Flynn, Alice M. Formerly of Centereach, LI, peacefully on January 28, 2008. Wife of the late Edward J. Flynn. Mother of Diane Hackett, Mary (Mike) Farrell, Kerry (Kevin) Berry, Kathleen (Tom) O'Toole, Edward (Kelly) Flynn, Grandmother of sixteen, sister of George W. Connors. Calling hours at the Fred H. McGrath and Son Funeral Home between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9pm Tuesday. Mass of Christian passed away on January 26, 2008 at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City. Joe was born June 7, 1951 in Port Chester, NY to John and Florence Curcuruto. He is survived by the two loves of his life, his wife Sharon and his son Ryan, both of Greenwich. Joe is also survived by his mother Florence Curcuruto and brother John Curcuruto (Sue) both of Port Chester, NY and his extended family Joan and George York of Celebration, FL, Carol Hardesty of Greenwich, CT, Elaine and John Crawford of Norwalk, CT and many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 5-9 PM on Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at the Castiglione Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Avenue, Greenwich, CT. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30AM on Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at Sacred Heart Church, Henry Street, Byram, CT. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Greenwich, CT. VIANI, ALFRED

Alfred Viani long-time resident of White Plains and former superintendent of Edgebrook Estates, died peacefully on February 29th at the home of his daughter in Valley Stream, NY. Fred was 90 years old and a WW II veteran. He was predeceased by his wife Ella and daughter Carol, and is survived by his children Kathleen, Joseph, and Aqualina, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be offered in his honor on Saturday March 8 from 4 to 7 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, 54 West Jamaica Avenue, Valley Stream, NY 11580. In lieu of flowers, pleased make a donation to your preferred charity for veterans.

CONKLIN, ROBERT

Robert M. Conklin, 82, died January 27, 2008. He was a Peekskill resident, former Taxi Driver and U.S. Army Veteran. Robert is survived by his wife, Virginia Roberts Conklin, children; Sylvanus, Gary, Charles, Veronica and Mary Conklin, Sherryl Serricchio and Barbara Faby, 18 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. FLANAGAN, JANICE

Janice Flanagan, 85, died January 28, 2008. She was the widow of Edward "Ned" Flanagan, whom she married September 13, 1952 in St. Helena's Church in the Bronx. She worked as a Trust Officer for CitiBank in Manhattan. Janice was a long-time member of the Dobbs Ferry Woman's Club and the Dobbs Ferry American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by her nieces Barrie Simpson and Judith A. (Robert) Nussbaum and a grand-nephew Brian (Brenda) Simpson. Funeral service 10 AM Thursday, Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home. VALENTI, PARINA

Parina Valenti (nee Renzi) of Yonkers died on Saturday March 1, 2008 at the age 84. Born on March 30, 1923 to Rafael and Pia (Bottiglia) Renzi in Yonkers where she was raised and attended local schools. Mrs. Valenti was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church. She is survived by her sisters Jean Germano of Yonkers and Antoinette DeNisco of California and two brothers Ralph Renzi of Florida and Salvatore Renzi of Upstate, NY. She is predeceased by her sister Laura Rubino. Visiting Hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. GIANNONI, MICHAEL J.

Michael J. Giannoni, 53, passed away at home, on January 27, 2008, surrounded by his family. He was born in Mt. Vernon, NY on October 29, 1954 to Mary Sgammato and the late Julian Giannoni. On September 13, 1980, Dobbs Ferry, NY; He married Susan Fearon, who survives him at home. Michael owned and operated his own home restoration business. He was an accomplished all natural bodybuilder, earning himself many titles including the Mr. World All Natural in 1988 and 1990. Along with his wife of 27 yrs. and his mother of Spring Hill, FL; Michael is the proud father of Jason, Sabrina, Luke, and Lily Giannoni. He is survived by his brother: Antoine (Cheryl) Giannoni, Eastchester, NY; his sister: Deborah (Henry) Giannoni-Jackson of Gaithersburg, MD. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Lauren, Antoine, Adam, Jamie, Carrie, Tom, Jessie, Joshua, Samson; several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends. He was loved and an inspiration to all who knew him, and will be forever missed. Calling hours will be held on January 29th from 4-8 pm at the Auchmoody Funeral Home, 1028 Main Street, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on January 30th, 11:00 am at St. John the Evangelist, Beacon, followed by interment in St. Joachim Cemetery, Beacon.

LEICHTER, FIGLIOLA

Louise Figliola passed away peacefully in her home in Heritage Hills on January 28th at the age of 76. Louise was born in Manhattan on June 20, 1931 and grew up in the Bronx, NY. On October 16, 1954 she married her husband Robert at St. Anselm Church in the Bronx. They resided in the Bronx until 1966, when they moved their family to Shenorock, NY. Louise has lived in Somers ever since. Louise is predeceased by her husband Robert, and her grandson Robert. She is survived by her five children: Bruce Leichter and his wife Eileen of Carmel, NY; Robert Leichter of Las Vegas, NV; Louise Dunnigan and her husband Edward of Wappinger Falls, NY; Barbara Leichter of Shenorock, NY ; David Leichter and his wife Syndi of Moheghan Lake, NY, and 8 grandchildren. Louise worked for the Somers School District for twenty-three years. After her retirement she enjoyed traveling with her girlfriends; crocheting, playing mahjong, bridge, pokeno and her personal favorite, the one arm bandits. Her most enjoyable moments were spent with her family, especially at her house on Sundays, where there was always an abundance of her Italian cooking and her heartfelt love. Visitation will be at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday at 10 am at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Croton Falls.
