IAMICELI, ANDREA

Andrea Iamiceli of Ossining died March 19, 2008, he was 86. He was born in Sassinoro, Italy June 20, 1921 to Raffaele and Maria Persicheli Iamiceli. Andrea was a very hard working man all of his life. He worked as a mason for the White Plains School District. He was a communicant of St. Ann’s Church. He is survived by his wife Paolina, sons Raffaele & Natalino, daughter Maria DiRenno, brother Davide and grandchildren Natalino, Frank, Angela, Briana, Anthony & Michael. He was pre-deceased by his brother Eduardo, sisters Ermelinda & Francesca. He will be reposing Easter Sunday 2-4 & 7-9PM at Leach & Thomas, Inc. Funeral Home 32 State Street Ossining, NY 10562. Mass of the Resurrection Monday 10AM at St. Ann’s Church 25 Eastern Avenue Ossining, burial St. Augustine’s Cemetery.

RODRIGUEZ, LUIS

Luis Rodriguez of Ossining died March 16, 2008, he was 94. He was born December 8, 1913 in Puerto Rico. Luis worked most recently for Aunt Millie’s Co. in Hawthorne. He was pre-deceased by his wife Catalina. He is survived by his sons Luis II, Carlos, Angel Luis, Angel Manuel, Victor, daughters Santa Moran, Felicita Ortiz, Dominga, Carmen Hernandez, Epifania Flores, Anna Maldonado, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great-grand and great-great grandchildren. He will be reposing Tuesday 7-9pm & Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9pm at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St. Ossining where services will be held Thursday 10AM, burial Dale Cemetery.

RICO, JOHN

John Rico of Ossining died March 10, 2008, he was 96. He was born April 23, 1911 in Popoli, Italy to Antonio and Erminia Rico. John married Maria Puccilli on April 6, 1935; she died March 1, 2000. He was a veteran of the Italian Army. John worked as a mason for many years and was a member of the bricklayers union. He was a communicant of St. Ann’s Church. John was an honorary member of the Columbus Lodge. John is survived by his son Anthony of Ossining, daughter Irma DiCioccio of Ossining, grandson Joseph DiCioccio and wife Deborah of Montrose and great-grandson Joseph Jr. He will be reposing Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9PM. Mass of the Resurrection Thursday 10AM, entombment Gate of Heaven Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Ann’s Church 25 Eastern Avenue Ossining, NY 10562 appreciated.

Dorothy E. Juliano

Dorothy E. Juliano of Ossining died March 5, 2008 at home, she was 88. She was born August 13, 1919 in Peekskill to John and Rachel Smalley. Dorothy married Raymond Juliano September 14, 1941. She worked for the Ossining Board of Education for many years. Dorothy was an avid golfer and enjoyed bowling. She is survived by her husband Raymond, daughters Linda (Walter) Tensel, Donna (George) Henry, sister Bernice Brewer, grandchildren Deborah, Scott, Dawn, Kristin, Mark and 8 great-grandchildren. She will be reposing Friday 2-4 & 7-9PM at Leach & Thomas, Inc. Funeral Home 32 State St. Ossining. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 10AM St. Ann’s Church, burial St. Augustine’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Phelps Hospice appreciated.

ROTINDO, ALBERT M.

Albert M. Rotindo, formerly of Ossining, died peacefully after a long and valiant battle with cancer, he was 85. Al met his disease as he did all things in his life, with a great deal of courage, integrity and humor. Al and wife Hilda (Chiulli) moved to Port St. Lucie FL in 1987. He was a veteran of the US Army having served in WWII. Al worked for General Electric in Ossining for many years. He is survived by his wife Hilda of Port St. Lucie, sons Michael and wife Cindy Teeple of Kent Lakes, Albert and wife Patricia of Croton, brother Dominick and wife Jennie of Port St. Lucie, brother-in-law Mario Chiulli and wife Ida Mae of Port St. Lucie, good friends George and Donna Watson of Port St. Lucie and Mario DiDomizio of Ossining, granddaughter Brianne and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his parents, sister Antoinette (Nettie) Gavin and brother Philip. He will be reposing Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9PM at Leach & Thomas, Inc. Funeral Home 32 State Street Ossining, NY 10562. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 10AM at St. Ann’s Church, burial St. Augustine’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Treasure Coast Hospice 1201 S.E. Indian St. Stuart, FL 34997 appreciated.

