Orville Virgil Sauerwein
Orville Virgil Sauerwein, age 77, of Stover, born December 10, 1927 at New Athens, Illinois, the son of Joseph Christian and Alma Anna Winkler Sauerwein. Mr. Sauerwein was a retired chemist and had worked for Dow Chemical Company, Granite City Tool, and McDonell Douglas. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, member of the Corpus Christi Church of Shiloh, Illinois for 25 years, and member of the Moose Lodge in Belleville. He enjoyed fishing, camping, the outdoors, and his pet dog Johnnie. He is survived by two brothers, Roger Sauerwein of Belleville, Illinois, and Glenn Sauerwein of Walsh, Illinois; one sister, Barbara Wood of Moline, Illinois; his niece that cared for him in her home, Ann Hartleb of Stover, many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in Cemetery in St. Louis. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Corpus Christi Church in Shiloh, Illinois. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.

James Mack “Jim” Burgess
James Mack “Jim” Burgess, age 64, of Sunrise Beach, born June 22, 1941 in Bokchito, Oklahoma, the son of Coley M. and Beulah M. Brackett Burgess. He death by one brother, Billy Don Burgess on March 25, 2005. Graveside services and entombment will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 22, at Garber Memorial Estates Columbarium in Laurie, with Pastor Nick Stutesman officiating. Memorial contributions are suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Laurie.

Neil O. Richeson
Neil O. Richeson, age 73, of Sunrise Beach, born December 13, 1931 in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Harry A. and Cecelia Fox Richeson. He was united in marriage on January 16, 1965 with Verla M. Bierd Dunfee. Mr. Richeson was an electrician for Owens Corning in Kansas City, Kansas for several years prior to moving to the Lake of the Ozarks in 1979, where he was an electrician and partner with Richeson Electric Inc. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Thunderbird Classic Car Club. He enjoyed the Lake of the Ozarks, and classic cars, especially his 1957 Ford Thunderbird. He is survived by his wife, Verla M. Richeson of the home; three sons, Clifford Dunfee of Kansas City, Dennis Richeson of Sunrise Beach, and Kevin Richeson of Dallas, Texas; one daughter, Kathi Richeson of Kansas City; one brother, Harry Richeson of Mission, Kansas; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, many other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in Interment will be in the Rock Dale passed away Saturday morning, October 1, 2005 at his home. He was death. Mr. Loucks worked for Burlington Northern Railroad and retired as Regional Manager of Labor Relations in Denver. He was a U.S. Army/Navy veteran, member of the Osage Community Elks Lodge #2705 in Laurie, the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite, Shrine Club, and the American Legion. He is survived by one son, Larry Loucks of Hastings, Nebraska; one granddaughter, Payton Loucks of Hastings, Nebraska; one brother, one sister, many other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held at a later date at the Osage Community Elks Lodge in Laurie. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.

Nadean Kindle
Nadean Kindle, age 83, of Versailles, born March 22, 1922 at Irontown, MO, the daughter of James Peter and Flossie Kincaid Roll. She was united in marriage on July 16, 1940 with Homer F. Kindle, who preceded her in death by two brothers, Peter Ira Roll and Finas H. Roll, and one sister, Nettie Williams. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles, with Rev. Rod Campbell officiating. Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.

Emma Jean Turpin
Emma Jean Turpin, age 79, of Sedalia, born November 1, 1925 in Morgan County, Missouri, the daughter of Nelson and Laura Ratcliff Moore. She was united in marriage on April 7, 1952 with Johnie F. Turpin, who preceded her in death by one brother, Arthur, and two sisters, Peggy and Dorothy. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 13, at the Hickman passed away Saturday, October 1, 2005 at the Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles. She was death on February 5, 1979. Mrs. Belger was a retired waitress. She is survived by one daughter, Laura (Parris) Fogarty and companion Brian Henningsen, of Jefferson City, and one grandchild, Austin. Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 4, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles, with Dr. Todd Forman officiating. The vocal selection of “How Great Thou Art” was sung. Arrangements were under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Versailles.
