ANNICCHIARICO, JAMES A. "ACE"

James A. "Ace" Annicchiarico, 82 a long time Dobbs Ferry resident and the "Mayor of Main Street" died April 27, 2010. Born in Zungoli, Italy he came to the US in 1929 and settled in Dobbs Ferry. Ace was well known and liked by everyone who traveled Main Street. He served in the US Navy during WW II. On September 23, 1957 he married Jean Castro. Ace worked for the Village of Dobbs Ferry for over 30 years. He also worked at Jimmy's Restaurant and was a 50 year member of the Livingston Hose Company of the Dobbs Ferry Volunteer Fire Dept. Ace was a great help to his daughter and son in law, caring for their children. He loved his grandchildren. Surviving are his wife Jean, son Joseph A. Annicchiarico, daughter and son-in-law Rosemarie and Anthony Corradina, his brother Peter, his cherished grandchildren Vicky, Jeana and Jamie, along with his devoted nephew Alan Piko who looked after his Uncle Ace. ANNUNZIATA, FRANCES C.

Frances C. Annunziata of Scarsdale, formerly of Mt. Vernon, died April 26, 2010. She was born to Michele and Alfonsina Moccio on May 3, 1917 in New Jersey. She was predeceased by her beloved Husband, Albert, and her siblings Dolores, N. James (Mickey), Cecilia (Ceil) Bevacqua, Rose Carrozza, Michae1, Matilda (Tillie) Manley, Joseph and Adeline (Lena) Gaito. Frances devoted her adult life to being an exceptional homemaker, Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She is survived by her loving children, Albert (Adrienne) of Bedford, Michael (Leslie) of Yorktown, and Mary Ann Tighe (Kevin) of Ossining. Also survived by her cherished grandchildren: Christopher, Steven and Gregory Annunziata, Nicholas and Marisa Bertone, step-granddaughter Samantha Tighe, as well as her devoted sisters, Mary Gaito and Florence (William) DeVito and brother Robert (Kay). She is also survived by many devoted nieces and nephews. Reposing at Bennett's Funeral Home at 824 Scarsdale Avenue in Scarsdale on Wednesday from 4-8 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Pius X Church, 91 Secor Road in Scarsdale on Thursday morning at 10 A.M. BELL, RICHARD ANTHONY

Richard Anthony Bell, 47, of Montvale, NJ, formerly of Orangeburg, on Monday, April 26, 2010. Beloved husband of Vania (nee May). Devoted father of Austin Robert and Savanna May. Loving son of Aldo and Nella Bell of Tannersville. Dear son-in-law of Hector A. and Sonia Y. May of New City. Also survived by many loving relatives. Pre-deceased by his brother Robert Bell. Richard was an Automotive Technical Instructor for the Raytheon/GM Training Center in Ardsley. He was a member and president of New Jersey Wiz Skiers. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Thursday at 10:00 AM at St. Catharine's RC Church in Blauvelt, with interment to follow at Rockland Cemetery in Sparkill. CHRISTENSEN, RUTH M.

Ruth M. Christensen (Macauley) passed away April 22, 2010 with her loving family by her side. She was born November 9, 1921 in Elizabeth, NJ to Pauline (Pfeiffer) and John Macauley. She is predeceased by her first husband, Kurt Borner, her late husband, Carl Christensen, sister, June Heckel, and brother, Frederick Macauley. In 1979, Ruth retired from Boy Scouts of America after forty years. She was an avid fan of the Yankees for many years. Ruth is survived by her three daughters, Madeline Forman of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Catherine Feeney and husband, Mike of York, P.A., and Maryellen Lutkevich and husband, Richie of Thiells, N.Y. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Mary Anne Lieb of Brick, N.Y., Patricia Jensen of Stewartsville, N.J., Michele Latham of Edison, N.J., Rick Bryant of Manchester, N.J., seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and her loving pet, Katie. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 30, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Entombment on Saturday, May 1, at 11:00 AM at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens in Woodbridge, N.J. In loving memory of Ruth M. CRISTAL, ELISEU (AL) R.

