VELETTO, FRANK

Frank J. Veletto, of Pleasantville, NY, died May 2, 2008. He was 93. Husband of the late Dorothy F. (Marschke). Father of Frank J. Veletto, Jr. and Anne T. Stolk. Grandfather of Jasmin Stolk and Erika Veletto. His grandson Kristofer Veletto predeceased him in 1998. Calling hours Tuesday 3-5 PM at Beecher Funeral Home, Inc., Pleasantville, NY. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 10 AM, Holy Innocents Church, Pleasantville, NY. Interment Fair Ridge Cemetery, Chappaqua, NY.

ANTINUCCI, LILY

Lily Antinucci, age 90, of Katonah died Wednesday, April 9, 2008. She was born in Co. Louth, Ireland. She worked as a housekeeper and cook for a variety of interesting people and achieved notable local reputation as a talented cook. Throughout her life, she was a great reader and crossword enthusiast.Gardening was a great pleasure to her and she was naturally good with plants. In recent years, she was a devoted caregiver to her husband, Frank, whom she leaves behind. Lily is also survived by her daughter, Marie, two grandsons, Evan and Dallas Dunn, one niece and one nephew and sister of Angela Murphy, Agnes Casey and Michael Clinton, all of Ireland. Friends may call on Monday from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at Clark Associates Funeral Home, Katonah, NY. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10:00 am at St. Mary Of The Assumption R C Church, Katonah. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Mount Kisco. BRIDGES, ROBERT B.

Robert B. Bridges, 83 died on Monday, April 7, 2008 at Auburn Memorial Hospital. Mr. Bridges was born in Port Chester, NY the son of the late Mae Isabelle (Irving) and Sylvester B. Bridges. He graduated from White Plains High School "Class of 1942” and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was formerly employed by the Westchester County Department of Social Services as a Director of Administration for over 37 years. In addition, he was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans (D.A.V.) and past president of the N.Y.S. Public Welfare Accountant Association. He also was an avid bowler and tennis player. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Elizbaeth (Seitz) Trutschel Bridges along with many other family members including nephews Richard and Barry Moravec of White Plains. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 12th at 1:00pm at the Brew Funeral Home, 48 South Street, Auburn, NY with Revered Douglas Taylor-Weiss, officiating. Interment will be in Fort Hill Cemetery, Auburn. Memorial contributions may be made to the Auburn Nursing Home (Activities Dept.), 85 Thornton Avenue, Auburn, NY 13021 in memory of Robert B. Bridges.

BUCK, RITA

Rita Buck, a longtime Croton resident, passed away on April 11, 2008 at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital. She was 57. Rita was a retired Purchasing Manager at No. American Phillips Lab in Briarcliff. She was born in Newport, VT on May 24, 1950 to Therese Boutin Duquette. She graduated from Croton-Harmon High School in 1968. On Nov. 2, 1974 she was married to Larry Buck at Holy Name of Mary Church. Rita was an avid NY Yankee fan, and she also enjoyed boating on the Hudson River. She is survived by her husband Larry, her 2 daughters, Amanda and Allison, all of Croton, also her two sisters, Helen (Ralph) DeCarlo, of Kissimmee, FL, and Pauline (Peter) Martin, of Burt, Mich., as well as several nieces and nephews. There will be a Funeral Service on Monday at 10:30AM at EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 41 Grand St., Croton, where friends may call on Sunday from 2-6 PM. Burial is in Bethel Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Croton Police Association, VanWyck St., Croton, NY 10520.

CLARK, DON

Don Clark of Yonkers died on Thursday April 10, 2008 at age 92. Born on September 25, 1915 to Frank and Sarah (McGuire) in Tompkins Grove, N.Y., he attended local schools. Mr. Clark was a barkeeper for St. Andrew's Country Club in Hastings for over 40 years, then at the Amackassin Club in Yonkers for ten years retiring in 1995. On August 28, 1937, he married Charlotte Magner in St. Joseph's Church, she died in 1991. Don is survived by two daughters, Donna Ozark of Colorado and Dorothy Mahoney of Ft. Worth, TX., ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and his sister in law, Mae Clark. In addition to his wife, he was pre-deceased by his daughter, Charlotte Troy, who died in 2000, four brothers, Jim, Frank, Thomas and Gerald Clark and four sisters, Ella Ferguson, Sarah Ryan, Florence Klein and Dorothy Sworden. Visiting Hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Monday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church on Tuesday April 15th at 9:30 AM. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. Because of his love for his grandson Scott, donations may be made to the Alliance for Prader -Willie, P.O. Box 1114, Niagara Falls, N.Y. 14304. LERAY, WARREN

Warren LeRay, 85, of White Plains passed away on April 10, 2008 at Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville. Born on August 21, 1922 to the late George and Ida LeRay. He married Rita (Leonard) at St. Bernard's Chapel in White Plains on August 13, 1944. Mr. LeRay worked for A&P; Tea Company for 33 years. After his retirement, he worked for the City of White Plains as a code enforcement officer for 10 years. He was a 47-year volunteer member of Hope Engine Co. #1 White Plains. He was a member of the Westchester Emergency Communication Association for over 30 years. He was a WW II Army Air Force veteran who served in the China Burma India Theater as a Japanese Code Interceptor. He was commander in the Fairchester Basha CBI. Mr. LeRay was a lifelong resident of White Plains. Survivors include his wife Rita; a son James (Roxanne) LeRay of Eastchester; two daughters, Barbara Treadwell of Trumbull, CT and Dale Ellen LeRay of Pound Ridge; Four grandchildren, Michelle and Melissa Treadwell, Andrew and Allison LeRay. Visitation Saturday 6-9 PM and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home Inc. Mass Monday 10:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church White Plains. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla. Mr. LeRay was an advocate for the Developmentally Disabled. MANGANIELLO, FILOMENA (FANNY)

Filomena (Fanny) Manganiello of Mt. Vernon passed away on April 11, 2008. She was born in the Bronx on January 20, 1922 to Luigi and Maria Ciarcia. Filomena is predeceased by her husband Giacomo in 1994. She is survived by her children, Maria and her husband Henry Casey, Anthony and his wife Laura Manganiello, Adrienne and her husband Michael Brescia and Louis and his wife Denise Manganiello; her grandchildren, Marc, Dana and Gregory Casey, Anna (Matthew) Frank, Anthony and Stephanie Manganiello, Michael and Diana Brescia, Jaclyn and Nicole Manganiello, her great grandson Nicholas Frank. Also survived by a sister Connie DeNunzio. Filomena is predeceased by her brother Paul Ciarcia and her sisters Angelina Ciarcia and Antoinette Nioras. Filomena owned and operated Lu-Ann Fashions on 4th Ave. for many years. Family will receive friends Monday 4-8 pm and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the funeral home.
