Anne Farrell Carmody
(March 3, 1964 - August 23, 2012)

Anne Farrell Carmody passed away August 23, 2012 at the age of 48. Anne was born March 3, 1964 in Queens, NY to Kathleen and Owen (McDonnell) Farrell. She was a graduate of St James the Apostle School, Carmel High School Class of 1982, SUNY Brockport, and New York University where she received her Masters in both Nursing and Psychiatric Nursing. She was a proud and caring Registered Nurse for New York Presbyterian Hospital and more recent at Westchester Visiting Nurse Service were she cared for many patience in the Putnam and Westchester County areas and she was also the Treasurer for Kent Parents Organization and the Vice President of Children's Discovery Center. Anne was a devoted mother, she loved nothing more then her children, she was a loving daughter and a wonderful sister and Aunt, friend and neighbor. She is survived by her adoring sons Liam, James and Owen, her beloved parents Kathleen and Owen Farrell, her loving brothers John (Lisa) and Eamon (Deirdre) and sister Mary (John) O'Hanlon. Also survived by her nieces and nephews, Katie and Caroline O'Hanlon, Patrick, Morgan and Sean Farrell. She was pre-deceased by her brother Michael in 1992. Visitation will be Monday 5-9 pm. at Cargain Funeral Home, Carmel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday 11 am at St James the Apostle Church, Interment to follow at Raymond Hill Cemetery. in Lieu of flowers Anne's family has requested donations be made to, Community Cares, 692 Route 6, Mahopac, New York 10541 or on line at www.communitycares.org. Community Cares is a local organization that helps families who's mother suffer from cancer.

O'NEILL, WILLIAM F.

William F. O'Neill (Billy Con Ed) of Mt.Vernon, died September 10, 2008. Bill is survived by three daughters, his mother Ethel Conroy and brother Robert. ROY, SEYMOUR

Seymour Roy, December 22, 1925 - September 8, 2008. Born in NYC, he served in the Army in WWII, and had a lifelong career as an accountant. He treasured his family. He will be deeply missed by his family and his many friends at the Old Guard of White Plains. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Dorothy. He is survived by his daughters Dr. Ellen Roy Elias, Sharon Roy Finch, and Marcy Roy Georgeson, his sons-in-law Dr. Anthony Elias, Allen Finch, and Paul Georgeson, and eight grandchildren; Benjamin, Daniel, and Sarah Elias, Abigail and Isabel Finch, and Joseph, Brian and Jenica Georgeson. The family respectfully requests that donations be made to the Rye Handicapped Association.

WEISSMAN, BLANCHE

Blanche Weissman passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 9, 2008. She was the beloved wife of the late Marco Weissman, who passed in September 1988. Blanche was born in Bucharest, Romania. She married Marco in 1945, and together, immigrated to Israel in 1950. There, they raised two sons, Samuel and Natan. She was a dress designer with her own shop while her husband was an electrician. In 1973, Blanche and Marco came to the United States and settled in Queens to be close by their sons and families, who had previously moved from Israel. Blanche is survived by her two sons; Natan and his wife Diana who reside in Nanuet, N.Y., Samuel and his wife Carol of Piermont, N.Y., five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A Service will be held on Sunday, September 14th at 1:00 PM at the Hellman Memorial Chapel, 15 State St., Spring Valley, N.Y. (845) 356-8600. Interment will be in Israel. Those who wish, may make memorial contributions to United Hospice of Rockland, 11 Stokum Lane, New City, N.Y. 10956.

BATTOCHI, EVELYN E. (EARL)

Evelyn E.(Earl) Battochi of Spring Valley, NY passed away September 6, 2008 at the age of 79. Born in Monsey, NY, Evelyn was a Monsey resident for over 50 years, and was retired as a secretary for the Ramapo Valley School district and operated Battochi Farms in Spring Valley with her husband Louis who pre-deceased her in 2004, she was also pre-deceased by her twin sister Frances. She is survived by her brother Vernon and his wife Brenda Earl of Monsey, NY, her niece Deborah Hansen of Florida, NY and nephew Vernon Earl Jr. of Monsey, NY and several nieces and nephews of the Battohci family and her great nephew Timothy.. She was a member of the Hillcrest Fire Departments Ladies Auxiliary. Evelyn's Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at St. John in the Wilderness born on February 18, 1940 in Haverstraw, New York to the late Isaiah Belle, Sr. and Carrie Parker Belle. She fell asleep in the arms of Jesus on September 6, 2008. Louise, as she was known, attended Haverstraw Schools and graduated from Haverstraw High School in 1958. Upon graduation, she was employed as a Therapy Aide at Letchworth Village Developmental Center in Thiells, New York, and was a dedicated employee for 37 years until her retirement in 1995. Along with her parents, Calvary Baptist Church in Haverstraw was the foundation of Louise's Christian development. She was baptized there in 1955 and was a life-long member. In addition to her church activities, Louise had been in the Eastern Star, and was a member of CSEA, and the Nyack Branch of the NAACP. In addition to her parents, Louise was predeceased by three brothers; Jack, Benjamin, and Booker T., and three sisters; Pearl Elizabeth, Deborah Estelle, and Julie. She leaves to cherish her memory three brothers, Garfield Carter of Nyack, NY; Isaiah Belle, Jr. and Wilbert Bell, both of Garnerville, NY; a sister-in-law, Katie Bell; a brother-in-law, John Spruill, Sr.; nephews Larry Carter, Gary Carter, John Spruill, Jr., Kenneth Carter, and Rodney Grey; nieces Joyce Harris, Diane Carter, Deborah Barnes, Lillian Carter, Carolyn Jones, Nancy Webb, and Antoinette Bostrom; godchildren Shelly Eaddy and Brandon Barnes; and many cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews, loved ones, friends, and close friend, Luis Rosa. BING, JEANNE WAGNER

Jeanne Wagner Bing, 85, passed on September 5, 2008. Devoted wife of the late Franz Josef Bing, cherished mother of Lauren Bing Daniel of Rye, NY, beloved sister of Charles K. Wagner of Sarasota, FL, treasured grandmother of Blake and Chase of Rye, NY, and adored mother-in-law of Peyton Daniel of Rye, NY. Remembered for her loving and uplifting spirit, her loyal friendships, her generosity, and her love and devotion for family. Memorial visitation from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at Graham Funeral Home, 1036 Boston Post Road, Rye, NY 10580. Elizabeth "Bess" Naclerio-Giffen
(December 24, 1916 - August 13, 2012)

Bess died on Monday, August 13, 2012 at Calvary Hospital. She was born on December 24, 1916 in the Bronx to George and Kathryn (Brown) Binns. She was a graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School. On June 26, 1938 she married John Naclerio and they spendt51 years together until his death in 1989. She was also predeceased by her son John (“Sandy”), her second husband Vin Giffen and her dear friend George Donnelly. She resided for the past eight years at The Plaza at Clover Lake where she made some wonderful friends and was one of the Charter members of The Happy Hookers and Nifty Knitters. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Dolores Naclerio and daughters Nancy DelSavio and her husband Arthur and Lynn Hertel and her husband Peter. Bess is also survived by nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, many wonderful nieces and nephews and her loving Godchild; Donna Coletti Murljacic. Visitation will begin on Friday, August 17, 2012 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Cargain Funeral Homes, Inc., 10 Fowler Avenue, Carmel, NY 10512 (845)225-3672. A Funeral Mass will be at St. James the Apostle Church 14 Gleneida Avenue, Carmel, NY 10512 on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to her name to: Calvary Hospital’s Calvary Fund, 1740 Eastchester Road, Bronx, NY 10461.
