Joan Wilson
Joan Wilson, age 71, of Sunrise Beach, born July 7, 1933 in Winterset, Iowa, the daughter of Earl E. and Hazel Roberts Crawford. She was united in marriage on July 13, 1952 in Winterset, Iowa with Maurice W. Wilson, who preceded her in death by an infant brother, Joe Phillip Crawford. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 26, at the Linn Creek Baptist Church, with Pastor Galen Markley and Pastor Clyde Leonard officiating. The Linn Creek Baptist Church Praise Team will sing “I Can Only Imagine”, “I’ll Fly Away”, “Amazing Grace”, and “One Day At A Time”. Cemetery in Laurie. Casketbearers will be Robert Wilson, Sean Wilson, Ryan Wilson, Jimmy Murphy, Krista Murphy, Rachel Murphy and Jacob Lopez. Katie Wilson will be an honorary casketbearer. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Lung Association or the American Heart Association. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the church. Tommy J. Richey
Tommy J. Richey, age 50, of Gravois Mills, born December 13, 1954 in Phoenix, Arizona, the son of J.D. Williams and Georgia Richey. Tommy was a heavy equipment operator and truck driver. He is survived by his mother, Georgia Phillips of the home; six sons, Shon, Tommy J., Thomas, Doug, Robert and Jessie Richey; and one daughter, Amy Richey. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 8, at the Versailles passed away Thursday, February 17, 2005 at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach. He was Interment will be in Garber Memorial Estates in Laurie. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Kidwell-Garber Laurie-Sunrise Beach Chapel in Laurie. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Laurie.

Donald E. Houchens
Donald E. Houchens, age 69, of Gravois Mills, born April 22, 1935 in Versailles, Missouri, the son of Earl Edward and Floy Etta Silvey Houchens. He was united in marriage to Donna Ruth Chamberlain on May 14, 1954. He was a member and elder of the First Christian Church, and was retired from the maintenance department at the Good Shepherd Care Center. He is survived by his wife Donna Houchens of the home; two sons Eddie Houchens and wife Bernie of Jefferson City, Missouri; Gary Houchens and wife Debbie of Waynesville, Missouri; one brother Larry Houchens of Versailles, Missouri; five grandchildren, Cherie, Tammie, Christie, Donnie, and David Houchens; one great-granddaughter Kirsten Houchens, many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, December 3, 2004 at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.

James Marvin Riggs
James Marvin Riggs, age 81, of Versailles, born September 4, 1923 in Morgan County, Missouri, the son of Osborn Lee and Lillie Mabel Broyles Riggs. He was united in marriage on March 12, 1944 with Dulcie Virginia Burk, who preceded him in married Lois Cable, who survives of the home. Marvin was an over the road truck driver for Jack Cooper Transport for 13 years, and later worked at Fasco Industries for 5 years, and was a custodian and bus driver for the Morgan County R-II School District in Versailles for 7 years. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and served in the South Pacific, member of the V.F.W. Post in Gravois Mills, and was a member and deacon of the First Baptist Church in Versailles. In addition to his wife Lois, he is survived by two sons, James Marvin Riggs Jr., of Merriam, Kansas, and Daniel Clifton Riggs of Eldon; three daughters, Debra Kay Squire, Sharon Lee Peters, and Dee Ann Bunch, all of Paris, Arkansas; two sisters, Flossie Stevenson Williams of Versailles, and Helen Coit of Stover; 12 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 3 step great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents and first wife he was preceded in Interment will be in the Versailles passed away Monday, November 22, 2004 at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. She was Interment will be in the Hopewell passed away Saturday evening, November 13, 2004 in Syracuse. He was born April 16, 1936 at St. Ansgar, Iowa, the son of Peter Lauritz and Grace Natalia Colbertsen Hansen. He was united in marriage on December 30, 1965 with Allene Sue Hodges. Mr. Hansen was retired from the U.S. Army and a member of the American Military Society. He is survived by his wife, Allene Sue Hansen of the home; two sons, William Allen Hansen of Lee’s Summit, and David Allen Hansen and wife Kimberly, of Tacoma, Washington; two brothers, David L. Hansen of Earlham, Iowa, and Laverne Nightingale of Climax Springs; one sister, Joyce N. Jones of Gilbert, Arizona; one granddaughter, Kolina L. Hansen, many other relatives and friends. Funeral services with military honors will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 18, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
