Lynne Ann Healey
Lynne Ann Healey, 42, of Old Trail Road, Fonda, N.Y., passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 9, [2001] at St. Mary's Hospital, Amsterdam.
She was born on June 6, 1959 in Little Falls, the daughter of Ethel (Van Husen) Healey and the late William Healey.
Miss Healey was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include her mother, Ethel of Fort Plain; three brothers, William M. Healey and wife, Monica, of Mount Airy, Md., James Healey and wife, Marjorie, of Alamosa, Colo. and Joseph Healey of McGill AFB, Tampa, Fla.; three sisters, Deborah Sheely of Fort Plain, Mary Puznowski and husband, Paul, of Dolgeville and Melissa Brown and husband, Richard, of Fort Plain; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Smith-Woody and Enea Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville, N.Y. All memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

Geraldine Fosmire
Geraldine Fosmire, 84, of Nelliston, N.Y., died Wednesday at Albany Medical Center after a short illness.
She was born on April 2, 1917 in Gloversville, the daughter of Quincy and Ethel Chapin Mead. She graduated from Gloversville High School and later resided in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. from 1956 to 1984. She later moved to Nelliston.
She was employed at Wood & Hyde Co., Gloversville, as a bookkeeper for over 10 years; later as a bookkeeper for Rehabilitation Inc. and retired as a bookkeeper from May Insurance Co., both of Poughkeepsie.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Poughkeepsie.
Survivors include her husband, David Fosmire Sr. of Nelliston; two sons, Thomas Fosmire of Cincinnati, Ohio and David Fosmire Jr. of Tucson, Ariz.; one daughter, Deborah Donovan of Poughkeepsie; four sisters, Beatrice Simons of Wells, Victoria Michalek of Gloversville, Lucille Mead of Schenectady and Rosalie Buyce of Florida; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family will be receiving friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Hollenbeck Funeral Home, 4 Second Ave., Gloversville, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Thomas Mithon, pastor of First Baptist Church, Amsterdam, will officiate. Interment will take place at Broadalbin Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.

Phyllis B. O'Quin
Mrs. Phyllis B. O'Quin, 69, of 11th Avenue in DeLand, Fla., died Oct. 9, at her residence.
She was born in St. Johnsville. She moved from St. Johnsville to the Daytona Beach, Fla. area in 1969.
She retired from Rand-McNally but also worked for Benline for 11 years as a graphic artist.
After retiring she was a crossing guard for the Volusia County Sheriff's Office.
She enjoyed country music concerts, line dancing, scuba diving, horseback riding and fishing.
Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Bryant W. O'Quin Sr.; six sons, Bruce Bandel of Kingman, Ariz., Gary Bandel of Frankfort, N.Y., Wayne Bandel of Holly Hill, Fla., and Steven Dingman, Sean O'Quin and Sheldon O'Quin, all of DeLand; four daughters, Cynthia Mobley of DeLand, Deidre Davidson of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., Karen Taylor of Ormond Beach, Fla. and Monique O'Quin Green of Flagler Beach, Fla.; one sister, Beverly Petoff of Broadalbin; 25 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are by Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home, DeLand.

Clara B. Peters
Mrs. Clara B. Peters, 73, of Route 10, Johnstown, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, at Amsterdam Memorial Hospital, from injuries she received in an automobile accident on Sunday.
She was born on June 22, 1928 in Smithville Flats, the daughter of Frank and Edna Marvin Parker.
Mrs. Peters was a member of North Bush United Methodist Church; Nick Stoner Senior Citizens; United Methodist Auxiliary; administrative board of the church; TOPS; appointed to Albany District Mission Team of United Methodist Church; Mayfield Grange; Pomona Grange; a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, and home care nursing in the Caroga Lake area.
She was employed for 27 years at the former MCA and then UNI Distribution until her retirement in 1997.
Survivors include four sons, Robert and Rudy Peters of Hope, Elton Peters of the town of Day and Douglas Peters of Johnstown; one daughter, Cathy Bartholf of Hope; her companion, Henry Peters of Johnstown; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by one daughter, Dawn E. Foster, who died in May, and her sister, Loretta Miller.
Calling hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at A.G. Cole Funeral Home Inc., 215 E. Main St., Johnstown. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Claudia Britton will officiate. Cremation will take place at Vale Crematory, Schenectady. Memorial contributions may be made to North Bush United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 180, Caroga Lake, NY 12036.

