Robert L. Brammer
Robert L. Brammer, 55, of Staatsburg, NY, died Sunday, March 16, 2003 at St. Francis Hospital, Poughkeepsie as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Most recently he was a steamfitter for Lomasney Combustion in Poughkeepsie, retiring in 1995. Prior to that he was employed by Triple R Industries, Milton and was a supervisor at the former Western Publishing, Poughkeepsie until the Poughkeepsie location closed. Mr. Brammer was a longtime Staatsburg resident and was previously from Lakeville, CT.
He was a trustee and manager of the bar at Poughkeepsie Moose Lodge #904, Hyde Park. He enjoyed the outdoors and was a member of the Staatsburg Rod & Gun Club.
He was born January 09, 1948 in Sharon, Connecticut, the son of the late Robert Sr. and Irene (Duntz) Brammer.
On July 6, 1968, he married Mildred Indelicato in Regina Coeli Church, Hyde Park. Mrs. Brammer survives at home.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by (Daughter) Mildred Brammer & companion, John Evans of Poughkeepsie, Robert Brammer III and wife, Rachael (Son) of Staatsburg, Krystal Berry (Granddaughter) of Staatsburg (resided with Robert), Nicholas Evans (Grandson) of Poughkeepsie, Jerry Brammer (Brother) of Lakeville, CT, Cindy Webb (Sister) of Lakeville, CT, Jeff Brammer (Brother) of Oklahoma, Carol Brammer (Sister) of Torrington, CT, Betty Brammer (Sister) of Massachusetts, Jerry Brammer (Brother) of Troy, NY, Dolan Brammer (Brother) of Cohoes, NY, Linda Sawyer (Sister) of Troy, NY, Krista Joles (Sister) of Troy, NY, Tina Jackson (Sister) of Troy, NY, Howard Brammer (Brother) of Chatham, NY, Clarence Brammer (Brother) of Troy, NY, John Brammer (Brother) of Troy, NY, Mary Lou Richards (Sister) of Rensselaer, NY, Roxanne Brammer (Sister) of Guilderland, NY, several nieces & nephews, several aunts & uncles, especially, Nina Brammer (Aunt) of North Carolina, & many cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by 2 brothers, Ronald Brammer and George Mott, and an uncle, Jerry 'Beefy' Brammer.
1 Hour of memorial visitation will be on Wednesday, March 19th from 9 to 10 am at Sweet's Funeral Home, Inc., Rte. 9, Hyde Park.
A Memorial Service will follow at 10 am at the Funeral Home with Fr. Michael Palazzo officiating.

CIPOLLA, ANDREW J. JR.
Andrew J. Cipolla Jr., "Honey", a lifetime Yonkers resident died peacefully on January 27, 2009 at the age of 80.Andrew was born in Yonkers to the late Andrew and Kathyrn Denise Cipolla. After graduating from Manhattan College in 1958 with a B.S. in Education and after receiving a Masters Degree of Education from Hunter College in 1961 he embarked on a teaching career in physical education and health. For 32 years he taught at Cardinal Spellman High School, retiring in 1994. While there he was also a successful and popular football, baseball and basketball coach. His efforts and long time committment to the school earned his induction into the Cardinal Spellman Sports Hall of Fame in 1992. Andrew was a longtime and dedicated member of the Westchester County Football, Baseball and Basketball Associations. From 1973 thru 1980 he served as secretary-treasurer of the Westchester Baseball Association. In 1967 he received the C.Y.O. Archdiocese of NY award at St. Patrick's Cathedral for outstanding service to the youth of Westchester County. Andrew was an avid sports fan and was considered by many to being an expert on sports trivia. During the Korean War he served in the Air Force from 1950-1953. Beloved husband of 44 years to Mildred (Morton) Cipolla. Devoted father of Andrew (Debra) J. Cipolla III, John Cipolla, Beth Bernardone and Donna (Steven) Perrotta. Loving father-in-law of the late Vincent J. Bernardone. Cherished brother of Mildred Cipolla and the late Vin and Robert and Katherine DelDuca. Adored grandfather of Vincent, Nicholas and Joseph Bernardone and Samantha and Devyn Perrotta. Friends may call at the Sinatra Memorial Home, Yonkers, NY, 601 Yonkers Ave. on Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Funeral Mass at St. Anthony Church (Nepera Park) on Saturday at 10AM. Interment AT St. Anthony Cemetery (Nanuet).

