MCCAFFREY, BARBARA ANN
Barbara Ann McCaffrey, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died on May 12, 2010. She was 81. Mrs. McCaffrey was born on May 15, 1928 in New Rochelle to the late Raymond D. and Evelyn (Goodman) Porter. She was a graduate of Holy Family Grammar School, St. Gabriel's High School, and Berkley College. On May 14, 1949 she married John P. McCaffrey, Sr. He predeceased her in 2003. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church and was a member of their Ladies Guild. She is survived by five sons, John Jr. and his wife Kathleen, Michael and his wife Arlene, William and his wife Mary, Patrick and his wife Diane, and Robert and his wife Clare; ten grandchildren, Kristine, Kara, Erin Zigler, Alison Moore, Jennifer, Brian, Meghan, Jack, Kerry Ann, and Caoilinn; two great-grandchildren, Luke and Kylee Zigler; and a brother Tom Porter. She was pre-deceased by her brother Raymond Porter. Visiting Sunday 2-4 & 7-9PM at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Pl, New Rochelle. Mass Monday 10:30AM at Holy Family Church. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to Friends of Karen, PO Box 190, Purdys, NY 10578.

Arthur Joseph Isidori of Yonkers, NY died on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at the age of 65. Born on October 22, 1945 to Arthur and Fanny (Apuzzo) Isidori, he was raised and educated in Yonkers. Mr. Isidori recently worked as a chef at Admiral’s Cove Golf Club in Jupiter, FL where he resided before he passed away. Mr. Isidori was the owner of Pepino’s Restaurant in Greenwich, CT from 1983 - 1988 and Arturo’s Restaurant in Norwalk, CT & Mahopac, NY from 1994-2005. Arthur married Denise Forte on August 11, 1974 and they had two children Joseph and Kristina. Joseph now resides in White Plains, NY and Kristina (Brian) Eslick now resides in Scarsdale, NY. He also survived by two grandchildren, Sophia and Logan. On May 19, 1992 he married Meryl Murray, she survives. Arthur was the brother of Thomas (Catherine) Isidori of Stamford, CT, and Donald (Karen) Isidori of Fishkill, NY; both survived. Arthur was a kind man, giving all he could to everybody he knew. He was a loyal Yankees fan and a Chicago Bears fanatic. Visiting hours will be at Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Ave, Yonkers on Sunday, November 21 from 6-9 PM. Catholic Mass will be at Annunciation Church in Crestwood, NY on Monday at 10 AM.

Joseph P. Slack formerly of 71 Hillside Ave. in New Rochelle died April 16 at The Wartburg, Mt. Vernon. He was 97. He is survived by his wife Irene Ruschmeyer Slack, also of The Wartburg, his son, grandson, and two great-grandchildren. The George T. Davis Funeral Home made funeral arrangements.

Claudia F. Smith of Mahopac, NY and formerly of Bedford Hills, NY died Wednesday May 12, 2010. She was 67. She was born in Ft. Dodge, IA on November 25, 1942, the daughter of Basil and Lela Brown. Claudia was a retired licensed practical nurse for Putnam Medical Group in Carmel, NY. On July 31, 1961 she married Ronald W. Smith in Sunnyvale, CA. In addition to her husband of Mahopac, she is survived by her daughters, Dawn Andren and her husband Robert and Tracey Smith of Mahopac, her brother Roger Brown of San Jose, CA and her granddaughters, Morgan and Kimberly. Visiting Saturday from 7-9 PM and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Monday at 10:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, Brewster with private cremation services to follow. STEBBINS, HARRY LADUKE
Harry LaDuke Stebbins Jr., died Tuesday morning in his home surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his former wife Betty Jane Stebbins, his current wife Carol Patricia Stebbins, his seven children, four grandsons, five great-grandchildren and his brothers David and Edwin. A memorial will be held at The Church of the Good Shepherd in Granite Springs, NY on Saturday, May 15, at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers please donate to the church's memorial garden fund.
TIERNEY, JOHN J.
John J. Tierney, age 84, of Brewster, New York died Wednesday May 12, 2010 in Ridgefield, CT. Mr. Tierney was born September 13, 1925 in New York, NY son of the late James and Delia (Casey) Tierney. He married Helen Beatty in St. Jerome's Church in Bronx, NY on March 18, 1945. Helen predeceased John on February 17, 1999. Mr. Tierney served in the Navy during WWII then worked as a conductor for Metro North in Brewster for forty five years before retiring in 1988. Mr. Tierney is survived by his three sons; John (Diane) of Milford, CT, Thomas (Kathy) of Mahopac, NY, James (Mary) of Brookfield, CT,a brother Michael of Las Vegas Nevada, eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday May 15, 2010 10:30 am at St. Lawrence O'Toole Church, Brewster, NY. Interment following in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY. The wake will be held at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY on Friday May 14th from 4-8 pm. AGOSTINO, ROCCO
Rocco Agostino of Parker, CO formerly of Mahopac, NY died Sunday, April 25, 2010. He was 58. He was born in Italy on January 3, 1952, the son of Nicola and Teresa Agostino. Rocco graduated from Somers High School in 1971 and was the owner of Western Woodworks. In addition to his Mother, he is survived by his children, Rocco Jr., Jessica and Rachel and his brothers, Dominic, Robert, Anthony and Nicholas. Visiting Friday from 3-7 P.M. at Joseph J.
