Corso, Maria A., of Chappaqua, passed away on April 25 after a long and courageous battle. She was 70. For over 30 years Maria was a parishioner of St. John and St Mary’s R.C. Church in Chappaqua. She will always be remembered for her true devotion to the Catholic Church, her loving family and all of her dear friends.
Maria is survived by her beloved husband John. She was a loving and devoted mother to Tony, Chuck and Joan. She was also an adoring grandmother of C.J., Maria, Emily, John and her niece Cristina Rizzuto. Her sister Linda Rizzuto and her brother Frank Rizzuto survive her.
The family will receive friends at the Beecher Funeral Home, Inc. in Pleasantville today from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30 AM at St. John and St. Mary R.C. Church (Upper Church) in Chappaqua. Burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
In lieu of flowers kindly make donations in Maria’s memory to the St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital or the San Miguel Academy in Newburgh, NY.

Craig, John A., of Hawthorne, New York, died on August 9th, 2006. He passed away peacefully at his home, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family and friends. "Jack" was 77 years old.
Jack is survived by his 7 children ( and their spouses): Kathleen Craig, Theresa (Donald) Lown, Robert (Mary) Craig, Christine (Lon) Merritt, Mary )MIchael Lattari, Elizabeth (Michael) Keller and Patricia Craig: as well as his 11 grandchildren Roswell, Nicole, Robert Jr., Megan, Michael, Kelsey, Allison, Caroline, Alexandra, Matthew, and his best friend "Pork Chop". Jack was predeceased by his beloved first wife, Jean Maloney of Scarsdale, NY, in 1968 and his devoted second wife, Winifred Lynch of Queens, NY in 1989.
Jack was born in New York City to J. Henry Roraback and Mary Collins of Connecticut on August 30, 1928. He was raised in Lakeville, CT, and attended Cranwell Preparatory High School in Massachusetts. After graduating from Cranwell, he enlisted with the military and served in post WWII Japan until an honorable discharge in 1948. Jack attended Georgetown University College of Arts and Science and received his BS degree; he went on to graduate from Georgetown University Law School with a Masters in Law and Taxation in 1957. He was a law clerk for several justices of the Tax Court of the United States in Washington, DC and went on to practice corporate tax litigation for several prominent law firms in NYC including: Clark, Carr Ellis; Tyre, Craig & McCoy; Shea & Gould; and Finley, Kumble, Wagner, Heine, Underberg, Myerson & Casey. During his law career, he was duly admitted and qualified as an attorney and counselor of the Supreme Court of the United Satates. Since the early 1990's, Jack had been employed by the Sony Corporation of America Senior Tax Counsel. Jack was a member of the New York State Bar Association for the past 50 years.
Jack was extremely active with Alcoholics Anonymous as a sponsor and mentor to countless individuals in recovery. He was a much-loved and respected member of the AA community in Westchester County. Jack's contributions to AA influenced and touched many. His proudest achievement was his 20 years of sobriety, which he attributed to the support and love of the fellowship and the individuals of the neighborhood AA groups.
The family will receive visitors at Beecher Funeral Home, Bedford Road, Pleasantville, New York, on Thursday, August 10th from 7-9pm and Friday August 11th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
A funeral mass, in celebration of Jack's life, will be held at Holy Rosary Church in Hawthorne, New York, on Saturday August 12th at 10am. Interment will be private.

Colombo, Adeline E., on August 22, 2006. She was born on May 3, 1927 to Antonio & Josephine Ciamei. Adeline married her husband Michael D. at the Church of the Holy Rosary in Yonkers on October 18, 1953 they were married for fifty years until his passing on January 6, 2004. She was a loving mother to Michael, Jr. & his wife Patti & Anthony. She was the adored grandmother of Nicholas & Scott. Adeline is survived her sisters Teresa Ricciardi, Ann Viviano & Rose Rossi. Her sister Louise DePonto, Josephine Viviano & her brother Anthony Ciamei predeceased her. Family will receive friends at the Beecher Funeral Home, Inc. in Pleasantville on Friday from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:45 AM at Holy Rosary Church R.C. Church in Hawthorne with entombment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park in Putnam Valley. In lieu of flowers kindly make donations in Adeline’s name to Rosary Hill Home, 600 Linda Ave., Hawthorne, NY. 10532.

Cuccia, Gwendolyn G., a lifelong resident of Hawthorne, and a parishioner of Holy Rosary R.C. Church, passed away on March 19th at the age of 86. She was predeceased by her husband Lucas F. Cuccia in 1968. Gwendolyn was the Assistant Director of Nursing at the Ruth Taylor Institute in Hawthorne.
She is survived by her son David and his wife Colleen of Hawthorne, her granddaughter Christine Nicole and a grandson David, Jr. She also leaves behind her companion of 3 years Mavis Rouse.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Rosary R.C. Church today at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers kindly make donations in her name to the Hawthorne Fire Department or the Hawthorne Ambulance Corp.

DeGeorge, Jean, of Pleasantville, passed away on July 20. Jean was the loving mother of Joseph and Andrea Garbarini. She was the adoring grandmother of Dylan, Philip and Joseph. She will be deeply missed but her spirit, faith and wisdom will be with us always. The family will receive friends at Beecher Funeral Home, Inc., in Pleasantville today from 2 –4 & 7 – 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Innocents R.C. Church on Saturday at 9:30 AM. Entombment to follow at Woodlawn Mausoleum in the Bronx. In lieu of flowers kindly make donations in her name to the Christian Foundation for Children & Aging, 1 Elmwood Avenue, Kansas City, Kansas, 66103.

Cutrone, Felix, P., 72, of Hawthorne, NY, died July 4, 2007.
Husband of Rose Marie (Scali) Cutrone. Father of Philip (Lori) Cutrone of Yorktown Hgts, and Anthony (Donna) Cutrone of Yorktown Hgts. Grandfather of Alex, Sam, Taylor, Anthony, Jr., and Lillianna.

Daniele, Mary Frances, a longtime resident of Pleasantville, died Feb. 17, 2008. She was 90 years old.
Mary was born February 22, 1917 in No. White Plains, to Ross and Caroline Janquinto Molino.
In 1933 she married Salvatore Daniele and became a resident of Pleasantville.
Mary was very generous in opening her home to those who needed a place to stay & never expected anything in return. She was also known for her gourmet cooking and would make spaghetti for her son’s football team.
Locally, she was a parishioner of Holy Innocents Church and co-owner of Daniele Auto body.
Mary is survived by her four children Leonard of Pleasantville, John of Pleasantville, Marie of Poughkeepsie, Sal of Pleasantville, her 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
Visitation will be Tues. (today) 2-4 & 7-9pm at Beecher Funeral Home, Pleasantville. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wed. 10 am at Holy Innocents Church, Pleasantville. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne.
