Survived by children, Linda D., married to Paul L. Bondor, Mandesville, La.; and Michael P. McCann, and wife, Susan, Franklin; grandchildren, Stephanie M. and Rosalyn R. McCann, both of Franklin; Thomas A. Bondor, Washington, D.C.; Paul A. Bondor, New York City; and Karen Casillas, Houston, Texas; and three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Paul P. Jacobs, Johnstown. Rosella was formerly employed at Penn Traffic and Glosser Bros., and after retirement, she was active with RSVP and Meals on Wheels. She was a member of St. John Gualbert Cathedral, where funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Monsignor George B. Flinn, VG, officiating. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary Inc., Downtown, 514 Somerset St., where the vigil service will be held.

Born Sept. 21, 1914, in Windber, son of John and Victoria (Leskiej) Paluch. Preceded in death by parents; children, Victoria and Thomas; and sisters, Katherine Single, Mary Hannon and Ann May. Survived by his wife of 57 years, the former Helen L. McClain; and these children: Joseph Jr., married to the former Linda Kosher, Frederick, Md.; Edward, Sidman; Theodore, married to the former Sharon Tegley, Salix; Stephen, married to the former Mary Lou Albert, Salix; David, married to the former Beverly Kipphan, Hedgesville, W.Va.; and Mary, wife of Clark Gaydos, Mount Hope. Also surviving are a daughter-in-law, the former Barbara Rodda, widow of Thomas, Johnstown; 10 grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and four step great-grandchildren. He was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, the American Legion, the UMWA and lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans. He was a coal operator for Logan Coal Co. He was a Marine veteran of World War II, serving with the 27th Infantry Division, and was wounded on Iwo Jima. The last surviving member of his immediate family. Friends received from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Jean H. Kinley Funeral Home, Beaverdale, where Parastas will be sung at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Liturgy, 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, Father James Spontak, celebrant. Interment, St. Mary's Byzantine Cemetery. Military graveside rites by the members of the Beaverdale American Legion.

PARKS - Joann R., 77, of Johnstown, passed away May 2, 2006. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave.

ROBERTSON - Mrs. Irene B.
ROBERTSON - Mrs. Irene B., 89, of Clelland Mill Road, New Castle, passed away on Wednesday morning, May 3, 2006, at the Overlook Medical Clinic in New Wilmington, Pa. She was Born on Thursday, April 12, 1917, in Bolivar, Pa., daughter of the late Robert Henderson and Leah Foust, and was married to Mr. James C. Robertson on May 4, 1941; he preceded her in death in 1965. A long-standing member and past president of the Mount Jackson Presbyterian. She was employed by Mohawk Schools as a cafeteria worker for 17 years. She was a member and past president of Mount Jackson Woman's Club and was a local Girl Scout leader. She leaves behind two sons, Mr. James C. Robertson Jr. of Hermitage, Pa., and Mr. Jack A. Robertson of Chester, W.Va.; two daughters, Mrs. Diana Richards of Brecksville, Ohio, and Miss Phyllis Robertson of Mount Jackson, Pa.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by father, Robert Henderson; mother, Leah Foust; husband, Mr. James C. Robertson; half-sister, Dorothy Hewitt. She loved her family and her cat, Morris, who was her companion for 22 years; he survives and currently resides at the Promises for Pets. Visitation will be at Terry A. Cunningham Funeral Home on Friday, May 5, 2006, from 2 to 7 p.m. Service will be held at Mount Jackson Presbyterian on Saturday, May 6, 2006, at 11 a.m., followed by a luncheon. Family will then have a private burial service at Mount Jackson Presbyterian Cemetery at 2 p.m. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, to Mount Jackson Presbyterian Church General Fund, 129 Mount Aire Road, New Castle, Pa. 16102, or Promises for Pets, P.O. Box 621, New Castle, Pa. 16103.

Ruby thoroughly enjoyed life and laughter. She was a homemaker and an avid gardener and reader. She gave selflessly to everyone, and will be especially remembered as an advocate for children with special needs. She devoted her life to her family. Survived by children, Carole, Jenners; Sandra, married to Len Slizewski, Hoschton, Ga.; and Donna, married to Jay Striby, Baltimore, Md.; 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Anita (Petty) Bertolini; and son-in-law, James Saylor, both of Ferrelton. He was a former coal miner for more than 25 years. Along with his wife, he owned and operated the former Jenner Greenhouse for almost 60 years. Member of UMWA and Jenner Rod & Gun Club. Joe was an avid woodcarver, hunter and fisherman. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He will truly be missed by all who loved him.
