FULTON, TERESA N.

Teresa N. Fulton of Ossining passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at age 87, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Boston, MA on September 19, 1927 to Dr. Stanley J.G. and Helen Nowak, and was educated at Simmons College.
On May 26, 1951, she wed Roger H. Fulton at in Our Lady of Mercy in Belmont, Massachusetts.
Terry and Roger raised five children; Gilbert H. (Bonnie) of Danbury, CT, Sally F. Martini (Rick) of Putnam Valley, NY, Julie Fulton Kelly (Jim) of Bar Harbor, ME, Amy Fulton Tiseo (Lou) of Easton, CT and John T. Fulton (Jessica) of Mt. Kisco, NY.
She was the proud grandmother of three grandsons and three granddaughters; Taylor and Holland Martini, Meagan and Leah Kelly and Nicholas and John Tiseo.
She was predeceased by her husband, her parents and her brother, Stanley J. Nowak.
Terry loved all nature, birds, flowers and trees.
Her favorite vacation spots were Mount Desert Island, ME and Martha’s Vineyard, MA.
She loved to paint and to fill her home with the flower arrangements she so loved to design.
Terry enjoyed listening to classical music with her husband, and cherished the recent time she spent with her fellow residents at Atria on the Hudson.
Memorial Visitation will be Wednesday May 6, 2015 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM. at Leach & Thomas Funeral Home, Ossining, N.Y., with a Mass celebrating her life at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, Ossining, N.Y. on Thursday, May 6, 2015 at 10AM.

COLAGIOVANNI, ANTONIO

Antonio Colagiovanni of Ossining died Apr. 28, 2015. He was 77.
He was born Jul. 9, 1937 in Baranello, Italy to Francesco & Angela Maria (Manocchio) Colagiovanni.
Antonio worked as a carpenter for Local 149.
He was pre-deceased by his sister Rosina and brother Lorenzo.
Antonio is survived by his wife Amelia, son Frank, daughters Rosina, Silvana, brother Mario and 7 grandchildren.
He will be reposing Thurs. 2-4 & 7-9pm at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St. Ossining.
Mass of Christian Burial St. Ann’s Church Fri. 10am, burial Dale Cemetery.

MARINO, ROSEMARIE “TOOTSIE”

Rosemarie Matranga Marino passed away suddenly on June 22, 2016 at her home of 54 years in Ossining.
She was 81 years old.
She was born October 17, 1934 to John and Margaret Matranga in Tarrytown, NY.
Tootsie is survived by her daughter Mary Margaret Vadala of Ossining, NY, her son Anthony Vadala Jr. (Renee) of Cortlandt Manor, NY, step-son Tommy Marino, her sister Margaret Papp (Julian) of Brewster, NY, her brother John Matranga of Vero Beach, FL.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Michael Bozzuto, Angela Bozzuto, Anthony V. Vadala (Carla), Joseph Vadala (Christine), Heather Buxton, Shana Buxton, step-grandchildren Tommy, Michael, Christina, Jordan, great-grandchildren, Christian Salese, Dominic Reynolds, Gianna Rose Vadala, step-great-grandchildren Tommy, Matthew, Ryan and by many nieces, nephews and friends.
"Tootsie", as she was known, was a great cook and baker.
The entire town of Ossining knew about Tootsie’s cooking.
Her favorite phase was “Do you think this is the Highland?”
She was predeceased by her husband Anthony.
She will be reposing Sunday 2-6pm at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St. Ossining.
Mass of Christian burial Monday 10am at St. Augustine’s Church, burial St. Augustine’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the charity of your choice in her name would be greatly appreciated.

LEGGIO, JOSEPHINE

Josephine Leggio, 96, died on June 13, 2016 of natural causes.
Born December 8, 1919 in Tarrytown, NY.
Together with her husband they enjoyed many years of their retirement in Arizona and returned to New York to spend the remaining years with family.
She was the beloved wife of John Leggio who pre-deceased her on February 13, 2006.
She was a dedicated family woman who spent most of her life caring for her family.
She loved cooking and her legacy lives through Mima Restaurant in Irvington, NY which her family owns and operates.
“Her picture will always hang on the wall here, her recipes will serve many and her memory will live forever in our hearts.”
She is survived by her 4 sons, John (Maria) of Sarasota FL, Robert “Bobby” of Sarasota, FL, Phillip (Lorraine) of Ossining, NY, Richard “Ricky” (Sally) of Apollo Beach, FL.
She also has 15 grandchildren; David Leggio, Bobbie Volpe, Robert Leggio Jr., Dana Santucci, Diane Leggio, Joseph Leggio, John Leggio, Robert R. Leggio, Ricky Morley, Lori Gomes, Kim O’Hare, Beverly Klastow, Joe Marino, Shanon Walsh and Mike Giordano.
She is also great-grandmother to 29 great-grandchildren. “Vita Meravigliosa”.
She will be reposing Sunday 3-7pm at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State Street, Ossining.
Mass of Christian Burial Monday 11am at St. Augustine’s Church, burial Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to breast cancer appreciated.

GILCHREST, STEPHEN LOUIS

A wake and service will be held Saturday June 18th, 2016 for Stephen Gilchrest at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State Street, Ossining.
The viewing will begin at 11am followed by the service at 12pm.

GARCIA, CARLOS E.

Carlos E. Garcia, formerly of Ossining, died suddenly on June 10, 2016. He was 54.
He was born on September 15, 1961 in Montevideo, Uruguay to Edwardo & Maria (Trindade) Garcia.
He is survived by his parents, his wife Gutty Wiesner, daughter Kristen Garcia and brother Marcelo Garcia.
He will be reposing Monday 5-9pm at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State Street Ossining.
Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 10am at St. Ann’s Church, burial Dale Cemetery.

KADLEC, MARIE (CARRIGAN)

Marie Kadlec of Ossining died on June 9, 2016, she was 62.
She was born October 8, 1953 in Ossining to Kenneth and Joan (Dullea) Carrigan.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Paul.
Marie is survived by her daughters Sharon Koshak, Jaclyn Bingell, 3 grandchildren Stephanie Paulie and Alana, her brother William Carrigan, sisters Luann Flores, Dorothy Christman and Denise Smith.
She will be reposing Sunday 2-6pm at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St., Ossining where services will be held Mon 10am, burial Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, donations to Rosary Hill appreciated.

REINLEIB, DOLORES nee MARINO

Dolores “Dee Dee” Reinleib of Flushing died suddenly on June 4, 2016. She was 69. She was born on March 9, 1947 in Yonkers to Anthony “Hawk” & Doris (LaVelle) Marino.
She grew up in Ossining.
Dee Dee worked for the NYC Dept. of Education as a Special Ed. Teacher.
She retired a few years ago.
Dee Dee was a very spiritual person her entire life.
She is survived by her son Jordan, brother Tommy Marino, ex-husband Joel “Joey” and nieces & nephews.
She will be reposing Wed. 3-7pm at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State Street Ossining.
A graveside Service will be Thursday 11am at Pine Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Best Friends Animal Society at ny.bestfriends.org or Lily Dale Assembly at lilydale@netsync.net appreciated.
