Margaret Picciano of Croton, formerly of Ossining, died March 5, 2010, she was 92. She was born July 22, 1917 in NYC to Albert & Margaret Grosjean Zanoni. Margaret worked at Maryknoll in the print shop for many years. She was pre-deceased by her husband Michael. She is survived by her sons John of Croton, Michael of Henderson, NV, Richard of Yonkers, 5 grandchildren & 8 great-grandchildren. She will be reposing Mon. 4-7PM at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St. Ossining. Funeral Service Tues. 10AM at the chapel at Rose Hill Mausoleum.

BRUNDAGE, PATRICIA A.

Patricia A. Brundage, formerly of Ossining, died Feb. 23, 2010 in Las Vegas, NV. She was born Sep. 28, 1923 in the Bronx, NY to Edward & Mona Masterson Lehn. Patricia worked as a LPN at Marymount Convent Nursing Home. She was pre-deceased by her husband Charles who died 2/17/89. Patricia is survived by her son Charles of New Fairfield, CT, daughter Maureen of Las Vegas, daughter Gail Rohmer of South Orleans, MA, sister Phyliss Gallagher of Wisconsin, brother Edward Lehn of Texas, 4 grandchildren; Edward and Matthew Rohmer of South Orleans, MA and Sarah and Allison Brundage of New Fairfield, CT and 2 great-grandsons Jacob and Max Rohmer. She will be reposing Tues. 2-4 & 7-9PM at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St. Ossining. Mass of Christian Burial Wed. 10 AM at St. Augustine’s Church, burial St. Augustine’s Cemetery.

SHUBRICK, CATHLEEN L.

Cathleen L. Shubrick of Ossining was called home on February 24, 2010, she was 69. She was born on sept. 13, 1940 in Georgetown, S. Carolina to William Lawrence and Rebecca Holmes. Cathleen worked for many year at Phelps memorial Hospital in the Central Sterile Supply Department. She was a member of the Holy Spirit Church. She is survived by her sons Hercules Shubrick Jr., Frederick Shubrick, daughters Pamela Lawrence, Yolly Shubrick, sister Lucille Arrington, grandchildren Carla Richardson, Payton Shubrick, Taylor Shubrick, Jordyn Shubrick and Frederick Shubrick II. The family will receive friends Tuesday 6-8PM at the Holy Spirit Church 164 Spring Street Ossining. Funeral Services will be Wednesday at the Church at 12PM, cremation to follow at Ferncliff Crematory.

ABDULLA, BENJAMIN RAPHAEL

Benjamin Raphael Abdulla of Ossining died February 23, 2010 at St. Luke's Hospital in Newburgh, he was 85. He was born June 28, 1924 in St. Mary Jamaica. He worked as a carpenter in construction for many years. He was a member of the Holy Spirit Church in Ossining.He is survived by his daughters Millicent Jones and Dorothy Jones, both of Ossining and grandsons Lloyd and Andre Jones. He will be reposing Friday March 5, 2010 6-8PM at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St. Ossining where Services will be held at Holy Spirit Church located at 164 Spring Street Saturday at 10AM, Rev. Phifer officiating, burial Dale Cemetery.

MURRAY, GEORGE F.M.

George Fraser Mercer Murray of Ossining died suddenly Feb. 24, 2010, he was 81. He was born May 19, 1928 in N.J. to William & Lily Mae Mercer Murray. George worked at Cambridge Inst. Co. for many years and more recently for Piccone & Assoc. Architects. George was a lover of words & music. He is survived by his sons Gordon (Gina Sanchirico) of Lake Peekskill, Russell of Ossining, daughter Kim Santos (Frank) of Ossining, grandchildren Cassandra, Elizabeth, Max, Margot, Justin, Franklin, great-grandchildren Cynthia, Sophia, Victoria, Sebastian & Liam. He will be reposing Sun. 2-4 & 7-9PM at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St. Ossining where services will be held Mon. 11AM, burial Dale Cemetery.

SHALLO, SUSAN (TUSSEL)

Susan (Tussel) Shallo of Hopewell Jct. died April 1, 2008 after a battle with cancer, she was 54. She was born in Ossining Jan. 3, 1954 to Raymond and Susan (DiCioccio) Tussel. Susan graduated from Newberry Jr. College and Berkley University. She worked for the Dover School District for many years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Susan is survived by her husband John, sons Anthony, Michael, John Jr., daughter Diane Gore, grandchildren Amanda & Zachary, brother Stephen Tussel, sisters Laurie Wertz and Janet Sallucci. She will be reposing Thursday 7-9PM and Friday 2-4 & 7-9PM at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St. Ossining. Mass of the Resurrection Saturday 10AM St. Ann’s Church, entombment Rose Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society appreciated.

DIAS, ARMANDA "MANDY"

Mandy Dias of Ossining died March 31, 2008 after a long battle with cancer, she was 78. She was born in Ossining February 11, 1930 to Frank and Ana Abrantes Silva. She worked for many years for the Mearle Corp. Mandy is survived by her husband Bill, daughters Lynn Sellazzo and Cynthia Villa, grandchildren Victoria Leigh Villa, Carissa Lynn Sellazzo, Gregory Daniel Sellazzo. She will be reposing Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9PM at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St. Ossining. Mass of the Resurrection Thursday 10AM at St. Augustine’s Church, burial St. Augustine’s Cemetery.

VERE, CHARLENE

Charlene Vere of Poughkeepsie died suddenly on March 23, 2008, she was 27. She was born in Sleepy Hollow on April 3, 1980 to Jose and Myrna Ruiz Vere. Charlene worked most recently at the A&P in Pleasant Valley. She is survived by her mother Myrna, father Jose, sisters Carolyn and Jacqueline and children Anthony and Michelle. She will be reposing Friday 6-9PM at Leach & Thomas, Inc. Funeral Home 32 State Street Ossining where services will be held Saturday 10AM, burial Dale Cemetery in Ossining.

Rosemarie Rocha-Obrine of Montrose died suddenly on March 23, 2008. She was born August 6, 1938 in Ossining to Manuel & Elvira DeSilva Rocha. Rosemarie worked for many years at the Westchester Medical Center. She was pre-deceased by her son Alfonso. She is survived by her sons Mark (Julie) Feliciano, William Feliciano, daughters Cynthia (Robert) Floyd, Maria (Kurt) Feliciano Shufelt, brothers August, John, Tony, sisters Mary, Alice, Linda, Dorothy, 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She will be reposing Thursday 2-4 & 7-9PM AT Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St. Ossining. Graveside prayers will be offered Friday, 11AM, at Dale Cemetery.

GIORDANO, GERALDINE T.

Geraldine T. Giordano of Ossining died March 23, 2008. She was born January 20, 1934 in Ossining to Alfred and Anna Sealey Sniffen. Geri worked for NY Telephone in Ossining for many years. She also worked for Tappan Zee answering service and the Ossining Public Schools. Geri is survived by her husband Anthony, son Anthony Jr. of Montrose, daughter Theresa of Sterling, grandchildren Ashleigh and Brett Ecke. She was pre-deceased by seven brothers. She will be reposing Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9PM at Leach & Thomas, Inc. Funeral Home 32 State St. Ossining. Mass of the Resurrection Thursday 10AM at St. Ann’s Church, burial Rose Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations to American Diabetes Association appreciated.
