MACEY, STEPHEN FRANCIS
Stephen Francis Macey of Naugatuck, CT, formerly of Croton-on-Hudson, NY, passed away on April 14, 2009. Stephen was born on July 21, 1927 to Stephen and Anna (Cibula) Macey in North Tarrytown, NY. He was a WWII Navy Veteran and worked as a Roofer in the Croton area for many years. He was also a volunteer fireman and an avid sports fan. Stephen is survived by his beloved sons, Scott (Sharlene), Paul (Pam) and William (Ronnie) Macey; and devoted daughters, Diane Macey, Lynn (Steven) Poirier and Sharon Macey; loving brothers Rudy and John Macey. His adoring grandchildren, Richard, Ryan, Bobby, Beth, Jonathon, Marissa, Bryce and Trevor. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Gavin, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Geraldine (Lukovic) on July 21, 2002, his brother Frank Macey and sisters, Helen Diminescu and Adele Macey. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday April 18, 2009 at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 41 Grand Street, Croton-on-Hudson, NY, his family will receive visitors from 10:00 to 11:00 am. MAGNOTTA, ALFONSO ("CHICK") SR.
Alfonso ("Chick") Magnotta, Sr. went home to the Lord on April 14, 2009. A lifelong resident of White Plains, Chick was born to the late Margaret and Rocco Magnotta on January 14, 1930. Throughout his life, Chick was known for his funny witty comments and as a gentle, loving, compassionate man. He married the late Filomena ("Fanny") Cuoco on Valentine's Day in 1954 at Mt Carmel. Church in White Plains. She passed away on January 2, 2000. Chick is survived by his two loving children, Linda Magnotta and Alfonso ("Allie") Magnotta Jr., (Fiancée Brenda Vecchiolla), all of W. Harrison. Also surviving are Chick's grandson, his "main man" Allie Magnotta III., granddaughter Jessica Magnotta; sisters Columbia Sposato, Josephine Montemurro, Lillian Viscomi, Margaret ("Bocky") Magnotta and Edith (Peter) Zuzolo; brothers John (Mary), George (Rose) and Charles (Marie); sisters-in-law Angie Magnotta, Annie (Joe) Fragano; brothers-in-law John and Michael (Pat) Cuoco and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Leon and Rocco Magnotta, Jr. Chick worked for 20 years at Stoffel Seals in Tuckahoe and for Westchester County for 14 years, but was best known as the proprietor of Chick's Luncheonette at Post Bowling Academy for 30 years. He could be frequently found at the Moose Lodge in W. Harrison teaching fellow members all he knew about bocce, breakfasting with friends at the White Plains Coach Diner or North Castle Diner or watching baseball as an avid Dodgers fan in a family of predominately Yankee fans. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Harrison High School Softball Booster Club, P.O. Box 684, Harrison, NY 10528 or St. Anthony of Padua Church's Music Fund, 85 Harrison St., W. Harrison, NY 10604. Visitation will be on Friday from 5-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday at 10:00am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, followed by interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. MARTIN, STEPHEN F.
Stephen F. Martin of Ossining, NY, formerly of Peekskill, NY passed away on April 15, 2009 at Rosary Hill in Hawthorne. He was 67 years old. Mr. Martin was an Electrician for Local 501 in White Plains, NY. Stephen was born on September 24, 1941 in Peekskill to Joseph and Constance Korhummel Martin. He attended Westchester Community College and served in the US Army from 1962 to 1964. On June 20, 1964 he married Diane Guarnieri at the Assumption Church in Peekskill. He is survived by his wife Diane Martin of Ossining, two daughters; Danielle Martin of Ossining and Nicole Martin Jackson and her husband Daniel of Croton, loving grandfather of Alex, Kevin and Molly Jackson. He was the brother of Susanna Mullin of Delaware, Monsignor Joseph A. Martin of Fishkill, Mary Wood of Garrison, George Martin of St. Petersburg, FL, John Martin of Yorktown Heights, Anne Gonsalves of Garrison and James Martin of Cortlandt Manor, NY. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by a sister Constance Flynn. Visitation is Saturday, 7-9pm and Sunday 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the JOSEPH F. NARDONE FUNERAL HOME, Peekskill, NY. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday 10AM at the Assumption Church. Interment will fol low at Assumption Cemetery. McDONALD, GLENN
Glenn McDonald, from Peekskill, died April 3, 2009 at home in Vero Beach, Fl. Survived by wife Karen McDonald, mother Charlotte Frank, sons William and Lawrence McDonald, stepson Sean Smith, siblings Susan (Egan) Michael, Andrew, and Thomas McDonald, and four grandchildren. A service will be held at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home in Peekskill on Friday, April 17, 7-9pm, and married his loving wife Carol Twitchell in Yonkers; she survives. Edward was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church. He also retired was a retired Chief Warrant Officer from the U.S. Army, where he received the European Service Medal, Bronze star Medal and American Service Medal. He served in Normandy, Sicily and Northern France. Mr. Moran was a Life Master Bridge Player. He served as Director of both Mt. Vernon and Yonkers Bridge Clubs and played in local and national tournaments. He is survived by his two loving children; Margaret (Peggy) Moran of New York City and Edward Moran of Yonkers; his cherished granddaughter Caroline. He is also survived by his beloved two sisters Sr. Mary Agatha Moran (S.J.) of West Hartford and Evelyn Foglio of Manchester, CT. He was predeceased by his two brothers John and Thomas Moran. Visiting hours will be at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Wednesday from 7-9 PM and Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 Pm. Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church on Friday April 17th at 9:30 AM. PERROTTA, JOHN F.

John F. Perrotta of Somers, formerly of Pleasantville, died Tuesday, April 14, at the Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla. He was eighty years old. John was born on November 2, 1928, in Cerisano, Italy, to Louis and Adelina Perrotta. His family immigrated to the United States and lived in Pleasantville. He married Patricia Coyle in September, 1963, at Our Lady of Pompeii Church and was a lifetime parishioner at Holy Innocents Church in Pleasantville. John proudly served as a sergeant in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. For many years, he owned Perrotta's Fruit Stand, started by his father and located at the Four Corners in Thornwood. John is survived by his wife, Patricia, his daughters, Adelina Perrotta of Briarcliff and Mary Rich and her husband, Myles, of North Salem, and his grandchildren, Elizabeth and John Rich. He is also survived by his sisters, Eva Muoio of Pleasantville, Mary Filice and her husband, Louis, of Pleasantville, and Ann D'Agostino of Danbury. He was predeceased by one sister, Josephine Santelli. The family will receive friends at the Beecher Funeral Home, Inc. in Pleasantville, Thursday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM at Holy Innocents R.C. Church in Pleasantville. Interment will follow at All Souls Cemetery in Pleasantville. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Rosary Hill Nursing Home 600 Linda Ave. Hawthorne, New York, a charity John supported.
