KATT, RONALD ELBERTON

Ronald Elberton Katt, age 79, died September 6, 2008 at home in Stony Point, NY. Mr. Katt was born on October 7, 1928 to the late Helen and Elberton Katt of New City. Ronald was a graduate of Spring Valley High School and Cornell University. He was the owner of Katt Dairies and later became a teacher of Industrial Arts at North Rockland High School. Ron was well known for his superb craftsmanship in carpentry and restoration of homes and furniture. He was a generous man with a heart for those less fortunate. He is survived by his son Richard and daughter-in-law Sandy Katt, his daughter Robin Alba, and grandchildren Tara Katt, Keri Katt, Daniel Katt, and Ronald Alba, and brothers John S. Katt and his wife Elaine of Bardonia, and James Katt and his wife Lois of Corning, NY, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Ronald Mark. Visitation will be held at Higgins Funeral Home in New City on Wednesday, September 10, 2008, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, 11 AM at Germonds Cemetery. MICHAEL J. Albert Franco of Thornwood and formerly of Bronx, N.Y. joined his beloved wife Ann in eternal life on September 2, 2008. He is survived by his loving children Judith D'Allessandro and Albert Franco, Jr.; his sister Mary Ungolo, and his grandchildren Christine Corsaro and Anthony Parisi and great-grandchildren Mario and Christopher Corsaro. FULLENWEIDER, JOAN ALICE MOSES

Joan Alice Moses Fullenweider departed this life on September 3, 2008. She was born December 9, 1933 to the late Edward and Florence Brown Moses of Elmsford, New York. She taught elementary school in the Elmsford public school district for over 30 years. She is survived by her children David and Lori Fullenweider and her granddaughter Mecca Shabazz of Elmsford, New York The family will receive friends on Tuesday September 9, 2008 from 7-9pm at St. Frances and St. Martha's Episcopal church located at 575 Tarrytown Road in White Plains, New York. Funeral service Wednesday at 11:00am at the church.

GRIECO, ANTOINETTE (BELMONT)

Antoinette Grieco (Belmont) died Saturday September 6, 2008 in The Villages Florida. She was born February 17, 1914 in White Plains, NY to John and Christina (Daubler) Belmont. She is survived by her children, Maryann DiFede (John) of Armonk, NY, Janet Ortiz of The Villages, FL, and James (Diane) Grieco of Leesburg, FL, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters Jean, Angelina and Grace, and her brother John. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday at 10 AM at Mt. Carmel Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cornerstone Hospice The Village Hospice House, 601 Casa Bella The Villages, FL 32162. HERBERT, TERESA

Teresa Herbert, 95, a long time former resident of Mt. Kisco, NY died on September 6th in Plainfield, NH, with her loving family by her side. She was born on March 1, 1913 in New York City. She was married for 60 years to Jack Herbert. Terry lived with her husband and six children in Mt. Kisco from 1952 to 1978. She lived her life in the service of others volunteering for the American Cancer Society, The Red Cross, FISH, Boy Scouts, St. Francis Parish and School, and the Mt. Kisco Hospital. Upon her husband Jack's retirement from the Reader's Digest, they moved to Leisure Village in Lakewood, New Jersey where they often hosted their children and grandchildren. Terry continued her community service and volunteered at Kimball Hospital. She is survived by her five children, Kevin Herbert of Oakton, Virginia, Sara Lluch of Barcelona, Spain, Christine White of Lansdale, PA, Frank Herbert of Armonk, NY and Tim Herbert of Plainfield, NH, their spouses, her ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Peter, her brother, Tony, and her husband, Jack. Calling hours are from 3-5PM and 7-9 PM Tuesday, September 9th at Cassidy Flynn Funeral Home on Main Street in Mt. Kisco, NY. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Mt Kisco on Wednesday, September 10th at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions can be made to the Make a Wish Foundation.

MISLEY, HELEN

Helen Misley (nee Berezny) of Dobbs Ferry, formerly a life-long Yonkers resident died on Thursday September 4, 2008 at age 94. She was born on March 12, 1914 to Stephen and Julia (Slutak) Berezny in Yonkers where she was raised and attended local schools. Mrs. Misley worked as an executive secretary and registrar at the Halsted School in Yonkers for many years retiring in 1981. In August 1933 she married John Misley in St. Mary's Church in Yonkers, he died in 1971. Helen was a parishioner of Christ the King Church and a member of St. John's and St Joseph's Auxiliary. She is survived by three daughters Joan E. Morse of Stamford, Helen Bedford of Stamford and Mary Ann Foley of Port Jefferson Station. She is also survived by four grandchildren Helen Marie Redfield, Debra Longo, Bill Foley Jr. and Kevin Foley and two great grandchildren Christopher and Daniel Foley and a sister Julia Daniels of Yonkers. She was predeceased by a great grandson Christopher Longo who died in 1999. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Monday September 8th from 2 to 6 PM ONLY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be in Christ the King Church on Tuesday September 9th at 10AM. Interment will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Adelaide Mourikis, 70, a former resident of Hartsdale died September 4, 2008. She was predeceased by her husband Nicholas in 1993. She is survived by her children, Christopher Mourikis, Michele Benjamin and Linda Mourikis, three grandchildren Amelia and Ryan Benjamin and Andrew Amico and her brother Joseph Viotti. Mass of the Resurrection 10 AM Wednesday, Sacred Heart Church, Hartsdale. Visiting 6-9 PM Tuesday, Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home 64 Ashford Ave. Dobbs Ferry, NY.
