Dr. Francis P. Donatelli, Jr.
(April 21, 1934 - May 4, 2015)

Dr. Francis P. Donatelli, Jr., 81, of Stroudsburg, died Monday morning, May 4th, at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. He was the husband of Patricia E. (Egge) Donatelli with whom he shared 58 years of marriage.

Born on April 21, 1934 in Allentown, he was a son of the late Dr. Francis P. Sr. and Mary (Castelucci) Donatelli.

He attended Muhlenberg College where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. After graduating from Temple Dental School, he served his internship and residency at Greenpoint Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Donatelli began practicing oral surgery in Allentown and then came to Monroe County in 1963. He was the first oral surgeon in Monroe County and remained on staff at East Stroudsburg General Hospital (now Pocono Medical Center) until retiring in December 1994.

Dr. Donatelli was an active member of St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church in Stroudsburg for many years where he served as lector. He was president of the board of Monroe County Public Library, president of the board of the Monroe County American Cancer Society, and a member of Rotary Club of the Stroudsburgs. He was also a member of the Monroe County Dental Society as well as the PDA and ADA.

He helped found The Gourmet Club where he learned a lot about cooking; and enjoyed history and traveling with his wife. He also had his pilot’s license and enjoyed flying.

In addition to his wife, surviving are four children; Adrienne Donatelli of Bellows Falls, VT; Licia Mosher and her husband Glenn of East Stroudsburg; Carla F. Bennett and her husband John of Soulbury, Bedfordshire, England; and Christopher Donatelli and his wife Norma of Macungie; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a sister, Dolores O'Brien of Fanwood, NJ; a brother, Robert E. Donatelli, Esq. and his wife Kathryn of Allentown; and nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM Friday, May 8, at St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church, 818 Main Street, Stroudsburg, with Rev. Carmen Perry as celebrant. Burial will follow at Stroudsburg Cemetery. There will be no viewing.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial remembrances be made to Michael J. Fox Foundation (Parkinsons Disease), P.O. Mary J. Riday
(August 23, 1931 - May 2, 2015)

Mary Joan (Conway) Riday, 83, of Saint George, UT, died early Saturday morning, May 2nd, while under hospice care at home. She was the widow of Robert C. "Neil" Riday, Sr. who died September 25, 1994.

Born on August 23, 1931 in Throop, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Julia (Mulroy) Conway. She lived in Oakdale, NY for many years until retiring and moving to Utah in 1994.

Mary worked for the Connetquot, NY, School District at various positions, most notably she was secretary at Helen Duffield School.

Surviving are two children, Jeanne Ward and her husband Kevin of Livonia, NY and Robert C. Riday, Jr. of Stroud Township; and two grandsons, Lee Ward and Shane Ward.

Private Services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family; Mary will join her beloved Neil at Tannersville Methodist Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to the Lymphoma Society or St George, Utah Hospice via Dixie Home and Health.

Sterling "Skip" L. Cramer
(November 30, 1946 - April 28, 2015)

Sterling "Skip" L. Cramer, 68, of Bartonsville, died Tuesday evening, April 28, at the VNA Hospice House in East Stroudsburg. He was the husband of Rosemarie (Smith) Cramer with whom he shared 33 years of marriage.

Born on November 30, 1946 in East Stroudsburg, he was a son of the late Clarence and Mildred (Butts) Cramer and was a lifetime resident of Monroe County.

He graduated from East Stroudsburg High School and worked in the x-ray department at Pocono Medical Center.

Skip called BINGO at the VFW in East Stroudsburg for several years and also enjoyed golf and bowling.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, John Cramer and his wife, Sharon of Marshalls Creek, Adrian Ace, Candy Evans and her husband, Mike of Bartonsville and John Brink and his wife, Terry of Blakeslee; six grandchildren, Nathan Cramer, Seth Cramer, Michael Evans II, Matthew Evans, Jonathan Brink and Korynne Brink; a brother, Clinton "Butch" Cramer and his wife, Gwendolyn of Tannersville; several nieces and nephews; and his grand-dog, Nikki.

