LINDA JEAN LOGAN-KRITZER

Wednesday, May 19, 1948 - Friday, March 25, 2016

Linda Jean Logan, 67, of Fulton left her earthly body on Friday, March 25, 2016 while surrounded by loved ones.

She was born on May 19, 1948 at home in Montgomery County, the daughter of the late Robert Nutter and the late Lucille (Angel) Nutter.

On August 12, 2006, Linda was united in marriage to Donald “Doc” Kritzer. He survives her passing.

Following graduation from Bowling Green High School, Linda received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Missouri. For 13 years, she taught Business Education, primarily at North Callaway High School, where she was also the FBLA Advisor. Linda began her career at Westminster College in the Student Development Center in 1993. In 1997, she became the Executive Assistant to the Vice President and Dean of Student Life where she remained for the remainder of her 20 plus years with Westminster College. Along with her daily duties, she served as the Phi Beta Lamda advisor.

As a 4-H Leader, Linda began clowning. She enjoyed it so much she continued to clown as Rosie for many years, mostly volunteering for children’s events, Relay for Life, and Auxvasse Creative Arts Program. She served as a Kingdom of Callaway Chamber Ambassador, was a volunteer for Central Missouri Honor Flight, and was a member of the Fulton Street Fair Parade Committee. Linda was always quick with a smile, a hug, and kind word but even quicker to tell stories or show photographs of her beautiful granddaughters, whom she adored.

Those remaining to cherish her memory include her husband, Doc; son, Matthew Logan (Leah) of Pleasant Hill; daughter, Melissa Lin (Rob) of Sacramento, Ca.; step-son, Darren Kritzer of Roeland Park, Ks.; step-daughters, Kimberly Kritzer of Fulton, and Tammy Kritzer of New Orleans; brothers, James Nutter of Middleton, Richard Nutter (Diane) of New Sharon, Ia., and Mick Nutter (Susan) of Springfield, Mo.; and her beloved granddaughters, Sydney Lin and Mackenzie Lin of Sacramento, and Lillie Logan of Pleasant Hill.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 54 Country, 400 Gaylord Drive in Fulton with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton. Entombment will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Memorial donations are suggested to Central Missouri Honor Flight or Cycle for Survival, which allocates 100% of donations to rare cancer research (Team Syd and Spin), c/o Maupin Funeral Home, 301 Douglas Boulevard, Fulton, MO 65251.

JESSE WHITE

Friday, July 9, 1943 - Tuesday, March 22, 2016

Jesse Dale White, 72, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Fulton Manor.

He was born July 9, 1943 in Kansas City, Mo., the son of the late Walter White and the late Bonnie (Cyrus) White.

Jesse was united in marriage to Ruth Harrison on September 26, 1975. She preceded him in death on December 27, 2013.

Jesse enjoyed arrowhead hunting, watching the St. Louis Cardinals, Missouri Tigers and NASCAR races. He enjoyed socializing on Tuesdays at the Thirsty Hog and going to the VFW.

He is survived by son, James D. White of Kansas; daughter, Heidi Cissna (Duff) of Kansas City, Ks.; step-sons, Larry Harrison (Sharon) of Port Charlotte, Fl., and Donald Harrison (Aimee) of Sturgeon; step-daughter, Donna Gentry (Bob) of Hatton; sister, Joyce King (Lonnie) of Pleasant Valley; grandchildren, Michelle Strode (Jeremiah), and Michael Gentry of Auxvasse, Kristin Harrison, Ashley Harrison (Josh), Cortney Walters (Bennett), all of Florida, Alisha Meyer (Steve) of St. Louis, Ryan Harrison of Alaska, Jordan Olmstead of Sturgeon, Megan, James Dale and Amber White of Kansas; and great-grandchildren, Miah, Ashlyn, Rylan, Reagan, Ella, and Layla.

Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by brothers, Charles and Lester.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 25, 2016 at Auxvasse cemetery with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating.

The family suggests memorial donations be made in Jesse’s name to VFW Post 2657, c/o Maupin Funeral Home, 301 Douglas Boulevard, Fulton, MO 65251.

JESSIE L. BARTLEY

MAY 3, 1939 - SEPTEMBER 18, 2017

Jessie L. Bartley, 78, of Mokane passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017 at Capital Region Medical Center.

She was born in Fulton on May 3, 1939, the daughter of the late Joseph Milton Taylor and the late Mildred Pauline (Holzhauser) Taylor.

On March 21, 1959, Jessie was united in marriage to Richard “Bee” Bartley. He preceded her in death on December 29, 2015.

Jessie retired from Callaway Bank following 36 years of employment. She loved to be outdoors and riding horses. Spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her a great deal of pleasure.

