Virginia Estell Mastin
Virginia Estell Mastin, age 80, of Versailles, born June 1, 1924, in Branson, Missouri, the daughter of Marion and Hazel Henrietta Cathel Cox. Her step-father, George Brady, also played a very important role her life and the life of her children. She was united in marriage on March 7, 1946, to Franklin Henry Mastin, who preceded her in Interment will be at Garber Memorial Estates in Laurie. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1121 Business Loop 70 East, Columbia, Missouri 65201. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Laurie.

Aloise Mae “Loy” Palecek
Aloise Mae “Loy” Palecek, age 66, of Osage Beach, formerly of Versailles, born April 22, 1939 in Freemont, Nebraska, the daughter of Lada and Mildred Ruth Smith Palecek. Loy was a retired hairdresser and member of Grace Lutheran Church in Versailles. She is survived by one daughter, Jerelyn Vogt of Clinton; one brother, Robert Palecek and wife Elaine, of Oak Grove; two sisters, Cheryl Morris and husband Alan, of Versailles, and Darla Smith of Kaiser; one granddaughter, Mallory Kinner; 2 nieces, 5 nephews, several great nieces and great nephews, many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Grace Lutheran Church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.

Martha Ellen Polski
Martha Ellen Polski, age 86, of Gravois Mills, born November 18, 1918 in Woodward, Oklahoma, the daughter of Roy and Lenora Douglas Berrian. She was united in marriage to Frances Polski on February 17, 1942 and had one daughter. Martha went to nurses training in Tulsa, Oklahoma and during WW-II she was a army nurse. She was a superintendent on the O.B. floor at Independence Sanitarium for 30 years and retired in 1970 and moved to the lake with Fran. Martha was a member of D.A.R. and the May flower Club, she loved to sew and you could always find her in the garden or yard with her flowers. She is survived by her husband, Frances Polski of the home; one daughter Judy Dorsey of Kansas City; two grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Laurie. Following the visitation graveside services will be at Greenmore Memorial Gardens in Barnett, Missouri. Francis Lee Johnson II
Francis Lee Johnson II, age 52, of Kansas City, formerly of Versailles, born May 12, 1953 in Omaha, Nebraska, the son of Francis Lee and Ellen B. Laughead Johnson. He lived in Versailles most of his life and attended Morgan County R-II Schools, and later attended UMKC and received a degree. He worked for the Jackson County Public Administrators Office. He is survived by one sister, Carol Bradford of Columbia; his cousin, Jim Pendergraft of Versailles; nieces and nephews Katherine N. Forrest of Columbia, Lee Diekroeger of Jefferson City, Lori Ann Pendergraft and Brian Pendergraft, and their siblings; and one aunt, Janine Laughead of Falmouth, Massachusetts and her siblings. He was preceded in interment will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the Versailles passed away Monday evening, August 29, 2005 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She was death on April 14, 1998. Mrs. Steelman was a homemaker and member of the Fortuna Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Mark Steelman and wife Glenna, of Barbourville, Kentucky, and Troy Steelman and wife Michelle, of Tipton; one daughter, Lorna Moss and husband Danny, of Fortuna; seven brothers, Harold, Edwin, and Fred Wagenschutz of Petosky, MI; Max Wagenschutz of Alanson, MI, John Wagenschutz of Flushing, MI, Richard Wagenschutz of Rockford, MI, and Wilbur Wagenschutz of Marshall, MI; five sisters, Hilda Grossman and Barbara McKaye, of Alanson, MI, Wilma Powers of Burton, MI, Dorothy Honeysettle of Carp Lake, MI, and Patty Steffle of Petosky, MI; step brothers, James Stradling of Petosky, MI, John Stradling of Grayling, MI, William Stradling of Boyne Falls, MI, and Richard Stradling of Conway, MI, 7 grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in Interment will be in the Newkirk passed away Saturday afternoon, September 10, 2005 at Eldon Nursing and Rehabilitation in Eldon. He was death on September 9, 1966. On October 17, 1973 he death by three sons, Clifford, Curtis and Leo Hayes, and seven brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 13, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.

Virginia Rebeck Parrino
Virginia Rebeck Parrino, age 81, of Gravois Mills, born December 11, 1923, in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of George and Clara Bloskey Rebeck. She was death. Virginia grew up on Strawberry Hill in Kansas City, Kansas. She was a homemaker and an avid bowler. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, August 27, 2005, at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
