McCudden, Francis P. aged 70 of Ossining for the past 40 years passed away at home on March 16, 2007. Frank was an Army Veteran. He was formerly of the Bronx and a graduate of St. Jerome’s. He was born in the Bronx to John and Mary McCudden. He married Ann Mc Phillips on September 19, 1959.
He was the owner of D & M Glass in Buchanan, N.Y. He was an avid golfer, traveler and fisherman. He also enjoyed the time he spent with his 5 grandchildren, Kelly – Jean, Julie and Jamie Migliore and Deanna and Frankie Carey, family and many friends.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Ann and his children Mary Migliore of Montrose, NY and Maureen Carey of Briarcliff Manor, NY. His daughter Patricia predeceased him in 1980. Frank also leaves behind his brother Joseph of Croton, NY and his sister Eileen Fitzgerald of Briarcliff Manor, NY. His brother John predeceased him.
The family will receive friends at the Beecher Funeral Home, Inc. in Pleasantville on Sunday from 1 – 5 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM at St. Theresa’s R.C. Church in Briarcliff Manor. Burial to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

McKinney, Betty of Pleasantville passed away on December 11, 2007. She was 83. Betty was born in Washington, D.C. on October 28, 1924.
Betty married her loving husband Lewis W. on February 5, 1944 in New Haven, Ct. and they enjoyed the next 63 years together.
After receiving her college degree, Betty became a schoolteacher in primary education. She was a beautiful and talented woman and music was a large part of her life. She preformed featured roles at the Simsbury, Ct. Light Opera and at the Farmington, Ct. Summer Theatre and Pleasantville Musical Theatre. Betty also sang lead Soprano in numerous Church Choirs.
She is survived by her loving husband Lewis W. of Pleasantville and her children Douglas B. of Atlanta, Ga., Barbara McKinney Susan of Marine City, Mi. and David L. of Oakton, Va.
A Memorial Service for Betty will be announced in January.

Meberg, Tor J. of Hawley, PA, formerly of Briarcliff Manor & Brooklyn, NY. Husband of Eleanor (Buer). Father of Paul (Barbara) Meberg, Janice (Robert) Andersen, Ruth (Jay) Mueller and Kari (Mark) Olsen. Brother of Arne Meberg, Tom (Bud) Meberg, Robert Meberg, Sonja Indahl and Laurene Slovitt. Grandfather of Lauren, Daniel, Karen, Chris, Bethany, Kristen, Eric, Luke and Sonja.
Visitation Sat. 3-5 & 7-9pm Beecher Funeral Home, Inc., Pleasantville, NY. Funeral service Sun. 3pm Emanuel Lutheran Church, Pleasantville, NY. Interment Ocean View-The Cemetery Beautiful, Staten Island, NY.

Medeot, Madelyn of Thornwood, NY passed away on Nov. 23 at White Plains Hospital. She was 84.
Mrs. Medeot was born in Winsted, Ct. on December 18, 1922, the daughter of Anthony and Angela (Vanzo) Turra. She married Louis V. Medeot at St. Anthony’s Church in West Harrison on September 28, 1944. Mr. Medeot passed away November 3, 2001.
Mrs. Medeot moved to Pleasantville in 1944, and has resided in Thornwood since 1962. She worked for many years for the Westchester County Department of Probation as a legal secretary. She was an avid reader and loved flower arranging, dancing and animals. Mrs. Medeot was very devoted to her family, spending a lot of time traveling together throughout the US.
Mrs. Medeot is survived by her cousin, Catherine Lavieri of Connecticut. Her son Mark Medeot predeceased her in 1986. The family will receive friends at the Beecher Funeral Home in Pleasantville on Tuesday from 7 – 9 PM with a service to begin at 7:30 PM.

Meyer, Hannah, of Fleetwood, NY and formerly of Pleasantville, NY died June 1, 2008. She was 99.
Mrs. Meyer was born in Lehe, Bremerhaven, Germany July 25, 1908 the daughter of Johann and Johanna (Schweer) Bakker.
She was the middle child of 9 children and came to the United States in 1927.
She married Ernest Meyer on July 31, 1930 in Queens, NY. Mr. Meyer died in 1970 after 40 years of marriage.
Hannah and Ernest were the owners of Meyers Confectionary Store-an Ice Cream Parlor/Luncheonette in the Bronx for over 35 years. Hannah worked in the business with her husband as well as being a homemaker.
She is survived by her children of Joan M. (John, Sr.) Glynn, Jean H. (Bill H.) McDermott, John H. (Hannelore) Meyer and Harry E. (Barbara) Meyer. Grandmother of Eric Meyer, Heidi Miller, Claudia Saltzman (Ken), Christopher Meyer (Angie), Cary Meyer, Craig Meyer (Eleanor), Lindsay McDermott, Bill E. McDermott, John Glynn, Jr. (Gabriela) and Kelly Glynn (Matt Janousek). Great-Grandmother of Sam & Melissa Miller, Stephanie, Tyler & Hunter Meyer, Hudson & Brock Meyer. Her brothers and sisters, Bernhard Bakker, Liesbeth Latke, Ernst Bakker, Henny Goehner, Karolina Luttecke, Kathe Jarombke, Georg Bakker and Leni Balfanz all predeceased her.
Calling hours Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Beecher Funeral Home, Pleasantville. Funeral service Wednesday 10 AM, Emanuel Lutheran Church, Pleasantville. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.

Mitchell, John, 49, of Lagrange, NY formerly of the Bronx suddenly on January 18, 2007.
John was a retired N.Y.P.D. Detective.
He was the loving husband of Claudia and an adoring father to Marjorie & Emily.
John is survived by his loving parents Henry and Margaret.
He was a loving brother to Michael and his wife Pam.
He was an adoring uncle of Michael and Kristen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at Holy Rosary R.C. Church, Hawthorne, NY at 10 AM.
Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
