Lukas was a student at East Side Elementary School and was a very happy child and was loved by everyone. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Moskal -- Kennedy Colonial Funeral Home, Ohio Street and Highland Avenue, where service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, the Rev. Roland Catterall officiating. Interment, Headricks Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name through the funeral home.

Russ retired from the Ebensburg Center maintenance department. Served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, New Germany. He was a graduate of the former South Fork Croyle High School. He enjoyed woodworking, working in his beautiful gardens and pitching horseshoes. Friends will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home Inc., South Fork, where vigil for the deceased will be held at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon Saturday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Father Alfred Patterson, OSB. GINDLESPERGER - Susan (Vitko), 82, Centennial Drive, Adams Township, passed away Aug. 29, 2006, at Windber Medical Center. Born Sept. 26, 1923, in Windber, daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth (Dill) Vitko. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Andrew, John, Steve, George and Michael; and sisters, Ann Alexander, Mary Ulatsky, Helen Vitko, Margaret Onderko and Verna Laslo. Susan was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Susan is survived by her husband of 58 years, Clyde Gindlesperger; and these daughters: Carol, wife of Donald Solich, Middletown, Md.; Germaine Zemba, Middle Taylor Township; and Dorothy, wife of Richard Ola, Richland Township; grandchildren, Aaron Solich, and wife, Traci; Kristin (Solich), wife of Brian Doherty; and Adam Solich; also Richie, Megan and Melissa Ola; great-grandchildren, Joshua and Kaitlyn Solich and Jonas Doherty; and also numerous nieces and nephews. Member of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, Windber, where Susan was a member of the church Rosary Society. Preceded in death by parents; first wife, Berta; infant sister, Pearl; and brothers, Burrel L., Alger E., Joseph O., William E. and Earl R. He is survived by his wife, Doris, of Johnstown; son, Donald A., and daughter, Ramona Davis, both of Pittsburgh; four grandchildren; five stepchildren; 14 stepgrand- and great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorris Catherine, and husband, Edgar Rideout, of Pittsburgh, and Jessie, and husband, Charles Grigsby, of Johnstown; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Retired from the U.S. Air Force and the Pittsburgh Police Department. Member of the Mount Sinai Institutional Baptist Church. Friends received Friday from 11 a.m. until time of Homegoing Service at 1 p.m. at the Mount Sinai Baptist Church, 111 Cambria St., Conemaugh, the Rev. Jeremiah Hunter officiating.
