James T. Lomasney
HYDE PARK James T. Lomasney, 78, of Hyde Park, NY died on Sunday, February 8, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital, Poughkeepsie, NY. Mr. Lomasney was born in Schenectady, NY on August 10, 1930. He was the son of Ada S. McIntosh Lomasney and John R. Lomasney. In 1949, he married Elizabeth A. Trombley of Fort Ticonderoga, NY. She died in 1967. In 1968, he married Kathleen M. Sherman in Schenectady, NY. Mrs. Lomasney survives at home. Mr. Lomasney founded Lomasney Combustion in 1967 in Poughkeepsie, NY. The company served the MidHudson area for 35 years. He is survived by three sons, James T. Lomasney, Jr. of Bellingham, WA, David W. Lomasney and wife Sharon of Staatsburg, NY, Kevin R. Lomasney and wife Stacy of Kingston, NY, and two daughters, Karen A. Tobias and husband Bryan of Staatsburg, NY, and MaryAnne Utter and husband George of Hyde Park, NY. He is also survived by grandchildren Kelly Markou (Ted), David Quinn, Elizabeth, Zachary, Jennifer, Brett, Jake, Megan, and Alex Lomasney, and Alanna and Londyn Tobias, and great grandson Gabriel Markou. He is also survived by his brother Robert Lomasney of Saratoga Springs, NY. Mr. Lomasney was predeceased by two sons, John W. Lomasney and Bruce M. Lomasney, brothers William, Jack and Thomas, and sisters Sister Eileen Lomasney, C.S.J. and Mrs. Lois A. Sherman. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. at Sweet's Funeral Home, 4365 Albany Post Rd., Route 9, Hyde Park, NY. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 12 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel of St. Peter's Parish, 185 Hudson View Dr., Poughkeepsie, NY. Burial is to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, NY. Memorial donations may be made to Regina Coeli Church, 2 Harvey St., Hyde Park, NY. Richard T. McGill
POUGHKEEPSIE - Richard T. McGill, 60, a lifetime resident of Poughkeepsie died on Sunday, February 8, 2009 at Vassar Brothers Memorial Center. Born May 1, 1948 in Poughkeepsie, he was the son of Harold McGill and Olive Meade. Richard married Charlotte Simmons on January 23, 1976 in Poughkeepsie, NY. Mrs. McGill survives at home. Richard worked for the City of Poughkeepsie Sanitation Dept. for 40 years retiring in 2007. In addition to his wife, Richard is survived by his sons, Richard McGill and his wife, Amber, of Pleasant Valley, Michael McGill of Poughkeepsie; his daughters, Maria Wolff of Poughkeepsie, Michelle McGill of Stanfordville; brothers, Joseph, Patrick, Robert, Thomas, and Charles McGill; sisters, Debra Penfield and Barbara Smith; 2 granddaughters, Angeline and Madison; several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brothers, Harold, Donald and William; and his sister, Phyllis. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 10, 2009 from 7-9pm, funeral services will be 10am Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at the Joseph J. Darrow Sr. Funeral Home, 39 So. Hamilton St., Poughkeepsie, NY 452-1840. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Francesca Molle
WAPPINGERS FALLS - Francesca Molle of Wappingers Falls, formally of Mt. Vernon, died Saturday, February 7, 2009. She was born in Harlem, NY on May 29, 1912 and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ida Bucci . She was predeceased by her husband Onorio and also a daughter Gloria D'Iorio. She is survived by her daughter Rose, and son-in-law Ricardo Alessandri, Daughter Joanne and son-inlaw Joe Schillaci : Son-in-law Joseph D'Iorio, a brother Ralph Bucci.; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, February 10, from 2 - 4 pm & 7 - 9 pm, at Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Homes, Inc., 1028 Main Street, Fishkill. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary Mother of the Church, in Fishkill, Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 10am followed by a Burial at Ferncliff Cemetery.

Ann Brooks Sheldon
ST. TAMMANY PARISH, LA - Ann Brooks Sheldon passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2009. She was born February 10, 1916 in Poughkeepsie, NY, to the late Fred and Melvina Barnett Brooks and has been a resident of St. Tammany Parish since 1967. The beloved wife of the late Marshall B. Sheldon, she is survived by her son, M. Ross Sheldon and number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Brooks B. Sheldon and her sister, Vera Thompkins. She was reared in Poughkeepsie, NY and graduated from Skidmore College in Saratoga, NY. After settling in St. Tammany, she became an active member of Christ Episcopal Church and the PEO Chapter in Covington. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial services on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at 1:00 PM from Christ Episcopal Church, 120 South New Hampshire St., Covington, LA 70433. Following a scattering ceremony at the Church's Garden of Memories, a time of fellowship and sharing will begin in the Garden Room at Christwood Retirement Community at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ Episcopal Church or to Fairhaven Children's Home, 21066 Fairhaven Rd., Covington, LA 70435. E.J. Fielding Funeral Home of Covington, LA, has been entrusted with arrangements.

Thomas E. Waite
NAPOLI, N.Y. - Thomas E. Waite, 61, of Allegany Road, Napoli, New York, passed away Saturday February 07, 2009 in W.C.A. Hospital in Jamestown, New York. He was born October 9, 1947 in New Brunswick, New Jersey the son of Emmett B. and Marion E. Daley Waite. He was a graduate of Roosevelt High School in Hyde Park, New York. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Tuesday (February 10, 2009) in the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, Randolph, New York.

Gay B. Walker
TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE - Gay B. Walker, 68, a 25 year local resident of the Town of Poughkeepsie, formerly of Newburgh, NY, died Wednesday, February 4, 2009. He was a Patient Care for Wassaic Development Center, went to Newburgh Free Academy and a member of First Congregational Church of Christ, Poughkeepsie, NY. He liked to bowl and sing in the Church Choir. Born March 5, 1940, in Newburgh, NY, he was the son of Benjamin and Louvina Jenkins Walker. Survivors include sister, Theatrice Baker of Highland; brother and sisterin-law, Eugene and Daisey Walker of Kansas, MO; sister and brother -inlaw, Lilline and Benjamin Powell of TX; brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Felicia Walker of Hopewell Jct., NY; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Leatrice Fryar and Anna May Wheeler. There are no calling hours. A Memorial service will be held at 7:00pm on February 12, 2009 at First Congregation Church of Christ, Poughkeepsie, NY. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Charles Archer
DOVER PLAINS, NY - Charles T. Archer, 62, a 25-year resident of Dover Plains, NY, formerly of Carmel, NY, died Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, CT. Mr. Archer was the founder and president of Centrak Security Services in Jefferson Valley, NY established in 1976. Born February 9, 1947 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Edmund and Helen (Clausen) Archer. On April 11, 1981 in Danbury, CT, he married Adaliene Arruda who survives at home. Mr. Archer was a Marine Corps veteran who enjoyed fishing, camping and boating on Long Island Sound at 11B (buoy). Besides his wife, he is survived by a brother, David Archer of Florida and a sister, Debbie Thompson of Florida, and close friend, Peter Buck of Danbury, CT. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2009 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. Funeral services will take place on Monday, February 23, 2009 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Dover Plains, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the J. H. Ketcham Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 911, Dover Plains, NY 12522.
