WOLLMAN, GAIL A.

Mrs. Gail Wollman, age 69, died on July 25, 2008 at Greenwich Hospital after a long illness. The daughter of Hans Hille and Frances Sojak, Mrs. Wollman was predeceased on February 5, 2008 by her husband Gerold and is survived by four nieces; Jeannie Hayden, Leigh Hayden, Sheila Blaise and Gail Hille. A 1959 graduate of the Lenox Hill Hospital School of Nursing, Mrs. Wollman worked as a nurse at Lenox Hill Hospital for over 48 years. Mr. and Mrs. Wollman were long time members of the Harlem Yacht Club on City Island and lived in New Rochelle for 45 years. Services for Mrs. Wollman will be private. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Gail's name to the Leukaemia Foundation.

ARICO, MARY

Mary Arico of Yonkers, NY passed away on July 25, 2008 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Frank Arico. Dear sister of Catherine Sidari and the late Angela Pellegrino, Grace Crupi and Santo Sidari. Loving aunt of John Crupi, Maria Scambia, Enza Muzzolini, Meme Desi, Frank Sidari, Frank Pellegrino and Joseph Pellegrino. Friends may call at The Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers on unday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass Monday St. John The Baptist Church at 9:45 AM. Entombment St. John's Cloister.

CARBILLANO, PHILOMENA

Philomena Carbillano of Yonkers, NY died peacefully on July 21, 2008 at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Peter Carbillano. Devoted mother of Peter (Christine) Carbillano. Dear sister of Angie (Carmine) Pecoraro. Adored step grandmother of Susan and Mark. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass at St. Ann Church on Tuesday at 10:30 AM. Entombment Ferncliff Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, contributions preferred.

CATTANACH, MELISSA BEDOLIS

Melissa Bedolis Cattanach of Mount Kisco died July 21, 2008. Melissa was born in New York City and spent most of her childhood in Chappaqua, where she attended Horace Greeley High School. She spent many happy summers in Wainscott, NY and at Camp Wapomeo in Algonquin Park, Ontario. Following her graduation from Hamilton College, she enjoyed a long career in publishing and corporate communications, working for numerous fashion publications as a writer and editor including Harper's Bazaar, Mademoiselle, and Women's Wear Daily, and as editor in chief of Salon News, the leading hair industry publication. She became a creative director at Redken, a division of L'Oréal USA, and then moved to the Estée Lauder Companies, where she had been vice president of global communications for Aveda and then moved to Lauder's corporate communications department where she was vice president of global communications for the past six years. Always an avid lover of horses, Melissa also grew to love accompanying her husband, Evan, and son, Robert, on trips to Scotland, where Evan is from, and on other adventures around the globe. Melissa is survived by her beloved husband, Evan T. Cattanach; her son, Robert Evan Cattanach; her brother, John A. Bedolis; her niece, Emily R. Bedolis; and her nephew, Julian A. Bedolis. Funeral Services will be held today, Saturday, July 26, 2008, at 11:00 AM at South Presbyterian Church in Dobbs Ferry. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations in memory of Melissa be made to Mount Sinai Hospital, One Gustave L. Levy Place, Box 1049, New York, NY 10029-6574 in honor of Dr. Daniel H. Present, Dr. Jack F. Dalton, Dr. Steven Gruenstein, and Dr. Stephen Gorfine and to the Mayo Clinic, Department of Development, Scottsdale, AZ 85259 in honor of Dr. Leonard L. Gunderson, Dr. Jonathan E. Efron, and Dr. Tom R. Fitch.

HOPWOOD, LORETTA THERESA

Loretta Theresa Hopwood, 85, of Bronxville, N.Y. passed away peacefully at her home on July 23rd, 2008. Loretta was born Sept. 23rd, 1922 in the Bronx to Margaret and Henry Cullinane. She married her husband Martin M. Hopwood on Aug. 1st, 1942. She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, three cherished sons, Martin Hopwood Jr. (Ann) of Garden City, N.Y., Lawrence Hopwood (Kerry) of Bronxville, N.Y., Richard Hopwood (Ann) of Harrison, N.Y., and her nine grandchildren, Brian (Cecilia), John, Kristin, Heather, R.J., Mathew, Lauren, Tara and Greg Hopwood. She is also survived by her bother Harry Cullinane and sister in-laws Eileen Cullinane and June Lynch, as well as her many loving nieces and nephews. Loretta was at the forefront of working women in the business world. She began her career after graduating from Hunter High School and Delahanty Business School. During W.W. II she was a civilian employee of the army. Loretta and her husband Martin established their own business in 1949, Richards Conditioning Corp where she was an active principle until her retirement in 2007 at the age of 85. Family and Friends may call at Fred H. McGrath Funeral Home, Bronxville, NY on Sunday, July 27 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. Funeral Mass Monday 10:00am at St. Joseph's Church, Bronxville, NY followed by Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

HUNT, THOMAS E.

Thomas E. Hunt, 52, of Hancock, NH, formerly Ossining, NY and Shelburne, VT. Husband of Karen MacIntyre; father of Ian Hunt and Owen Hunt, all of Hancock, NH; son of Gwendolyn (Hunt) and William Hunt of Ossining, NY; brother Barbara Katz of Centennial, CO and Scott Hunt of New York City. Service Saturday, July 26 at 9:30 AM at Charlotte Congregational Church, Charlotte, VT. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Hancock, NH at 3:30 PM. KISELAK, JOSEPH M.

Joseph M. Kiselak, 86, of Sleepy Hollow departed this life on July 24, 2008 after a long and brave battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family. Joseph was the devoted husband of Mary (Manca) Kiselak for 58 years, who predeceased him in 2006. He was born on March 13, 1922 in Sleepy Hollow to Antonia Cifersky and Matus Kiselak. He graduated from North Tarrytown High School in 1940. He served in the United States Navy during World War II from 1940-1945. Joseph served in the pacific fleet on the USS President Adams and the USS Alvin C. Cockrell, where he was one of the youngest seamen to earn the position of Chief Petty Officer. During his career as an offset printer, Joseph worked for the Daily News, The Irvington Gazette and the Patent Trader. He was a lifelong parishioner of Holy Cross Church where he was married in 1947 and was an active member of the Holy Name Society. Joseph is survived by his five devoted children; Robert Kiselak and his wife Patty of Myrtle Beach, SC, Janet Forcina and her husband John of Pleasantville, NY, Michael Kiselak of Sleepy Hollow, Mary Jo Camia and her husband Dante of Ossining, NY and Matthew Kiselak and his wife Kimberly of Charlotte, NC; his cherished grandchildren, Cynthia Kiselak, Lindsay and David Krakauer, Elizabeth, Emily and Michael Kiselak, Gregory, Katie and Daniel Camia, Corie and Colin Kiselak and step-granddaughter Atlanta Beal and his loving siblings, Mary Jones, John Kiselak, Tess O'Brien and Robert Kiselak. He was predeceased by his brother Frank Kiselak and his sisters Josephine Manno and Katherine Ottaviano. Joseph will be remembered by many for his love of nature, his gardening skills and mechanical abilities. His life was one of humility, selflessness, faith, dedication to his family and love for his country. His family is grateful for the care and support he received from all the caregivers and staff at Rosary Hill and for the friends and family who visited during his illness. Donations can be made to Rosary Hill, 600 Linda Avenue, Hawthorne, NY 10532. Visitation will be at COFFEY FUNERAL HOME on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