CLEARY, JOHN
John Joseph Cleary of New Rochelle, loving husband and father, died on January 27th at the age of 78 after an ongoing battle with Alzheimer's. Mr. Cleary was a NYC Detective for 23 years where he received many commendations. He also had a second career working in the theater business on Broadway. He retired in 1994 when his first grandson was born. He then spent most of his time traveling with his wife and looking after and enjoying his grandchildren. Cleary was a long-time member of the Larchmont Shore Club and parishioner of Sts John and Paul Church. He is survived by his wife Margaret (Bunny), his three daughters, Barbara Cleary, Mary Cleary and Susan Cleary-Ansbro and son-in-law Dan, his four grandchildren; J.R., Matthew, Jacqueline and Bridgette. Loving brother of Timothy Cleary, Joseph Cleary, Robert Cleary, Marie Horton and Tom Cleary. Visiting hours will be held at John J. Fox Funeral home in Larchmont on Friday, January 30 from 2-5 and 7-9. Funeral Mass in celebration of his life will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday January 31, at Sts. John and Paul Church in Larchmont. NARDONE, LOUIS ALBERT
Louis Albert Nardone of Pelham Manor, NY died on January 28, 2009. He was born in 1926 in New York to Josephine Russo and Albert Nardone. His sister was Angela Milano and brother was Faust J. Nardone. He was a math teacher at the Nichols and AB Davis middle schools in Mt. Vernon for 35 years. He earned a BA and MA from New York University. He was a political activist in Pelham Manor, where he resided for 40 years. Louis Nardone was a devoted husband to Madeline V. Nardone, a beloved father to JoAnne Nardone and Camille Nardone-Vose, and endearing grandfather to Madeleine Albanese and Madeline and Catherine Vose. A Wake will be held at the Pelham Funeral Home on Friday, January 30 from 2-4 & 7-9PM. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Pelham Manor on Saturday, January 31 at 10:00AM. Interment will be at Ferncliff Mausoleum in Hartsdale, NY. PADOVANI, JULIUS A.
Julius A. Padovani, 80, of Katonah, NY died Monday, January 26, 2009 in Naples, Fla. Mr. Padovani was born in The Bronx, the son of the late Guido and the late Josephine Padovani. He served in the US Army following World War II. He was a local restaurateur from 1971 through 1986 and was the proprietor of Guilios Restaurant in Somers. Julius was the loving husband for 39 years to Beverly Padovani and the beloved father of Paul and Jennifer Padovani and the beloved father of Robert, Gary and Janet Padovani from his first wife Gloria Padovani. He was the devoted grandfather of Rachel, Robert Jr., Jill, Michael, Steven, Max, Madelyn and Sophie and great grandfather of Sidney Patterson.; loving brother of Albert Padovani of Somers and Orlando Padovani of Mahopac. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Friday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00pm at Clark Associates Funeral Home, Katonah, NY. TROCCOLI, CARMINE D.
Carmine D. Troccoli, a resident of Yonkers, died on January 28, 2009. He was 81 years old. Mr. Troccoli proudly served his country during WWII for the US Navy. He worked for Con-Ed for 39 years, before retiring as a superintendent in power generation. Carmine was the loving husband of Angela "Dolly" and the dear father of, Denise Carroll Palmer (Gene), Nadine (Dominick) DiNizo and Steven (Vickie). Cherished grandfather of two grandsons, five granddaughters and one great-granddaughter. Also survived by a brother and sister. Laurence J. Gomme, Jr.
Laurence J. Gomme, Jr., 80, died Friday, March 28, 2003 at home in Hyde Park, New York. He was a Set Up Man for the former Schatz Federal Bearing in Poughkeepsie. He worked at Schatz for 40 years until the plant closed. Most recently, he worked for the National Park Service at the F.D. Roosevelt and Vanderbilt National Historic Sites. Mr. Gomme, Jr. was a longtime H yde Park resident.
He was born May 26, 1922 in Bronxville, New York the son of Laurence Sr. and Claire (Pillet) Gomme. He was predeceased by his mother at an early age, and was raised by his father and step-mother, Florence Gomme. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and was stationed in the Pacific.
On April 24, 1948, he married the former Nellie Bernice Toughey. His wife of 54 years survives at home.
In addition to his wiafe, he is survived by a daughter, Sherry Blaisdell and husband, Jeffrey of Hyde Park; a son, Laurence J. Gomme III of Forestville, CA; and 2 sisters, Millicent Godfrey of England and Jeanne Keplinger of Ohio, and Several Nieces & Nephews.
In addition to his parents and step-mother, he was predeceased by a sister, Ruth Hillebrant in 2002.
Calling Hours will be at Sweet's Funeral Home, Inc., Rte. 9, Hyde Park on Sunday from 5 to 9 Pm. The Roosevelt Fire Dept. and Croft Corners Fire Co. of the Arlington Fire Dist. will conduct services at 7:30 pm during the calling hours.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 31, 2003 at 10:30 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Donald Hoger officiating. Burial with military honors will be in the Union Cemetery of Hyde Park.
Memorial donations may be made to The Hospice Foundation, 374 Violet Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 or, "your local fire dept.".