Eliseu (Al) R. Cristal, age 50, of West Haven, beloved husband of Lisa Carole Giordano Cristal, died on Sunday, April 25, 2010. Mr. Cristal was born in Constantum, Miranda do Douro, Portugal on May 1, 1959 to Purificacao Fernandes Cristal of Milford and the late Antonio Dias Cristal and was a Westchester area resident for several years prior to moving to West Haven 2 years ago. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed being by the water. He enjoyed collecting baseball cards, antiques, watches and knives. Survivors, in addition to his wife and mother, include a brother, John Cristal of New Rochelle, NY, a sister, Julieta Smith and her husband, J. Darrin of Milford, his godson, Ronan Smith and two nieces, Analyse Giordano and Carole Ann Fiorentino and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Friday evening at 5:30 PM in The Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford. Interment will be private. Friends may call on Friday 4-7PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Children's Health Fund, Development Dept, 215 West 125th Street, Suite 301, New York, NY 10027 in Al's memory.

CUFF, SR. ANN PATRICIA O.P.

Sr. Ann Patricia Cuff, formerly Agnes B. Cuff, a member of the Sisters of St. Dominic of Blauvelt, New York for the past 69 years, died on April 26, 2010 in St. Martin de Porres Infirmary, St. Dominic's Convent, Blauvelt, N.Y. Sr. Ann Patricia was 94 years of age. Sr. Ann Patricia was born to Patrick Cuff and Anna Cuff on November 8,1915 in the Bronx. She entered the Sisters of St. Dominic on September 8,1940 from St. Mary's Parish, Bronx, New York. Sr. Ann received the Dominican habit on July 2, 1941, professed first vows on July 3, 1942, and final vows on August 26, 1945. Sister held the B.S. in Education from Fordham University and the M.A. in Administration from Glassboro State College in New Jersey, Sr. Ann Patricia's many years of active ministry were devoted to the education of youth as a teacher and principal. Sister ministered in the following schools in the Archdiocese of New York as a teacher: St. Benedict's, 1943-1948; Our Lady of the Assumption, 1948-1954 and 1963-1967; St. Pius V 19541963, and St. Columba School, Hopewell Junction, 1972-1974. Sister Ann ministered as Principal of St. Mary's School, Bronx, N.Y. 1976-1978 and Transfiguration School, Collingswood, New Jersey, 1967-1972. Sister served the Congregation as Administrator of the Sisters' Infirmary, 1974 -1976, and 1981-1985. In addition, she served the congregation as Assistant Bookkeeper, 19781981, member of the Secretarial Staff, 1985-1990; Volunteer to the Senior Sisters, 1990-1993; Gift Shop Coordinator, 19931995, and provided supportive services 1995-2004. In 2004 due to failing health, Sr. Ann Patricia retired to St. Martin de Porres Infirmary. In addition to her religious congregation, Sr. Ann Patricia is survived by her nieces, Joan Lennon and Ethel Felton as well as her nephew Harold Hausle. She was predeceased by her sisters Loretta Hausle, Catherine Belotte, and Anna Denning as well as her brothers Vincent and Joseph. Relatives and friends can attend services at: St. Dominic's Convent, 496 Western Highway, Blauvelt, New York. WAKE: Wednesday, April 28, 2010, 3 - 8 P.M. FETKY, HELEN

Helen Fetky, 91, of Carmel, NY died on April 26, 2010. She was born on October 31, 1918 to Alexander and Julia (Peryasel) Kovach. On October 30, 1948 Helen married Andrew Fetky at St. Mary's Church in Yonkers, NY. She dedicated her entire life to her family. She is survived by her two loving sons; Andrew (Donna) and Ronald (Kathy), her sister Mary Resetar and five adoring grandchildren. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Andrew. Visitation will begin on Thursday from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Cargain Funeral Homes, Inc. A mass of Christian Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Yonkers, NY.
