David Willey Hunt, Jr., 80

David Willey Hunt, Jr., son of David Willey Hunt, Sr. and Dulcie Ann Huffman Hunt, was passed away on Feb. 16, 2007, in St. John's Hospital, Springfield, at the age of 80.
David was a retired chef. He was an Army veteran and served his country in World War II and the Korean Conflict, and was a member of the American Legion Post #676.
On Aug. 12, 1978, David and Paula Snider were united in marriage in Silver Dollar City, Mo. David was of the Assembly of God faith. He was affectionately known as "Uncle Dave" at Silver Dollar City, where he worked for 32 years.
He was a professional storyteller, harmonica player and guitar player there. David was one of the two remaining original members of Silver Dollar City's Folk Music Festivals. He loved gardening, fishing, carpentry and being with his family.
David was preceded in Interment followed in the Ava died Saturday evening, Jan. 6, 2007, from pancreatic cancer.
Gina (Regina) is survived by her husband of 37 years, (the Rev'd Canon) David W. Holland, rector of the Episcopal Church of the Annunciation, Lewisville, Texas. She is also survived by her three children, Richard, a U.S. Army veteran and IT administrator with Centex Homes, Michael, an ER technician at Baylor Hospital, Plano, Texas and nursing student, and Rachel, a nursing student at the College of Nursing at Texas Woman's University.
Gina was died in her sleep at the Strafford Care Center, Strafford, on Feb. 9, 2007, where she had been a resident for several years after suffering a stroke.
She was death by her parents, two brothers, Clifford and Edley, two sisters, Vida and Vera, and her former husband, Joe Sallee.
Tessie is survived by her daughter, Wanda Sallee Carras and husband, Nick, of Springfield, and her son, Don Sallee and wife Mary Lou, of Ava; four grandchildren, Cathy Love and her husband, Bruce, of Bella Vista, Ark., Nicki Gillespie and husband, Dale, of Springfield, Anne Sallee Mason and husband, Scott, of Springfield, and Skip Sallee, of St. Louis; five great-grandchildren, Melissa Love, Travis Gillespie, Evan Mason, Eliza Sallee and Liam Sallee; and one sister, Reba Massey of Oregon.
Tessie had many interests but her greatest love was her children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. A private memorial service will be held.

John Benjamin (J.B.) Alsup was death by his parents, wife Shirley Alsup, infant daughter, Joyce Alsup, two sisters, Helen Alsup and Noreen Hancock, grandson Raymond Brewer Jr., and granddaughter, Sarah Alsup.

Jewell “Judy” Lorene Lowrance, 83, Ozark, MO departed from this life Sunday morning at The Baptist Home, Ozark. Judy, the daughter of Andrew Browitt and Ethel Brooks Browitt, was born two sons. She is preceded in Cemetery, Hartville.
Visitation is 3 PM – 4:30 PM Tuesday, at The Baptist Home, 1625 W. Garton Road, Ozark, MO.

WILLIAM “BILL” KERTHIE WEBB JR. Springfield, Mo.
WILLIAM “BILL” WEBB JR. son of William K Webb Sr. and Alice M. McGee was death by his parents and a brother Joe Webb and a sister Margaret (Webb) Caudle.
Survivors include his loving wife Sue Webb, one sister Annie Sisk and one brother Ben Webb Two sons Jim Laughren and wife Cindy, of Calf., William K.WebbIII, Texas. Two step children Susan Clayton and husband Neil of Ill., Daniel Wilcox and wife Cheryl of Willard Mo. Four grandchildren and two great grand daughters. Several nieces and nephews and a whole lot of friends.
As a young man Bill was a Captain in the Air Force in World War II where he was a pilot which he loved and now once again he is flying high with the angel’s Bill will be greatly missed.
Bill retired from Jewell Tea Co. after twenty-five years of service.
Bill and Sue enjoyed square dancing and their cabin on Table Rock Lake where he loved to fish.
Visitation will be at Walnut Lawn Funeral home 2001 W. Walnut Lawn on Tuesday March 8 from 5-7 pm. Cemetery.
