Wagner, Charles William, age 97, a longtime resident of Bedford, died on Friday, February 6, 2009 at Somers Manor Nursing Home, Somers.
Mr. Wagner was born February 5, 1912. the son of the late Charles and Margaret (Hoehn) Wagner.
He served in the Army from 1943 to 1945 during World War II.
Charles was employed by Bordens and Emmadene dairies as a milkman for over 40 years and later as an office manager for Enquest Chemical, Brooklyn, N.Y.
He was happily married to Anne Lipinsky Wagner on July 1, 1950.
Charles was a member of Kisco 708 Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons, Pyramid Shrine, Bethlehem Crusader Commandry, the V.F.W. in Mt. Vernon, NY, as well as a Volunteer Firefighter in Mt. Vernon.
He was an active member of the Croton Falls Community Church.
Charles was the beloved husband of the late Anne Wagner and was the loving father of Amy Markland (Keith) of Poughkeepsie, NY, Mark Wagner (Liz) of Brewster, NY and Pastor Timothy Wagner (Vincent Hutchings) of Croton Falls, NY.
He was the devoted grandfather of Kathleen and Madeline Wagner.
He is survived by his nieces, Linda Swawola and her son Richard and nephews, Arthur Groff godson (Barbara) and Edward Groff (Frankie), Phil, Raymond and Robert (Clara) Lipinsky and Gwen Pirovitz and Reed Lipinsky
Friends may call at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY. on Sunday from 7:00-9:00 PM and on Monday from 2:00-4:00 PM. The funeral service will be Monday 7:00 PM.at the Croton Falls Community Church. Private interment will be in Beechwood Cemetery, New Rochelle. His family knows and has the assurance that he is united with his beloved wife Anne.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Anne and Charles Wagner Memorial Fund at Croton Falls Community Church.
WARD, MARION E., age 79, of Shenorock, died Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Northern Westchester Hospital Center, Mt. Kisco, NY.
Thomson, Esther, age 87, of Mt. Kisco, previously of Somers, NY, died Monday, May 4, 2009 at her home after a long illness. Mrs. Thomson was born in Catrine, Scotland, the youngest of eight children and emigrated to the US as a small child.
She was retired from The Research Institute of America in Mt. Kisco, NY. Esther was the beloved wife of the late John D. Thomson who died Oct. 2002. She is survived by her loving children: Barbara Kapuscinski of Goshen, NY, Diane Thomson of Mount Kisco, NY, John D. Thomson, Jr. and his wife, Maureen of Ft. Myers, FL, and Shirley Harrison and her husband, Jack of Sandy Creek, NY.
She is also survived by four grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00pm at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY. The funeral will be Thursday at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Putnam Valley, NY. The family wishes to express their deep appreciation for the excellent care their mother received from Hospice Care of Westchester and Putnam.
Willey, Robert Allen, 88, a 37 year resident of Mount Kisco, NY, died on May 12, 2009 at his home. Mr. Willey was born July 3, 1920 in Pasadena, CA the son of William S. and Minna E. Willey. He was a graduate of Pasadena High School, and attended U.S.C. for three years.
Robert served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. He was a Director, Producer and Actor in both Movies and Theatre. Robert was a member of the American Federation of Radio and Television Artists and the Screen Actors Guild. He is survived by his beloved wife, Helen (Wagner) Willey and his sister, Mona Elmore of Honolulu, HI. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Willman, Paul H., 70, a resident of North Salem, NY, for 42 years died Monday, November 2, 2009 at his home surrounded by his family.
Mr. Willman was born September 15, 1939 in White Plains, NY. He is the son of the late Paul Charles Willman and the late Jean (Carpenter) Bowman. Paul graduated from Pace University in 1962. He served in the Air National Guard. Paul was the proprietor of Paul Willman Service in Bedford Hills, NY. He was the President and Founder of the Northeast Appliance Technician Organization (NEATO). Paul was well known for his expertise in the appliance repair field. He was an avid deep sea fisherman and hunter. His love of fishing inspired him to proudly acquire his Captain's License. Paul is the loving husband of Libby, and the devoted father of Paul Jr., Carolyn Gabriel and Michael and the father-in-law of Karen, Frankpeter and Mary. Loving grandfather to Paul Charles, Madison, Jack, Julia, Quinn, Caroline and Glen.
He was the older brother of the late Peter Willman. Calling hours will be Friday, November 6 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Clark Associates Funeral Home, 4 Woods Bridge Road, Katonah, NY. Young, Dorothy M. of Somers, NY, formerly of Milton, MA, died December 10, 2009. Mrs. Young was married for 51 years to Dr. Eliot Young who was a cardiologist on the faculty of Harvard Medical School. Mrs. Young is survived by her 3 children: Susan Geringer, Dr. Lawrence Young, Beth Goettisheim and 7 grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Florence Backer and was pre-deceased by her brother, William Feinberg. Trogele, Maria T., age 74, of Somers, died Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at her home. She was the Proprietor of Heritage Limousine Service in Somers for many years, prior to that she was the C.P.A. for the Mt. Kisco Country Club. She is survived by one son: Robert Trogele and his wife Uta of Devon, PA, and her granddaughter, Julia. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:15 am on Friday, September 11 at St. Joseph's RC Church, 10 Croton Falls Road, Croton Falls, NY. Burial will follow at New St. Raymond’s Cemetery, Bronx.
Tucci, Kathryn Louise Spath-Tucci, “Kate”, age 47, of South Salem, NY, died Monday, April 27, 2009.
Kate was born April 26, 1962 at San Francisco, CA, the daughter of Robert D. and Dorothy (Stein) Spath.
She is survived by her husband: Stanley V. Tucci, four daughters: Christine Scott, Nicolo Tucci, Isabel Tucci, Camilla Tucci and one son: Campbell Scott.