Viewing will begin at 10:00AM followed by the funeral service at 11:00AM on Monday, May 4, at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg. The Rev. Peter Richert will officiate. Burial will follow at Prospect Cemetery in East Stroudsburg.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Clark Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.

Charles A. Ward
(May 6, 1958 - April 27, 2015)

Charles A. Ward, 56, of East Stroudsburg, passed away suddenly on Monday morning, April 27, upon arrival at Pocono Medical Center after being stricken at home. He was the husband of Janice T. (Moody) Ward.

Born May 6, 1958 in Brooklyn, NY he was a son of Sarah (King) Ward of Queens, NY and the late Jessie Ward. He lived in Monroe County since 1992.

He worked in computer access and security for Telerx thru Sanofi Pasteur.

In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by two daughters, Jana (Ward) Thompson of Florida and Sadae (Ward) Hayblum of Manhattan, NY; two brothers, Jessie Ward and Gerald Ward both of Queens, NY; a sister, Linda Jones of Queens, NY; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins..

Viewing will begin at 11:00AM followed by funeral service at noon, on Friday, May 1, at the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg. Burial will follow at Stroudsburg Cemetery.

ALEXANDER "BUB" J.D. FULLER
Alexander "Bub" J.D. Fuller, 51, of Hamilton Township, died suddenly Thursday, June 28, 2018, upon arrival at St. Luke's Hospital - Monroe in Bartonsville, after being stricken at home.

Born on June 25, 1967 in East Stroudsburg, he was a son of Alexander P. and Sharon (Pugh) Fuller of Minisink Hills.

He was a lifetime resident of Monroe County and worked as an auto mechanic.

In addition to his parents, surviving are his partner, Anne Smeltz and her son Dan Smeltz; a sister, Sharon Starkes and husband Lon of East Stroudsburg; a brother, Shawn Fuller and wife Vicki of East Stroudsburg; a nephew, Steve Starkes; a niece, Rachel Starkes; his former wife, Tracy (Halterman) Fuller of North Carolina; and many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Crystal L. Fuller on February 4, 2006.

Services will be held on Thursday, July 5, from the William H. Clark Funeral Home, 1003 Main Street, Stroudsburg; with viewing beginning at 10:00AM followed by the funeral service at 11:00AM with Rev. Dr. Edward C. Kimes officiating. Burial will follow next to his daughter at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Minisink Hills.

In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances may be made to Clark Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.

Glenn E. Sorensen
(November 13, 1916 - April 26, 2015)

U.S. Veteran
Glenn E. Sorensen, of East Stroudsburg, PA, passed away at home on the morning of Sunday, April 26, 2015. He was 98 years old.

Mr. Sorensen grew up in and around Dwight, Illinois and graduated from Chillicothe Business School in Missouri. He resided in Detroit, Michigan until 1943, when he joined the Army and served in the Philippines during World War II. After the war, Mr. Sorensen returned to Detroit until he moved his family to New Jersey before retiring to Pennsylvania.

He was employed in various managerial positions with the Dept. of the Army, Ford Motor Company and Lockheed Electronics before retiring in 1981. Post retirement, he served as business manager of the NJ District of the Lutheran Church and as Vice-President of the Lutheran Church Extension Fund. In 1985, Mr. Sorensen was awarded the Servant of Christ Award by Concordia College, NY.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ellen Sorensen of East Stroudsburg; daughter, Ruth Mengak and her husband, Doug of Bridgewater, NJ; two sons, Paul B. Sorensen of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and James Sorensen and his partner Malinda Strauss of Belle Mead, NJ. He also leaves four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The memorial service will begin at noon on Thursday, April 30, at Christ Hamilton United Lutheran Church, 419 Bossardsville Road (village of Hamilton Square), Stroudsburg with Rev. Brett I. Jenkins, officiating. Private burial will take place at Northampton Memorial Shrine in Easton. There will be no viewing.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation on his behalf to Christ Hamilton United Lutheran Church, 419 Bossardsville Road, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
