Mildred Chapman
Mildred Chapman, age 65, of Versailles, born August 18, 1939 at Flemming, Kentucky. She was the daughter of Arthur and Martha Hicks. She was preceded in Interment will be in the Chapman passed away Wednesday morning, March 30, 2005 at the Laurie Care Center in Laurie. She was death on June 19, 1995. Don and Mary owned and operated Laurie Lanes Bowling Alley and Dogwood Concrete in Laurie for many years. She was a member of Kent Memorial Lutheran Church in Sunrise Beach, and the B.P.W. She is survived by two sons, Mark Carrell and Matthew Carrell, of Gravois Mills; two sisters, June Stewart of Kansas City, and Frankie Basse of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in Interment will be in Garber Memorial Estates passed away Thursday morning, March 31, 2005 at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach. She was death by one son, Alan Hathorn. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Monday, April 4, at the Kidwell-Garber Laurie-Sunrise Beach Chapel in Laurie. The family suggests memorials to the Osage Community Elks Lodge #2705 in Laurie. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Laurie.

Price E. Allee
Price E. Allee, age 89, of Versailles, born on February 14, 1916, in Morgan County, the son of Jesse Lee and Jessie Merle Price Allee. He was united in marriage on December 29, 1946, in Versailles, with Billie Bellamy. Price was an over the road truck driver for Jack Cooper Transport in Kansas City, Missouri for several years until his retirement. He enjoyed making floats for the American Royal and enjoyed helping with bingo when he lived in Raytown, Missouri. In Versailles, he had Price’s Taxi Service, and loved taking care of the yard for the flea market. He was also a member of the Lions club in Raytown and Versailles. In addition to his wife Billie of 58 years, he is survived by one brother, Gene Allee of Boonville; one sister Helen Kinsel of Columbus, Ohio; and many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in Interment will be in the Versailles passed away Wednesday evening, March 30, 2005 at his home. He was death. He later death by two brothers Eugene Boro and John Jr. Boro. A celebration of life will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday April 2, 2005 at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles with Chaplain Doug Loped and Chaplain Chris McCutchen officiating. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.

Marjorie Beatrice Vencil
Marjorie Beatrice Vencil age 89, of Kansas City MO, born March 14, 1916 in Purdin, MO, the daughter of B.W. and Edna Stanturf Tattershall. She was united in marriage to Basil Twitchel in 1945. In 1958 she death on August 8, 2003. Marjorie worked in the printing department at High Quality Card Company and also worked for North American Aircraft during WW-II. She enjoyed fishing, camping, crocheting, gardening, playing music and everybody enjoyed her cooking. She attended the Ozark Chapel United Methodist Church in Laurie and was a member of the Sunrise Beach Extension Club. She is survived by “her little girl” Barbara Wagner and Willie of Kansas City, KS; Barbara’s children Missy and Rick Holzrichter, Scott and Kim Wagner and Debbie Wagner all of Kansas City KS; Barbara’s grandchildren, Merek and Kari Holzrichter, Wyatt and Sela Wagner. Marjorie is also survived by one step-daughter Vicki and Clinton Shipp of St. Joseph, MO; two grandsons Vince and Janene Shipp of Trimble, MO, Randy and April Shipp of Webb City, MO; four great-grandchildren Shannon, Zack, Jake and Felecia Shipp; one sister Betty Miller of Fruita, CO; one brother Richard and Donna Tattershall of Shawnee, KS; three sisters-in-law Bertha Twitchel of Kansas City, KS, Hazel Twitchel of Gladstone, MO, Edna Tattershall of Keystone Heights, Fl; one brother-in-law John Burns of Camdenton, MO, nieces and nephews, Becky LaRock, Judy Newland, Nancy Wardwell, Donald, Gary and Roger Twitchel, many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husbands she was preceded in Cemetery in Laurie. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Children’s Mercy Hospital Kansas City, Missouri. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Laurie-Sunrise Beach Chapel. (573) 374-7688

Robert D. Springer
Robert D. Springer, age 79, of Buffalo, Missouri, born March 22, 1925 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of John and Jessie Alice Lawless Springer. He was a maintenance worker for St. Patrick Catholic Church in Laurie, worked for the Grandview Police Department and was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WW-II and served in the Pacific and Japan. Mr. Springer is survived by two sons, Bob Watts of Granite Bay, California, Thomas Watts of Houston, Texas; one daughter Beverly Lunday of Houston, Texas; one niece Jackie Barnette of Fort Smith, Arkansas, many other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at the St. Patrick Cemetery in Laurie with Leo Baxter officiating. Memorial Contributions are suggested to the Shrine of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Laurie-Sunrise Beach Chapel. (573) 374-7688
