Gloria C. Barhite
Gloria C. Barhite, age 62, of Gravois Mills, born October 5, 1942 in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Salvator and Catherine Chiarello Libutti. She was united in marriage to David Barhite in 1980 at Westminster, Colorado. Mrs. Barhite was a self employed accountant and bookkeeper and member of the Elks Lodge #2705. She is survived by her husband David Barhite of the home; two daughters Kristine Hansen and husband Gary of Gravois Mills, Kathleen Gleason and husband John of Arvada, Colorado; one brother Salvator Libutti of Mission Viejo, California; seven grandchildren Jeffrey Gleason, John Lombardi, Nick Lombardi, Katherine Lombardi, Jesse Hansen, Heather Hansen, and Jessie Herndon; one great-grandchild Alexis Hansen, many other relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Laurie with Pastor Nick Stutesman officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Gloria C. Barhite will be cremated following services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Laurie-Sunrise Beach Chapel (573) 374-7688

Kathryn E. Carter
Kathryn E. Carter, age 76, of Gravois Mills born November 16, 1928 in Ames, Iowa, the daughter of John and Idella Wastun Auld. She was united in marriage in Des Moines, Iowa, on August 26, 1949 to Don Carter. Mrs. Carter was a member of the Kent Memorial Lutheran Church in Sunrise Beach. She enjoyed reading, puzzles and sewing. She is survived by her husband of 56 years Don Carter of the home; one son Doug Carter of Colony, Kansas; one daughter Donna Westerman of Colony, Kansas; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild, many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in passed away Friday morning, March 11, 2005 at the Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles. She was death on December 20, 1989. Mrs. Janicke graduated from Oak Hill High School and was a homemaker. She is survived by one son, Vernon Wayne Janicke of Camdenton; one daughter, Florence Evadine Janicke of Vandalia, and many friends. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, at the Kidwell-Garber Laurie-Sunrise Beach Chapel in Laurie, with Pastor Ray Powell officiating. Cemetery near Sunrise Beach. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Laurie.

Sarah Lucille Clark
Sarah Lucille Clark, age 97, of Barnett, born August 11, 1907 in Pickett County, Tennessee, the daughter of Mark and Laura Pierce Groce. Mrs. Clark was a homemaker, and enjoyed playing cards and crossword puzzles. She is survived by three sons, Junior Clark of Kerns, Texas, Stanley Clark of Barnett, and Henry Clark of Estill Springs, Tennessee; three daughters, Joyce Sullins of Eldon, Dimple Sullins of Barnett, and Darlene Carmichael of Columbia, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in passed away Sunday, March 13, 2005, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia. Pam was death by her father on June 30, 1984, and her fiancé Kenny Joe Fields on May 3, 2002. Immediate survivors include her mother, Wanda Klein of Versailles; two sons, Scott Williams and his girlfriend Stephanie Smith of California, MO, and Brian Williams and his wife Alena of Olathe, KS; three brothers, Cloyce Klein and his wife Lora of Eldon, MO, Rodney Klein of Ozark, MO, and Darren Klein and his wife Karen of Columbia, MO; and one granddaughter, Airianna Williams of California, MO. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles, with Rev. Todd Forman officiating. Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or the First Baptist Church in Versailles. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles.

John L. Bishop
John L. Bishop, age 90, of Versailles, born March 28, 1914 at Eldon, Missouri, the son of Robert and Mary Hayes Bishop. He was united in marriage on October 5, 1940 with Lucille Troutman. John worked for Kansas City Bifocal in Versailles for 33 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Versailles, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and member of the American Legion for 60 years. He is survived by his wife, Lucille Bishop of the home; one son, J.C. Bishop and wife Jane, of Oak Grove; one daughter, Marsha Trent and husband Dan, of Lee’s Summit; one sister, Mildred Price of Tipton; five grandchildren, Kevin Trent¸ Nathaniel Trent, Jacob Bishop, Melanie Crawford, and David Bishop; five great-grandchildren, Cassie Pellegrino, Thomas Crawford, Austin Bishop, Emily Trent, and Tyler Trent; a step great-granddaughter, Madison Moore; and one great-great-grandson, Korben Pellegrino, many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in interment will be in the Versailles passed away Friday, March 4, 2005 at the Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles. She was death. Mrs. Lochiatto owned and operated a lodge and hotel, was of the Catholic faith and went to school at Berlin High School. She is survived by two grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in Cemetery in Gravois Mills with Reverend Danny Owsley officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