Jessie will be greatly missed by her family, including son, Rick Bartley (Robin) of Tebbetts; daughters, Cindy Warden of Mokane, and Karen Pickering (Bob) of Frankford, Mo.; brothers, James Taylor (Debbie) of Mokane; Jerry Taylor of Holts Summit, and Jack Taylor (Nina) of Jefferson City; sisters, Jo Anne Clingman (Carl) of Steedman, Juanita Clingman (Jerry) of Steedman, and Janice Miller (Johnny) of Fulton; and grandchildren, Jessica Parker, Jona Warden, Dani Schmidbauer, Chelsie Bartley, Meagan Vandelicht, and Tyler Bartley; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and husband, Jessie was preceded in death by a brother, John Taylor.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Steedman cemetery.

JIMMY DALE SCHAEFER

October 21, 1985 - September 11, 2016

Jimmy Dale Schaefer, 30, of Williamsburg passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2016.

He was born on October 21, 1985 in Fulton, the son of Norman Schaefer and Mary (Fennel) Schaefer.

Jimmy graduated from North Callaway High School and went on to complete his education at Nashville Auto Diesel College. He was employed at True Manufacturing. Jimmy was your typical country boy who loved hunting, fishing, riding horses, bonfires, country music, and having a beer.

Those remaining to mourn his passing include his parents, Norman and Mary of Williamsburg; son, William Mathen Schaefer of NE; brother, Doug Schaefer of Williamsburg; sister, Tammy (Curtis) Raithel of Russellville, their children, Ann and Kyle; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; numerous friends; and special friend, Vicky Maddox.

Jimmy was preceded in death by grandparents, Brooks and Frances Fennel, and William and Barbara Schaefer; and uncle, Karl Schaefer.

Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2016 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Mike Crowson officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Memorial donations are suggested to Maupin Funeral Home, 301 Douglas Boulevard, Fulton, MO 65251, for a fund that will be set up for Jimmy’s son.

JOHN O. TWITCHELL

DECEMBER 7, 1946 - SEPTEMBER 6, 2017

John O. Twitchell, 70, of Fulton passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics.

He was born in Fulton on December 7, 1946, the son of the late Jesse E. Twitchell and the late Helen (Salmons) Twitchell.

John proudly serviced his country in the United States Army, serving in the Vietnam War. He retired from Fulton State Hospital. He enjoyed playing cards and loved to get in the car and go to different places.

Those remaining to cherish his memory include sons, John E. Twitchell (Jonee Shackelford) of Fulton, and Ben Twitchell of Fulton; daughter, Christina Twitchell (Eric) of Mexico; brother, Eddie Twitchell (Kathie) of Fulton; sister, Trudy Witt of Fulton; girlfriend, Pat Collins and her family; grandchildren, Steven and Ryan Buchanan, Jonathan, Mason, and Samantha Twitchell, and Austin and Chance Parks (Owie); and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Mike Crowson officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

LOLA MAE BLACK

Wednesday, August 15, 1934 - Monday, February 22, 2016

Lola Mae Vaughn Black, 80, of Fulton was called to her Heavenly home on Monday, February 22, 2016.

Lola Mae was born on August 5, 1935 in Hatton, the daughter of the late Irvin Lee and the late Viola (Lawson) Lee.

Lola Mae was united in marriage to Robert Eugene Vaughn, Sr. He preceded her in death.

Lola Mae was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Prior to retirement, she worked as a Security Aide at Fulton State Hospital for 35 years and also at Kingdom Nursing Home and Presbyterian Manor. Lola loved going to rummage sales, doing laundry, shopping, and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren. On occasion, she loved cooking and talking trash. No one could do her hair like Art Jackson. She also enjoyed listening to Lincoln, watching The Young and the Restless, and especially family gatherings.

Those remaining to cherish her memory include sons, Todd Lee, Charles Vaughn, Ronald Vaughn (Delores), Robert Vaughn, Jr., Walter Vaughn, and Larry Vaughn, Sr. (Carolyn), all of Fulton; daughters, Rita Vaughn (Kenneth Simmons), Vanessa Gillette (Larry), Audrey Vaughn (Donnie Nevins), and Donna Pittman (Bradley), all of Fulton; brothers, Garney Lee of Fulton, and Ronnie Lee, Sr., both of Fulton; sisters, Bonnie Morgan of Columbia, Carolyn Lee of Springfield, Il., and Willa Day of Springfield, Il; in-laws, Howard Vaughn, Jack McBride, Mary Louise Wiggins, Thelma Colbert, and Goldie Vaughn; twenty-eight grandchildren; fifty great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and husband, Lola Mae was preceded in death by brothers, James Lee, Robert Eugene Lee Sr., Robert D. Lee, and William Junior Lee; sisters, Ethel Holt, Bernice Thompson, Margaret Cave, Leola Davis, and Betty Lee; and grandson, Russell E Gillette.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Victory Fellowship with Rev. Melvin McCaleb officiating and Rev. Larry Vaughn, Jr. delivering the words of comfort. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time service at the church. Interment will be in Southside cemetery. Repast will follow immediately at VFW Hall 2657.
