MARTIN, DR. ALICE J.
March 27, 1931 - April 10, 2010 Dr. Alice J. Martin, 79, of Sarasota died April 10, 2010. Services will be private. PalmsRobarts Funeral Home in Sarasota is handling arrangements. Survivors include her daughter, Terri McNeely of Cocoa; a son, Todd of N.Y.; and grandson Brennan Hellings. She was born in Bronx, N.Y., on March 27, 1931 She attended Dominican College in Blauvelt, N.Y., for her B.S. degree, New York University for her master's degree and Walden University for her Ph.D. in nursing education. She was a professor in the nursing department at Rockland Community College. Dr. Martin was also a licensed real estate broker and ran ERA Real Estate in Greenwood Lake, N.Y. She was also an ordained interfaith minister. While living in Sarasota, she was a member of the Jung Society, The Women of Wisdom Group, and the St. Barnabas Group.

Lillie M. McDonald was called home peacefully April 21, 2010 at the age of 80. She was born October 10, 1929 in Jamaica. She worked as a nurse's aide at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY for many years before retiring. Left to cherish her memory are her brother, nieces, nephews and other close friends. MILLER, CAROLYN H.
Carolyne H. Miller of Mt. Vernon, NY passed away on April 24, 2010 at the age of 84. Born in Greensboro, NC to Alexander and Eliza (Harris) Miller. She leaves to mourn, her niece, Carole Smith, and her cousin, Mary Macon and other family and friends. MORELLI, JOSEPH L.
Joseph L. Morelli, life long resident of Rockland County died Monday, April 26, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 68. Joe was born April 6, 1942 in Suffern to Dino and Ruth (Stander) Morelli. He graduated from Haverstraw High School and served in the United States Navy. Joseph worked until his retirement for the Rockland County Sheriffs Department. He was a member of the Leo Laders American Legion and a member of Haverstraw Elks B.P.O.E. 877. Joe enjoyed the Mets, Giants and golfing. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Christine, sons Joseph (Terri) of Florida, Dino (Kristina) of Wurtsboro, NY, Dina Morelli-Simpson of Gloversville, NY. His grandchildren Deanna, Jennifer, Cameron, Ilya, Jillian, Angelina, Mother Ruth Morelli, brother William (Carol) Morelli. He is also survived by his Father-in-law Louis Iessi, sisters-in-law Rosemarie Mitchell, Joan Marie Wilson, brothers-in-law Louis Iessi, Francis (Ruth) Iessi and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. OTTAVIANO, ANNA
Anna Ottaviano, a long time resident of Pleasantville, passed away on April 26, 2010. She is survived by her four daughters, Deborah Ottaviano, Doreen Ottaviano, Joanne Boera and Jacqueline Sinis, her two sons-in -law, George Sinis and James Boera, and three beloved grandchildren, Wesley and Christopher Boera and Theodora Sinis. She was predeceased by her Husband, August Ottaviano, who passed away in 1985. Anna will always be remembered for her cooking, love of gardening and her artistic talents. She will be missed by all who knew her. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Beecher Funeral Home, Inc. in Pleasantville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM at Holy Innocents R.C. Church. Burial will follow at All Souls Cemetery in Pleasantville.

Lucia Pellegrini, 48, of Poughkeepsie, formerly of Dobbs Ferry, died Sunday, April 25, 2010. Born August 5, 1961 in Yonkers, daughter of Joseph and Lucia Sava Gasparre of Florida. Lucia was raised in Dobbs Ferry, NY and graduated from Dobbs Ferry High School. Also survived by children, Kristina, Christopher and Kayleigh Pellegrini; former husband, Charles Pellegrini; brother, Joseph Gasparre, III.
