and Merle Ladd, Tallahassee, Fla. She is also survived by her six daughters and two sons, Cheryl (Gates) Bohannan, Crocker, Terry Gates, Hartville, Carol (Gates) Owens, Mansfield, Marcia (Gates) Dunn, Lebanon, Janis (Gates) Goodman, Sparta, Patricia (Gates) Redden, Springfield, Nancy (Gates) Crawford, Springfield, and John Gates, Lebanon; 28 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services were held at the Walnut Lawn Funeral Home Chapel, Springfield, at 1 p.m. on Dec.10.
Freida Faye Harper, 72

Freida Faye Harper, daughter of Claude Yeisley and Neva Dewhirst Yeisley was passed away on December 8, 2007 in St. John’s Hospital, Springfield, MO at the age of 72 years, 3 months and 13 days.
Faye was a lifelong resident of the Ava community. She was a homemaker and also had worked at Rawlings Sporting Goods and Spaldings as Production Operator. On July 16, 1952 Faye and Wilburn Web Harper were united in marriage in Mtn. Home, AR and to this union one daughter was death by her parents and her husband Web in 2001.
Her survivors include a daughter and her husband, Bobbi & Dennis Cunningham, Sparta, MO, two special grandsons, David Welsh, Ava, MO and Daniel Cunningham, Sparta, MO, six great grandchildren, Kayla, Breanna, Kiara, Jazmine, Nathan and Chyenne, one nephew, Ted, two nieces, Karen and Diane, one brother, John Yeisley, Ava, MO, one sister, Naomi Short, Rupert, Idaho and a host of other relatives and friends.
Service for Faye is Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007, 2:00 p.m. at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with the Rev. Kevin Pittman officiating. Cemetery west of Ava. A dinner will be held at the First General Baptist Church after the service. Family requests memorials to Gideon’s or Arden died Thursday, Dec. 6, 2007, at Hospice House in Mtn. Home, Ark.
Mrs. Cantwell was married Jan. 19, 1961, in Walterboro, S.C.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Cantwell is survived by her husband, Merl; five children, Greg Cantwell, of Columbia, S.C., Al Cantwell, of Louisville, Ky., Kim Youngblood, Jacksonville, Fla., Denise Guenther, West Plains, and Beth Shoemaker, Beaufort, S.C.; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Mary Connley, Anna Lee Connley, and Thelma Keith, all of Beaufort, S.C., and Dot Powell, of Yemassee, S.C.
She was preceded in born Aug. 16, 1928, in Scandia, Kan., and departed this life Dec. 14, 2007, in Cox South Hospital, Springfield, at the age of 79 years 3 months and 28 days.
Marjorie was a resident of the area for most of her life. On Nov. 14, 1945, Marjorie and Delmer Davis were united in marriage in Marysville, Kan. Marjorie and Delmer were blessed with six children. Marjorie was a housewife. She was a Christian and was of the Baptist faith. Marjorie enjoyed sewing and embroidering.
Marjorie was preceded in Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Huskey officiating. Memorials may be made to the Goodhope Cemetery.
