MANGANO, CARMINE F.

Carmine F. Mangano, 88, of Mt. Vernon, died on July 10, 2008. Beloved husband of Gloria. Loving father of Patricia and her husband Henry Rondina and Paula Henry; Cherished uncle of Rosemarie Lacerra. Devoted grandfather of Kara Rondina, Leslie and her husband Charlie Archambault, Mary Beth Rondina, Michael Henry and his wife Beth, and Christopher Henry, and great-grandfather of Samantha Rose Archambault. Dear brother of Nancy Mangano and the late John, Sam, Fiore, Maria, Angelina, and Ann. In addition to being a loving husband and wonderful father, he was a kind and loving uncle to many in the family. Carmine was lovingly cared for by Joyce Skervin and Ethel Tettiway. Carmine was born on January 1, 1920 to Pasquale and Maria Mangano in Mt. Vernon, NY. He was a decorated Army veteran serving from 1941-1945 in Europe and North Africa. He worked as a printer for Acme Manifolding in Tuckahoe and Phillips Electronics in New Jersey and then as a courier for the Board of Education in Mt. Vernon. The family will receive friends at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC., EASTCHESTER, Sunday 3-7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial, Monday July 14th at 10 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Mt. Vernon. Entombment to follow at Ferncliff Mausoleum.

MASUCCI, ANNE M.

Anne M. Masucci, 95, of Yonkers passed away on July 10, 2008. She was born on July 9, 1913 in New York City to Vincent and Amelia Grosso. Anne has been a Yonkers resident since 1957 prior to that she was from Mt. Vernon. She married her loving husband Dominick Masucci on Oct 31, 1943 at St. Frances of Assisi Church in Mt Vernon He predeceased her. Anne love to bake and she loved to garden. Besides her husband Anne is predeceased by her grandson Dominick III and her six sisters and one brother. She is survived by her loving children Dominick Masucci of Yonkers, Maryann Coyle of Yonkers, Anita Hughes of Norwalk, CT, her cherished grandchildren Jessica LaScala, Gregory and Lauren Coyle, Erica Hughes, Jennifer Masucci and her adored great grandchildren Patrick and Sophia LaScala and Andalusia Coyle. Also surviving is her caring brother Eugene Grosso of Coscob, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Anne on Monday July 14th at 10 AM at St. Anthony's Church in Yonkers with Interment to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday July 13th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Whalen & Ball Funeral Home. WHALEN & BALL FUNERAL HOME 168 Park Ave Yonkers (914) 965 - 5488.

MCCROSSAN, SARAH (NEE MCKEON)

Sarah (nee McKeon) McCrossan on July 10, 2008. Native of Drumcoura, Ballinamore Co. Leitrim, Ireland. Beloved wife of the late John "Jack". Loving mother of Susan, Patricia Sheridan, Margaret Sheridan, John, Bernard, Josephine Simpson, Thomas and the late Mary Brennan. Cherished grandmother of 19 and great-grandmother of 24. Reposing Saturday 7-9 PM and Sunday 2-5 and 7-9 PM at Riverdale-on-Hudson Funeral Home, 6110 Riverdale Avenue, Bronx. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, Mt. Vernon, NY. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

MILANO, SARAH ANN

Sarah Ann Milano, 48, of Yonkers, died suddenly on July 9, 2008. Beloved companion of Mark. Dear sister of Celia, and Roy Milano, Patty DelGrosso, and Joey Murano. The family will receive friends at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC., EASTCHESTER, Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM . NALLEY, BARBARA JEAN

Barbara Jean Nalley loving mother to Jack and Whitnee Shulman, devoted daughter of Darlene Nalley, sister to Judy, Kathy, and Jerry, and fiancé of Arthur Panoff, peacefully passed the morning of July 9th. She will forever remain in our hearts, fondly remembered, and never forgotten. The funeral and passed away on July 8, 2008 at age 62. Born November 30, 1945 in Port Chester, NY to Armand and Nadine Pugliese. Armand worked as a Union Plumber for over 45 years and loved to hunt and fish. He is survived by his cherished children Dennis (Gina), Jason, and Shanie Pugliese, adoring grandchildren Brianna, Joseph, and Isabelle, and brother Edward Pugliese and many close friends. A private family funeral was held.

SCHMIDT, FLORENCE DETEMPLE

Florence 'Aunt Flo' DeTemple Schmidt, of Orangeburg, passed away on July 10, 2008 at Nyack Hospital. She was lovingly known to everyone as 'Aunt Flo' and those who met her affectionately adopted her as their own 'Aunt Flo'. She was born in Manhattan on October 19, 1916 to Joseph and Florence C. Riley DeTemple. Florence was a banker at Manufacturers Hanover in the Bronx for 35 years before retiring in 1978. She was a parishioner of St. Catharine's Church in Blauvelt. Florence was predeceased by her husband, John 'Buddy' Schmidt, who died during WW II. She is survived by her loving niece, Louise Buhler; her beloved grandnieces, Kimberly Mulrenan and Kelly Phelan-Schmalz; and her dear great-grandnephews Aidan and Kieran Mulrenan and dear great-grandniece Evangeline 'Evan' Schmalz. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, 10 AM at St. Catharine's Church in Blauvelt with burial to follow at St. Catharine's Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Saturday, 7-9 PM and Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM, at the Moritz Funeral Home in Tappan, NY.