Mildred M. Barker Stewart
Mrs. Mildred M. Barker Stewart, 88, died Thursday, Oct. 4, at Wells Nursing Home, Johnstown. She had resided there for the past three years.
She was born on Jan. 2, 1913 in Gloversville, the daughter of John and Grace Wilmarth Barker. She was a graduate of Gloversville High School and the former Gloversville Business School.
Mrs. Stewart was employed at the former Franklin Morrell Glove Co. and later for 18 years as an aide at Nathan Littauer Hospital.
She was a member of Kingsborough Presbyterian Associate Reformed Synod, and Ida McGinnis Senior Citizens Club.
She is survived by her son, David J. Stewart of Johnstown; a daughter, Vida S. Kane of Canada Lake; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one niece and one nephew. She was married in 1931 to David Henry Stewart, who died on Dec. 6, 1937. She was also predeceased by her brother, Leroy Baker; sister, Marjorie Van Dusen and granddaughter, Linda Stewart.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home Inc., 51 Fremont St., Gloversville where a funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. The Rev. R.W. Williams will officiate. Interment will take place at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.

Mary Jane Aldi
Mary Jane Aldi, 87, formerly of Park Street, Gloversville, died Friday morning at the Fulton County Residential Health Care Center following a long illness.
She was born on April 10, 1914, in Cleveland, Ohio. She was employed by the former Robbins Business Equipment Co. in Gloversville.
She was predeceased by four husbands, Fred Chesboro, Charles Robbins, Harry Brown and Joseph Aldi; and one daughter, Nicole Harriett.
Survivors include one son, Brooks Robbins of Fort Plain; one daughter, Charlene Mazor of Rock City Falls; four grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at a time to be announced in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Arrangements are by the Northville Funeral Home.

Florence Amos
Florence S. Amos, 90, of Slingerlands, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 2, at St. Peter's Hospital, Albany.
Mrs. Amos was born on Feb. 1, 1911, in Greenwich, N.Y., the daughter of the late William and Inabel (Edgerton) Simms. She graduated as valedictorian of the class of 1928 at Greenwich High School and cum laude with the class of 1932 at Syracuse University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in journalism. Mrs. Amos enjoyed sports, playing bridge, and writing letters to the editor on political issues.
She is survived by one daughter, Judith Hubbell of Janesville, Wis.; four granddaughters, Sarah Ritman and her husband Philip of Rochester, Minn., Susan Brede and her husband Tom of Mosinee, Wis., Nancy Starfeldt and her husband Ross of Appleton, Wis., and Lucy Hubbell of La Crosse, Wis.; three grandsons, Tim Willard and his wife Carolyn of Hingham, Mass., Bill Willard and his wife Alexandra of Johnstown, and Richard Willard of New York City; five great-grandchildren, Linda and Kevin Brede, Benjamin and Eleanor Starfeldt, and Abigail Ritman; a son-in-law, Tom Willard of Caroga Lake, N.Y.; and several cousins.
Mrs. Amos was predeceased by her husband, William W. Amos; and one daughter, Cynthia Willard.
A memorial service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church of Delmar, 428 Kenwood Ave., Delmar. Interment will take place at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Greenwich Cemetery, Greenwich, N.Y. Donations in her memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 1450 Western Ave., Albany, NY 12203 or Cynthia Willard Scholarship Fund at Johnstown High School. Arrangements are by Applebee Funeral Home, Delmar.