CONWAY, MARY

Mary Conway of Ossining died on January 25, 2005. She was born in Ossining on February 28, 1926 to Patrick and Mary Morrisey Conway. Mary worked for Reader’s Digest for many years. She is survived by her brother Daniel (Janet), sister Catherine, nephews James (Susan) Conway, Frank Castaldo, Patrick Conway, Michael Conway and nieces Kim (Gavin) Quain and Trisha Conway, Patricia (Rory) Meade, Sharon (James) Matthews and Susan (John) Bucknell. She was pre-deceased by her brothers James Conway, Patrick Conway and sister Patricia Castaldo. She will be reposing today Wednesday 4 – 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 10 AM at St. Augustine’s Church, burial St. Augustine’s Cemetery.

RINALDI, MICHELEANGELO

Michelangelo Rinaldi, a longtime Ossining resident, died on January 24, 2005 surrounded by his loving family, he was 79. Michelangelo was born in Sassinoro, Italy on July 3, 1925 to Angela Maria Palumbo and Luigi Rinaldi. He served in the Italian Army during WWII. Michelangelo married Irene Picucci. They moved to Uruguay and then to Ossining in 1974. He enjoyed music, bocce, playing cards and traveling. First and foremost, he loved spending time with his family. Michelangelo was a talented horticulturist and generously shared his bounty with family and friends. He was a communicant of St. Ann’s Church. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Michelangelo is survived by his wife of 54 years, Irene, sons Louie (Lorie) Rinaldi, Modesto (Teresa) Rinaldi, Giosue (Gina) Rinaldi, Antonio (Katie) Rinaldi, daughters Teresa (Juan) Rodriguez, Mariannina (Paul) Lonce and Rosina (Fernando) Denis. He was pre-deceased by an infant son, Guiseppe. Nono will hold a special place in the hearts of his 22 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Guiseppe Rinaldi, sister Lucia Apollonio and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He will be deeply missed. He will be reposing January 26, 2005 from 7-9 PM and January 27 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian burial January 28, 2005 at 11 AM at St. Ann’s Church, burial at St. Augustine’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Phelps Memorial Hospital E/R Renovation fund, 701 North Broadway, Sleepy Hollow, NY 10591 appreciated.

SELVAGGI, LORETTA

Loretta Selvaggi died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on January 19, 2005 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born in the Bronx to Joseph and Anita Mancuso Fortini. Loretta worked as a Nurse for Dr. Gary Lehrman in Briarcliff. She is survived by her loving husband Tony, son Anthony Jr, daughter Barbara Ann Selvaggi Landry, 3 grandchildren, brother Michael Fortini and sister Roseann Masci. Mass of Christian burial Friday January 21, 2005 at St. Christopher’s Church in Buchanan at 10 AM, entombment at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum.

KAMP, THEO G.

Theo G. Kamp of Croton died on January 19, 2005, he was 68. He was born in Chemnitz, Germany on March 18, 1936 to Theo and Margaret Klausner Kamp. Theo was a motivational speaker. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife Adele. Funeral arrangements were handled privately.

TUTTLE, JAMES H.

James H. Tuttle of Ossining died suddenly on January 11, 2005 at home. He was born in Verplanck, N.Y. on November 19, 1922 to James Herbert Tuttle and Emma Belford. James was a veteran of WWII having served in the Air Force. He worked as an accountant for the IRS for many years. He is survived by his wife Agnes, nephew Herbert Tuttle of Oklahoma, nieces Joanne Trainor of Putnam Valley, Jacqueline Luptomski of Arizona and Sharon Paige of Rochester. He was pre-deceased by his brothers Herbert and Jack and sisters Emily Lent and Adelaide Chenoweth. Funeral services were held privately.
