Matilda M. (Bragg) Moon

LARGO, FL - Matilda M. (Bragg) Moon, 84 of Largo, FL passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL. Mrs. Moon was born on September 16, 1923 in New Paltz, NY. She was a member of St. Jeromes Catholic Church. Surviving is a son, Fred Bragg of Gardiner, NY; two daughters, Sandy (Carl) Warner of Largo, FL and Judy (Robert) Pardo of Orlando, FL.; and 10 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. One daughter, Maryann Linde preceded in death. Friends are calling Sunday, June 8, 2008 from 2 to 8pm and Funeral Services will be 9:30am, Monday, June 9, 2008, all at the Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL.

Katharine S. Waters

WOODBURY - Mrs. Katharine (Stevens) Waters, 94, died Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at the Lutheran Home of Southbury. Mrs. Waters was born May 23, 1914 in Spirit Lake, SD, daughter of the late Olaf James and Eleanor (Shea) Stevens. She was a graduate of Wappingers Falls High School and attended SUNY Albany. She resided in Woodbury for over 28 years, previously living in New Milford, Danbury and Brookfield. During WWII, she worked for Chance Vought in Stratford as an airplane blueprint inspector. Mrs. Waters was employed by Data Control Systems for many years. She retired at age 70 as head of payroll from Graphic Sciences, Burroughs/Unisys after many years of service. Mrs. Waters was office manager for Waters Construction for many years. Mrs. Waters was Vice President of the PTA in New Milford for several years and was a girl scout leader for many years. Having volunteered for the Salvation Army in New Milford, she was in charge and leader of their fundraisers. She was member of the New Milford Congregational Church where she was superintendent of Sunday School, a member of the Danbury Professional & Business Women for many years. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting, crocheting and cooking. She is survived by two daughters, Gail Rahal of Oakville, CT and Deborah Fish of Woodbury, CT, three grandchildren, Jennifer Fish Kaiser, Katharine Fish Falotico and David Fish and five great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sisters, Frances Dingee and Mary Hastings. A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at North Congregational Church, 11 Main St. North Woodbury. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private in New North Cemetery, Woodbury. Contributions may be made to the Lutheran Home of Southbury, 990 Main St. North, Southbury, CT 06488.

WAGNER, ANNE

Anne Wagner, age 87, a longtime resident of Bedford died suddenly on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at Northern Westchester Hospital Center, Mount Kisco. Mrs. Wagner was born January 28, 1921 the daughter of Gustav and Elizabeth (Biebert) Lipinsky. She was happily married to Charles Wagner on July 1, 1950 in Glendale, Queens. She was a graduate of Hunter College and received her Masters degree from NY University. Anne was employed as a Kindergarten teacher for the White Plains Public School System. Prior to White Plains, she taught at several Lutheran Parochial Schools and she was the principal of the Middle Patent School, a two room school house in Banksville, NY. Throughout her retirement, she was an avid weaver and teacher of historical baskets and had a special love for Shaker baskets. She loved to exercise regularly at the Saw Mill River Club. She was an active member of the Croton Falls Community Church. Anne is the beloved wife of Charles Wagner and was the loving mother of Amy Markland (Keith) of Poughkeepsie, NY, Mark Wagner (Liz) of Brewster, NY and Pastor Timothy Wagner (Vincent Hutchings) of Croton Falls, NY. She was the devoted grandmother of Kathleen and Madeline Wagner. She is survived by her nieces, Linda Swawola and her son Richard and nephews, Arthur Groff (Barbara) and Edward Groff (Frankie), Phil, Raymond and Robert (Clara) Lipinsky and Gwen Pirovitz and Reed Lipinsky. Friends may call at CLARK ASSOCIATES FUNERAL HOME, KATONAH, NY on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service will be at the Croton Falls Community Church on Sunday at 5:00 PM. Private interment will be in Beechwood Cemetery, New Rochelle. She had a kind and gentle spirit and was a faithful servant of the Lord. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. John R. DiLorenzo
(June 30, 1927 - August 9, 2012)

John R. DiLorenzo 85, of Sag Harbor, NY passed away on August 9, 2012 at Southampton Hospital. John was born on June 30, 1927 to Vincent and Jeanette (DeRenzis) DiLorenzo in New York City. During World War II he proudly served his Country with the US Marines. On April 26, 1958 he married Elaine Schultz in Chicago, ILL. Before retiring he was a self- employed Graphic Designer in, New York City and Yonkers, NY. He was also employed as an Art Director in Pleasantville, NY. He is survived by his devoted wife Elaine, his two loving daughters; Christine Lombardi and Valerie DiLorenzo and four adoring grandchildren; Ariana DiLorenzo, Ian DiLorenzo, Vincent DiLorenzo and Thomas Lombardi. He is predeceased by his beloved son John Eric DiLorenzo and his brother George DiLorenzo. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. at Cargain Funeral Homes, Inc., 418 Route Six, Mahopac, NY 10541. A Mass of Christian burial will be on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at St. James the Apostle Church 14 Gleneida Avenue Carmel, NY 10512. Interment will follow to Ferncliff Cemetery, 280 Secor Road, Hartsdale, NY 10530. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Mr. DiLorenzo's name can be made to: American Legion, Chelbertg Battle Post #388, 26 Bay Street - POB 541, Sag Harbor, NY 11963.

WINCHELL, DOROTHY

Dorothy Winchell of Shrub Oak and Katonah, NY died on Thursday October 2, 2008. Mrs. Winchell was born in New York, NY, the daughter of the late Thomas and Frances (Dorney) Lyons. Devoted wife of the late Charles. Beloved mother of Virginia Hickey (Robert) and Christopher Winchell (Nancy). Loving grandmother of Kristin Lawton, Quincy Lawton; Scott Hickey (Kim Brown), Kimberly Winchell; Christian Winchell; Kate Winchell and Clare Winchell. Loving great grandmother of Jack Lawton. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Rd, Katonah, NY. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday 10:00 AM at. St Mary of the Assumption R.C. Church, 117 Valley Rd, Katonah. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

BALDUCCI, LUCY

Lucy Balducci of Suffern, NY passed away September 15, 2008 at the age of 74. Lucy was born January 2, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY to Saverio and Louise Balducci, and was a Suffern resident for 24 years and a member of the Town of Ramapo Senior Citizens Club. She is survived by her Devoted husband of 47 years Michael, one daughter Grace Nuzback and her husband Jerry, two sons Joseph Balducci and his wife Danielle, and Thomas Balducci and his wife Wendy, four grandsons, Christopher, and Michael Nuzback, and Joseph Jr. and Michael Balducci, and one brother Lou Balducci survive her, she was pre-deceased by one brother Al. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Friday September 19, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Suffern died Thursday, September 11, 2008 at Waccamaw Community Hospital. Born in Port Chester, NY a son of John Salvatore and Barbara Belfatto. Christopher was a Chef at Austins in Pawleys Island, SC. He was a parishioner of Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 11028. Surviving in addition to his parents are one brother: John Belfatto and wife, Mary Beth and many extended family members. Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, September 20, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church. Directed by Goldfinch Funeral Home, Litchfield- Pawleys Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Litchfield-Pawleys Chapel. Memorials may be made in memory of Chris to: Camp Merry Times/Friends of Santa Claus, 2385 Cross Timber Dr., Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464.
