PARISI, KATHLEEN

Parisi, Kathleen of Pearl River, NY, died suddenly August 31, 2008 at the age of forty-nine. She was born September 10, 1958, NYC to Frank and Kathleen McInerney. Kathleen was a graduate of Albertus Magnus High School and the University of Plattsburgh (SUNY) Nursing Program. She worked in several area hospitals most recently at Pascack Valley Hospital, Westwood, NJ. Kathleen will be dearly missed by her husband James and daughters Nicole Bautista and husband Jorge, Brittany and Jamie. In addition, she is survived by her parents, loving sisters Tara Huston and her husband Bill, Clarisse Nicol and her husband Jim, Loraine Orban and her husband John, her brother Kieran and his wife Darlene, mother-in-law Ginette Parisi and several nieces and nephews. Kathleen was a loving person who will be sorely missed by her many friends and family. REILLY, JOHN "JACK" FRANCIS

John "Jack" Francis Reilly, a longtime Larchmont resident, formerly of Fleetwood, NY, died peacefully on August 19, 2008 at the age of 78. Jack graduated from Cardinal Farley Military Academy in 1948 and Iona College in 1953 and served in the U.S. Army in the 11th Airborne Division from 1953 to 1955 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Jack also received a Master's of Business Administration from New York University in the late 1950s. Jack owned Miller, Schwartzman & Reilly, Inc., an insurance agency in Pelham, NY with his two partners from which he retired in the mid-1990s. Jack is survived by his four children; Mary Reilly of New York, NY, Colleen Reilly of Larchmont, NY, Kathleen (Daniel) Geraghty of Shavertown, PA, and Michael (Nancy) Reilly of Pelham Manor, NY as well as five grandchildren, Daniel, Matthew and Brian Geraghty, Kristin and Jonathan Reilly. A Memorial Service will be held at St. John & Paul Church, 280 Weaver Street in Larchmont at 10 AM on Saturday, September 6, 2008. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. MOSKOWITZ, MURRAY A.

Murray A. Moskowitz of Mahwah, (formerly of Teaneck, NJ and Monsey, NJ) on September 3, 2008. Mr. Moskowitz was a veteran of the US Army during WW II. He represented Teva Pharmaceuticals, an Israeli generic drug manufacturer, and brought the company into the United States market before retiring. He was also on the Board of Directors of Ramapo Ridge Condominiums. Beloved husband of Gloria (nee Fox). Devoted father of Beth Moskowitz and her husband Charles, and Meryl and Sal Zurzolo. Devoted stepfather of David and Ellen Teitelbaum, Cherri and Gerard Rodriguez and Lesley and Gene Marsilio. Loving grandfather of Charles-Michael Raisch, Daniel and Karen Teitelbaum, Allison Teitelbaum and Evan Teitelbaum, Jonathan Rodriguez and Karly Rodriguez, Tyler, Brandon and Dylan Zurzolo, and Eric and Kyle Marsilio. Funeral Friday, 11:30 AM at Gutterman and Musicant, Hackensack, NJ. The Memorial period will be observed at the Moskowitz home. Should friends desire contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

NODELMAN, ADAM

Adam Nodelman, a long time resident of Rockland County, New York City, and of Woodstock N.Y., died suddenly at home in Woodstock on Monday, August 25, 2008. Adam was born in New York City on April 12, 1966, grew up in South Nyack, NY, later moved back to New York City and to locations ranging from Rotterdam, Holland, San Francisco and New Paltz, before settling finally in Woodstock where he lived with his wife, Stacey and his daughters Pascal, Kaya and Jasper. Adam attended Rockland Country Day School, Nyack High School and Bard College. He was a talented, multi-dimensional musician, known for his virtuosity on bass and synthesizer and for his powerful stage presence, playing with groups ranging from Borbetomagus, Missing Foundation, Crash Worship and the War Hippies to, most recently, Sunburned Hand of the Man. He was gifted with a lively, unconventional intelligence and a self-effacing, but magnetic, grace. Adam will be deeply missed by his multitude of friends around the world but especially by his family, his wife, Stacey, his daughters, Pascal, Kaya and Jasper, his parents, Leonard and Ellen Nodelman, formerly of South Nyack but now living in Deep River, Connecticut, his sister and brother-in-law Rachel Nodelman Alemany and Jason Alemany of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, and his nephews, Caleb and Jonah. A Memorial Service for Adam will be held this Saturday, September 6th at the Ulster Landing Park in Saugerties, New York at 1PM. A fund is being set up for Adam's daughters; anyone wishing to contribute can contact Ellen Nodelman at Rockland Country Day School, 34 Kings Highway, Congers, NY 10920.

O'BRIEN, MICHAEL T.

Michael T. O'Brien, 77, of Hyde Park, NY, formerly of Haverstraw, died September 2, 2008. Survived by wife, Stella M. Brestolli O'Brien; sons, Noel (Sandra), Sean (Katie); three grandchildren; sisters, Eileen, Bridget, and Joan; and twin brother, Noel. Visitation, September 7, 2008 from2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM, Sweet's Funeral Home, Hyde Park, Mass, 10 AM, September 8, 2008 Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel, Poughkeepsie. Burial, Mount Repose Cemetery, Haverstraw. Memorial donations, American Cancer Society.

Miriam E. O'Donnell, of Scarsdale on September 2, 2008. Loving wife of the late William J. O'Donnell, devoted mother of Miriam (Anthony) Quinlan, William J. (Patricia), Robert G. (Heather), Susan M., Gregory J., Alice M. (Daniel) Kiely and Richard D. (Lee Ann) and the late Maura Alice, Adoring Grandmother of 18, Great grandmother of one. Calling Hours at the Fred H. SMITHIE, W. PETER

W. Peter Smithie, a former resident of Mahopac, NY, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 in Virginia Beach, VA. He was 48. The son of Wilborn Peter Smithie and Evelyn Denner Smithie, he was born on May 3, 1960. Peter was a 1978 graduate of Mahopac High School and relocated to Virginia Beach where he was employed as a plumber. He was an avid musician and loved playing his guitar. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Nora, beloved daughter Amanda and granddaughter Ayla, all of Virginia Beach, VA, his parents, Pete and Evelyn Smithie of Fort Pierce, FL, sister, Linda Whalen and husband Bill, of Newburgh, NY, brother Steven Smithie and wife Suzanne of NY City. Peter struggled with health issues in the later years of his life. He has finally found peace. "Those we love never die, as long as we live and remember, they are with us always." Services were privately held by the family in Virginia Beach, VA.
